With growing demands for convenience in New York’s fast paced lifestyle, salons have hesitated to provide on site beauty services for the new mom or the lawyer who just cant seem to make their hair appointments. Established in 2014.

The In Room was started by Jayda Burrell, a 23 year old licensed cosmetologist who decided that she wanted to create convenience for woman who were having trouble making their salon appointments due to a busy lifestyle.

I am a licensed cosmetologist who after working for numerous salons in NYC, realized that I needed to create a convenience for woman who were unable to make their salon appointments due to a busy lifestyle.

After successfully gaining clientele from my own home I decided to offer my clients something that I knew they would love and that is having the convenience of me traveling to them. The In Room has changed my life as a hairstylist and I am sure it has changed my clients lives as customers.
