I decided to go here based on the fact that at the late part of the lunch hour, they still had a small line. After ordering, the wait was annoyingly long to get my food. The lady was quite nice, anyhow. So, upon finally getting my burrito, I was kinda disappointed that there was not a handful of tortilla chips to go along with it. 4⁄5 places that I go to, will throw in these chips with your burrito. Moving along, the burrito was pretty tasty. The ingredients were nice and fresh, and the meat was tender and well seasoned. It was good, but this is by no means earth shatteringly good Mexican food. Anyone throwing 5 stars at this place, is only living in their apartment, office and the food trucks outside that office.

Seriously This truck is unreal. Not only is the food absolutely to die for and unique, but the people that work there could not be nicer. Also, the whole establishment looks very very clean. I know this isn’t often talked about but it does have an impact on how you feel about where you eat

Long lines from noon. About 15 minute wait. I have ordered here a few times, usually the platter. The food is not memorable in any way, but it is more than enough for lunch. And the price is pretty good at $ 9.00.

Best Taco truck in the City as far as I’m concerned! Great selection to choose from, everything is ALWAYS fresh and plentiful. I generally get 3 different types of tacos at a time, but if I’m really hungry, it’s the burrito platter, which could really feed 2. I haven’t seen them recently in their usual haunts, but I tracked them down today, 55th and Broadway, happy to hear they are going to be back in my area soon, 46th street and 6th Ave, CAN’T WAIT!

This food truck has been stationed outside 55th and Broadway and I just love it. The Steak Quesadilla is so good The Tacos are awesome too. I like the Salsa Verde sauce. I keep going back everyday for lunch… Am I nuts? You bet I am… I am nuts for Tacos. If you see this truck… go quick… it’s calling for you…

This is my second day in a row at this truck and if they are here tomorrow there may be a 3rd day in a row. Yesterday I was overwhelmed with choices so I went with 3 tacos — carne asada — very tender chunk a of beef Tinga bite — the chipotle chicken was smoky and a hint of spice Al pastor — the pineapple just makes this amazing Each taco came with a double soft shell, a Slice of lime and a radish garnish. All were quite delicious but I felt that it was a little tough to get the full flavor profile that you would get in a burrito since they are the little tacos. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, the tacos are almost more the sample size prior to committing to a flavor for a burrito. Today I went with a Tinga bite burrita. Your typical burrito but lettuce instead of rice for a slightly healthier version. This was awesome. The mango sauce and the spicy red pair well together with the chipotle chicken. I’m kind of glad they have the styrofoam container to catch all the juices that pour out but a foil wrap to hold it together a little better would enhance the experience. Overall, I really have enjoyed everything from this truck so far and would highly recommend it.

Everyone at work had been talking about this truck and has become the Saturday lunch routine of many of them. People go through«withdrawals» when he isn’t around I was told. So I decided to give this truck a shot and I have yet to miss a single Saturday in front of this truck with my $ 6 in hand. I like coming here not simply because the food is really good but the owner of the truck is really friendly. When I told him that it was my first time here he gave me some recommendations and welcomed me to the«taco truck» family. I recommend the chicken quesadilla with onions and cilantro with a side of the salsa verde(for the spicy lovers) and chipotle creama(for the sweet ones). They work well together. He is located in front of the Apple Store UWS every Saturday afternoon.

This truck is WHAT I was LOOKINGFOR. I ordered the chicken burrita which is terrific! A Burritta is a lite burrito made with Whole Wheat and the Burritto is corn tortilla. Excellent Burritta. You pich the meat the sauce and the fixins. from an easy to do menu on truck. My wife tried the tacos and she loved them. With my office in midtown this is a GREAT find for me. The service was quick considering at lunch time the truck had quite a line. Delicious!

Ordered 4 tacos from this truck. Only three were actually in my container when I got back. They owe me a taco! Jerks. The wait was way too long! Almost 30 minutes for food from a truck. If the food was actually good, it may* be worth it. But it was definitely not. The tacos were soggy and the sauce was kind of lousy. These tacos definitely dont travel well. You would have to eat them with 30 seconds of receiving them for them to be even remotely dry. Skip this truck. I still cant figure out why the line is so long. Maybe its all first timers. +1 for gluten free taco shells.

Wow. Just wow. I’ve been hitting up the food trucks lately at WFC since there is nowhere else to eat in the building anymore, and this, bar far, is the best one I have sampled. I had the steak, chicken, and pork tacos, all with the hottest sauce they have(forget the name) and the chipotle crema. Each taco was better than the next. The steak, while still great, was my least favorite of the three. Each taco was super flavorful, and the spicy sauce had a legit kick to it. Give it a go… I promise, you will like this one.

Upon further investigation and Burrito Number 2 — last week… (which was insanely delicious — the Al Pastor is my new favourite… so juicy… and that Pineapple BBQ and Mango Bite sauces were so good…) I’m going to need you guys to wrap the burritos in FOIL… Pretty please… While the container is perfect — and you fill them to the MAX with awesome food… It falls apart if you try to lift it up… and I’d rather not eat it with a fork and knife. Am I the only one that prefers to hold their burrito? Using cutlery is just wrong for me… Also — I’m trying to understand how you are keeping your prices so low — and offering SUCHGREAT food? and so much of it… Do you have a pig farm at home? Who is your hook up? I’m just blown away… at getting all of that food for $ 7… And while people will shoot me for saying it — I would gladly pay $ 10 + for your burritos because I think they are WORTHIT… even my coworker agreed… with me… I mean especially for the Steak and Pork options… I don’t know how you are doing it. but God Bless you man. The Pork and Steak are solid. Now I just need to work my way down the rest of the menu… See you on Friday mi amor.

Their burritos are the size of a new born baby! I ordered a loaded chicken burrito with chipotle crema and avocados. All this came out to $ 6! Doesn’t get cheaper than that in midtown. My burrito was loaded with lots of meat, I can’t believe I’m saying this but I wish there was some more veggies in there to balance it out. Had to knock a star off for the 30 min wait!

I would go again. PRO’s: Eating the 3 soft shell tacos. They were really good. I tried 1 chicken, one ground beef and one that he rec’d(I’ve forgotten). 2x as good as Chipotle. CONs: among the longest I’ve had to wait for food from food truck. NOTE: We were sitting in a line that took a while — looked @ Unilocal reviews of the place were waiting for(it was 1.5 stars), opted for Taco Bite b/c it was well reviewed and we were rewarded. I was with a San Francisco taco snob who said they were good.

This truck is the real deal. I’ve been looking for a good taco truck for a while in midtown and this is it. I’ve tried blend express and they are good too but Taco Biteis definitely better. The chicken is amazing and juicy and spicy and yummy! The chorizo is really good too! I tried tacos the first two times, 3rd time today I wanted to try the quesadilla and I was warned it was a 20minute way but OMG soooo worth the wait! Delicious! The only thing more I could ask for is for them to serve Fish Tacos, then I’d be in heaven!!!

Amazing! My friend and I ate here and we were oh so pleased. I had the chicken tinga burrito and it had rice, black beans, and cheese. I got it with a chipotle cream sauce which ad a great flavor. The chicken had a great taste and I could tell that it definitely was marinated. The burrito was very large and it as only $ 6!!! They don’t have regular drinks but they do have Mexican sodas. I had the orange flavor and it was delicious. It was naturally sweetened and it hit the spot. The man who worked the truck was very friendly and was easy going. I’m not sue rid be owned the truck or of but if he does I give him kudos. The god and service is great and I had absolutely no complaints. Definitely following Taco Bite’s!

What a great addition to the Flatiron area! When I first saw the truck park on 5th Avenue a few weeks ago, I thought… «Oh, can’t be good with the bright blue color. Trying too hard.» I’m so glad I tried them out today and so so glad that I was so so so wrong! I ordered the Grilled Chicken and Spicy Pork soft tacos. Each taco came with raw onions, cilantro, and your choice of sauce. Rather than choosing my own sauce, I left the experts recommend sauce(s) that best complements each protein. Mr. Taco Bite recommended the avocado crema and salsa verde with the Grilled Chicken taco. The chicken was juicy and tender, but the flavors were a little subtle. The sauces enhanced the chicken slightly, but I do wish the salsa verde was a bit spicier. The Spicy Pork came with the picanto rojo sauce and WOW — I was blown away with the flavor blast. The sauce complemented the pork perfectly and the pork was so juicy and so good. The pork is also cooked with onions, so not only was there raw onions and cilantro, you get that oniony contrast with the cooked onions as well. I hear the steak and mushrooms are good too, so I will definitely return and try it all.

Cut to the chase: the al pastor(either as taco or burrito) is awesome and is competitive with anything I’ve had in Sunset Park and/or Mexico. The pork itself is very tender, flavorful and not overcooked with just the right amount of sweetness. They add in a little bit of pineapple which brings out just a little more tart sweetness to make your mouth water a little without being overwhelming or gimicky. The guy at the window is really friendly and will suggest sauces for you to put on your meal as they have a choice of 6 or 7 different kinds. $ 7 for a huge burrito is a great deal too. I can eat the whole thing but I imagine many will find half is enough for lunch and will keep the leftovers for a snack. I’ve run into them by the Apple Store near Lincoln Center and now they seem to be down in Flatiron(20th St @ 5th Ave) nearly every day for lunchtime. This is ultra pleasing to me since I live near Lincoln Center and work in Flatiron. Check their Twitter feed since this seems to be where they post their location most consistently. If you see them, please give them a try. I want to make sure they stay in business for a long time to come so I can enjoy my burrito al pastor for many more years.

I really enjoyed this new addition to the food truck scene. They have a nice selection of meats to choose from, from steak to chicken to a few different types of pork. I’m pretty sure they had vegetarian options as well. They also have a list of 7 – 10 sauces to top your taco with. You can get these options in a taco, burrito, or quesadilla. I went with a chorizo taco with salsa verde sauce. The tacos come with cilantro, onion, radish, the sauce you choose, and double layered tortilla, which is key. $ 3 is slightly more than i like to spend on a taco, but they put more meat in the shell than i’ve seen from other trucks. The sauce had a nice kick, but i’m gonna have to try one of the hotter ones next time.
