Following the artistry of his ancestors; builders, architects, painters, innovators, and world travelers, he continues the craft by distributing skills and techniques created with passion and composure. He established st&s far from home, but challenged by the success he has found New York City as his new, favorite home.

Sash honestly cares. That in itself is a monumental plus. He cares about the work, the client, what’s right for the space. even if what’s right means less money in his pocket. He even came back to fix an area he warned us would be a problem but we didn’t listen…
It struck me that, despite his youth, he’s an artist, with a modern aesthetic and an old world, master craftsman level of finesse. Honestly, Sash and St&S are a class act.

I found Sash through Unilocal so I figured I owed it to him and other Unilocal users to write a review. I’m so happy I found him. I originally called Sash about hanging some wallpaper but through the process I switched it to hanging a product called Stikwood. He wasn’t familiar with it but he helped me figure out the correct amount to purchase and read up on it before coming to my house for the install. I was impressed with how prepared he was. He and his assistant did a great job and I’m so happy with the end result. I have a couple more rooms that need some kind of wall covering or paint and I will definitely be calling Sash for the job.

We recently purchased a new apartment and had trouble finding someone to wallpaper a few rooms in our home. I came to Unilocal and contacted a few of the options I found. First, Sash was quick and responsive. He came over the next day and actually gave me excellent advice on what to wallpaper, which types of wallpaper, etc. His price was reasonable and I trusted the reviews I had read on Unilocal with his work. He did not disappoint me at all — his work was immaculate, quick and he’s a nice and easy person to deal with. I would highly recommend contacting Sash if you need wallpapering, painting or have any other jobs. I never review on Unilocal but really think it’s worth passing on the good word.

I was looking for someone to hang wallpaper in my bedroom. After reading all the great reviews on Unilocal I decided to reached out to Sash to get an estimate. He gave me a reasonable quote and we were able to set up a time and day that was convenient for me.
Sash arrived on time Friday morning and was done before noon. He was friendly and professional from start to finish.
Over all, I was very pleased with his work and will definitely hire him again. I highly recommend using his services as it was a pleasure working with him.

Sash did an amazing job in transforming my bedroom wall and the foyer! He was very very delightful to be around and knowledgable in ansering am questions during the entire installation. We had a couple issues along the way, the wall paper we purchased seperately was merely enough to do the bedroom based on the measurement, he kept us honest and provided several options. Phew, good that we do have just enough paper in the end. The wall looks absolutely amazing!!!

From calling to make an appointment, to having the wallpaper installed, Sash was very professional throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and answered any questions we had prior to him coming. Sash and his helper arrived on time to our apartment and completed the job very quick. We were stunned at how great the wallpaper came out. They type we chose was textured and as he said one of the hardest wallpapers to install… But, they did an amazing job. You cannot see any lines. The wallpaper is smooth the whole wall.
I would definitely recommend this company for sure. Their price was reasonable, too. I was also pleased to learn that they do other type of home improvement work also. We will definitely be hiring them again for future work!

Sash did an amazing job hanging a wallpaper mural in my son’s room. This was a very tricky job, and he connected up the longitudinal and latitudinal lines perfectly. He was on-​time, friendly, and clean. I wouldn’t ask for better.

This company, and Sash, the owner, are absolutely AMAZING. Truly. We needed a film location entirely re-​worked for a professional shoot — all rooms repainted, new locks, appliances moved and replaced, trees trimmed, etc — and we needed it done fast and excellently as it was being shot on a top of the line professional camera and all details would be noticeable. Normally you have to choose between price, quality and speed — the old saying that you get a great deal on two of the three. St&S and Sash delivered on all three and then some.
The work was perfectly done, done in less time than we even asked for or needed (he was finished days before we had asked him to be), and he was absolutely a pleasure to work with — respectful, smart, attentive, a problem-​solver, generous, on time — as were his colleagues. And he didn’t skimp on a single thing — going out of his way to point out what might be helpful to us even if it meant more work for him and his team without more compensation. He was amazing and a total joy to work with. He’s also excellent at helping you achieve goals within a budget. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I hired Sash to wallpaper an irregular closet that I turned into a relaxation nook. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the job that he did and keep standing in front of the room to admire his handiwork.
Sash is incredibly committed, detail-​oriented, and flexible. He offered different options that would have allowed me save money by purchasing less paper, but in the end, I was very happy to buy an extra roll (with a complicated pattern) to really showcase his expert technique.
Personally, Sash is wonderful to work with. He’s very easy going, responsive, fair, and works quickly. I couldn’t recommend him more enthusiastically!

I had Sash come and hang faux brick wallpaper on an accent wall and could not be happier.
The basics: He was on time, polite, and cheaper than competitors. Worked efficiently and cleaned up when finished. He was a pleasure to work with, responding quickly to calls and texts in clear and plain language.
Why he is a 5 star pro: His attention to detail is what really set him apart. The faux brick was a horizontal pattern so the paper had to be aligned perfectly so as not to give away the look. Sash hung the paper with extreme care, aligning milimeter distances, so now I can’t see the seems or any break in pattern. Truly perfect work.
I would recommend St&S to anyone and they are the only people I will call for wallpaper in the future.

Amazing! Sash and his assistant came in and perfectly wallpapered a 10×13 wall I had, and managed to work around a pipe that went through the wall. They are fairly priced and work both thoroughly and quickly. I cannot recommend them enough!

Honestly, this guy knows what he is doing! We bought expensive wallpaper and were worried about who to book to get the job done well. I read the reviews on Unilocal and gave him a call. Again, extremely professional, accommodating on days, time and when put to the task executed a perfect job. He plays great music whilst working too :)

Sasha was awesome, I really can’t imagine anyone being better. I found him here on Unilocal and hired him to do a very difficult pattern for very expensive wallpaper. I was very scared to let anyone put it up. His prices came in considerably lower than everyone else’s, but with the job he did I felt like I got the best deal I could have. It took him less than 4 hours to do it and it’s perfect.

Sashko did 3 different wall paper jobs in my apartment, that were all different in type of fabric and print and they all came out amazing. There is literally nothing I could find of fault — wallpaper prints match up perfectly, clean lines, and no glue mess. He did all of this and was out of the apt by 4pm. Didn’t even take a break for lunch!
I will definitely call Sash again in the future if I move to another apt. Highly recommended.

Sash is an experienced wallpaper and paint contractor — he knew immediately how much wallpaper to get and installed it beautifully. I was nervous about hiring just anyone since my wallpaper was a designer brand and would be very expensive to replace. I can’t not stress enough how amazing Sash was!
I called about 20 wallpaper installers asking if they could put up my wallpaper this week and they all laughed at me «sweetie it takes a few weeks to get organized.» I called Sash he came over within 3 hours of the initial phone call, assessed the job, and said he’d be at my place at 9am the next morning.
He trimmed my wallpaper beautifully, and extremely quickly (a 14ft long wall and 8ft high only took 3 hours). He also painted two other walls without tape and the lines were PRECISE!
He has amazing taste in music and we jammed together while he was working. A very professional worker but very fun and warm.
His prices were also the best around.
Would highly recommend him to anyone for wallpaper and painting!
