Specialties
At Spring Street, I have an anatomical focus on foot, ankle, knee, and hip related problems as they relate to walking.
Chiropractors are licensed doctors who specialize in the Spinal Adjustment and in the location and correction of Spinal Subluxations. We are the doctors most appropriately trained in musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment relating to pinched nerves due to mechanical imbalances of the human frame. Chiropractors have many years of study in the muscular, spinal and nervous systems and their relationship to normal body functions. This training makes us highly qualified to care for numerous chronic and severe conditions.
As a chiropractor I am educated to determine when a condition requires a non-medical or a medical solution and am responsible to refer patients to the appropriate healthcare provider when necessary.

History
Established in 1994.
I first became interested in chiropractic because it had dramatically helped my own headaches and lower back pain. I also suffered with sciatic leg pain which would radiate to my right knee off and on for years. Although I considered myself a healthy person, I physically felt much older than I actually was. I saw my first chiropractor in 1981 after a good friend convinced me to go. Ignorant of what chiropractic was, I was looking to get relief of my symptoms. I wondered what a chiropractor could do for me that my regular medical doctor couldn’t do. Being a student on a tight budget, I was reluctant to spend money on something that I did not understand or may not work. By then my back and leg pain had worsened to the point that I was taking pain medication regularly. Therefore, it was as a last resort that I tried a chiropractor.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
My 1st experience with a chiropractor was a very positive one. Up until that time I had lived with back pain and headaches. After that time I found the spinal adjustment to be therapeutic and effective without having to take medications. After that time I found the chiropractic spinal adjustment to be both cost-effective and therapeutic. That was nearly 20 years ago. Soon after, I went back to the State University of New York at Stonybrook and completed the last of my entrance requirements for chiropractic college. I was accepted to Life Chiropractic College in 1983. I recieved my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1987. That same year I opened my first practice in Berkeley, California. In 1990 I moved to New York City and opened 78th Street Chiropractic in the uppereast side. Finally, in 1994 I opened my present practice, Spring Street Chiropractic. I am licensed to practice chiropractic in New York, California and Washington, D.C.
