I specialize in Prosthodontics & Cosmetic Dentistry with over 30 years experience. I use High Technology in Dentistry to improve smiles one patient at a time with gentle dental care. I trained as a Prosthodontist at Memorial Sloan-​Kettering Cancer Center in NY & did a Fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics there as well. After 11 years on their full-​time staff.

I practice with you, the patient, in mind. My Upper East Side New York City office, opened in 1989, is dedicated to your comfort & convenience and you will receive modern, preventive dental care in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere.

We provide comprehensive dental care based on my training and 30+ years experience as a prosthodontist focused on Cosmetic Dentistry. As more data emerges on the connection between Dental Health and Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes and Cancer, my staff and I help my patients achieve and maintain healthy gums and periodontal conditions.

History

Established in 1989.

Having seen the best and worst of hospital-​based medicine, I decided the patient experience should more supportive and less stressful than it usually is. I felt that by selecting staff, layout, equipment and dental supplies of the highest order, I could provide superior care with the extensive training and skills I had.

399 E 72^nd St had a dentist who retired just as it converted from private to Co-​op ownership, and the office space had been used for the workman who were upgrading the building as part of the co-​op conversion.

I worked with excellent designers at a dental equipment and supplies company and set-​up the office with state-​of-​the-​art infection control and precision equipment.

I work hard at staying on the cutting edge of technology with CEREC one-​visit porcelain crowns, onlays and veneers and Biolase No-​Shot, No-​Pain Laser Dentistry available in less than 3% of all dental offices. I use both my scientific background and my artistic eye to provide the best care I can.

Business Owner

Born at Park East Hosp and lived with my parents and grandmother on Madison Av-​98^th St. We moved briefly to Orangeburg and then to Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. I attended PS 194, Marine Park JHS and Stuyvesant HS before majoring in Chemistry, earning my BS from Brooklyn College in 1972. I was a founding member of their college radio station WBCR — became their Chief Technical Engineer. I was active in Battle House socially & worked the evening shift at the computer center to get through.

Privileged to attend Tufts Dental School in Boston & a General Practice Residency at Boston City Hospital. I joined the full-​time staff at Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center in Dorchester MA before returning to NYC (1978) for my Prosthodontic and Maxillofacial Prosthetic training at Memorial Sloan-​Kettering Cancer Center remaining full-​time as an assistant attending dentist treating both head & neck cancer patients & oral complications of chemo & RT until 1989 when I opened this office,
