James Koretz, DMD

I’ve lived in NYC since 2003 and was recommended Dr. Koretz by a then co-​worker. I have moved more times than i can count on one hand but have remained a loyal patient. His staff is professional but laid back. They are always waiting and ready-​to-​go when i get there. his equipment is state-​of-​the-​art and brand new. most importantly, there is a friendly and warm atmosphere in his office that i have really grown to love. i can’t imagine going anywhere else for my general dental care. I highly recommend Dr. Koretz and his staff to anyone looking for a dentist.

Here’s yet another positive post singing the highest praise for Dr. Koretz. He’s kind, warm, professional, and an amazing dentist to boot. An added plus is the fabulous music he’s got playing on the sound system.

I just realized that my dentist of more than two decades is listed on Unilocal,and I’m feeling guilty that I’ve never written him a review.
Dr. K is a fantastic dentist, and equally important, a wonderful person. I have a difficult mouth, so you’d think I’d hate going to the dentist, but I never neglect an appointment.
His professionalism and genuine care for the overall patient has been proven to me time and again, and is matched by everyone who works in the office, from hygienists to other staff. What sets him further apart is his honesty and careful approach: never once have I thought that he has recommended a procedure unless it was absolutely necessary.
I know it sounds over the top, but I think most people would agree that it’s easy enough to find a doctor, but when you find a dentist you feel such comfort with and trust in; well, that’s something to rave about.
Sorry it’s taken me so long to offer this review. I don’t do a lot of them, but when I do, it’s because the professional truly deserves it.

Dr. Koretz is simply the best dentist I have ever used. Not only is he a skill Dr but his bedside manor is the best. The office staff and Dental Hygienists are also stellar. Lastly they are excellent about working with your insurance.

This guy’s been my dentist for at least 10 years. He’s the best. Glad to see me and the family every time, despite having a huge list of illustrious celebrity clients. No undue pain ever (and he’s done everything imaginable to my teeth), friendly receptionists, and his assistants are great too.

Dr. Koretz rocks. I had a lot of dental issues when I started going to the office and I needed two root canals. He did both, and they were completely pain-​free. He advised me on ways to improve my oral hygiene and soon I had problem-​free check-​ups and cleanings. I recently moved and will miss the good doctor and his excellent staff. One of my favorite things about the office is that I almost never waited for my appointment.

Not only do I not dread going to the dentist anymore, I actually look forward to it. Dr. K is a rock star!

Dr. Koretz is a smart, quick, pain-​free dentist. Has a great personality as well as an extensive cool music selection on the ipods. Nothing better than listening to some Stan Getz while getting the teeth cleaned. Very nice and talented staff too. Highly recommended.

I started going to Dr. Koretz about 10 years ago because he was recommended and close to where I lived. I still go even though I no longer live close by because he is an excellent dentist. He is blunt, honest, and conservative. He takes the time to explain things. He seems genuinely concerend and is just a likable guy. There is always good music playing in the office. His staff are upbeat and warm. His rates are reasonable, especially for Manhattan. All things considered, it is about as good as you could ask for from a dental office.

Efficient office, nice guy, and convenient location. Relatively conservative, which is perfect for most of us. Talented, works fast, and kept me informed. Friendly hygienists, and great office staff.
