Seward Park Liquors is your one-​stop shop for fine alcoholic beverages.

We carry a large selection of kosher wines and liquors, boutique wines, imported liquors, premixed cocktails, single malt scotches, bourbon & small batch rye, sake, port wines, prosecco, flavored vodkas, aperitifs, wine and so much more.

Our 1000 square foot facility affords our customers a comfortable and relaxed atmoshpere. Shop with us and we’ll find just the right product to complete your party, dinner or night with friends.

We deliver — call or come into the store to place your order and we’ll deliver it right to your front door. Delivery requires either a 12 bottle full case purchase, or, a minimum order of $ 100.00.

Weekends are especially fun with our new wine tasting bar. Our complimentary wine tastings are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays between 5:30 pm and 8:00 pm. Bring your friends and enjoy samples of our wines and liquors.

I just visited here when I was in the neighborhood and needed a last-​minute host gift. The staff was as friendly and personable as ever, and I can highly recommend the bottle of locally-​produced Gewürztraminer that they sold me. A tad pricy (around $ 18), but dry and delicious with a spicy Thai meal. Thank you, Seward park Liquors!

Excellent selection and good prices as well. To echo what JP B. said below, an added plus is their willingness to stock Austrian reds, which have recently been praised by the New York Times’ Eric Asimov as an up-​and-​coming category. Staff is friendly and helpful, even when torn between selling booze and selling lottery tickets (apparently a neighborhood attraction); I’ve never been disappointed when taking their advice. Best in the neighborhood; I’ve had to go to Astor Place Wines for a better selection, which isn’t often possible. Cheers, mate.

I am often here to pick up wine for work (we do weekly happy hours). John and his staff are always friendly on top of being wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful. I have scoped out other places in the neighborhood, but this is the best!

I was in the neighborhood visiting friends and searching vigorously for a wine/​liquor store in the area. Nothing for blocks aside from this place which I must say looked like it was going to be the regular «hood» liquor store. You know the type: the liquor store with the bulletproof glass between you and everything else. To my surprise it was the complete opposite once I got inside.
I was surprised to see how organized the wine selections were in terms of shelf presence and how well stocked they were too. The place was very clean, very neat, and well lit. I spent about 20 minutes inside looking for a nice bottle of red wine and then also picked up some pinot. One of the staff members helped me grab one of the bottles which was on a high shelf and he was very helpful and polite. After pulling out my credit card he asked me for I.D., gave me my bottles and wished me a Happy Belated birthday which I thought was a very good touch. Attention to detail is what many of NYC’s establishments lack.
This place has a great soul.

This is not the perfect liquor store, but it is pretty much the only one in the nabe. I do not begrudge the owner for charging a little extra for everything; he really, unlike almost everywhere else in New York, has no competition. Their hours are good, they are open on Sunday, and they have wine, and liquor, with a pretty good selection to boot.

I was looking for a liquer for a baking project and for some odd reason couldn’t find it in any of my usual large liquor stores. I remembered that this shop was close by and figured I’d take a chance and go inside for a look-​see.
Shockingly, when I entered, I found quite a different store than what I imagined. From the outside, the place looked a bit dumpy. But, once inside, I found a brightly lit, clean shop with quite a decent selection. Also, it was waaaay bigger than the tiny shop I was expecting. I mean, you walk further back and there’s a whole other section to turn into.
Not only did they offer me several types of the liquer I was looking for, I even picked up a bottle of Valpolicella for a decent price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back here!

Overpriced. Decent wine selection, not always enough whites chilled. Better than anything else in the neighborhood but too overpriced in my opinion.
They can be helpful. I was torn between two and three stars because of the price, but honestly, for the neighborhood its pretty convenient. Would never go out of my way to come here. Bonus for being open on Sunday and occasionally having wine tastings. In my opinion, could have a better champagne selection. Don’t really drink beer but not the place for beer.

Since the expansion these folks have upped their game, picking up an extra star. There are still too few bottles here I’d consider bargains, but there are enough reasonably priced good bottles in this store to keep me from walking extra blocks to save a buck.
Recent improvements include:
–Going from having no Austrian wines to offering three reasonably priced Gruner Veltliners. Nice, and about time.
–Decent selection of sparklers, including delicious and aggressively priced Proseccos and Cavas.
–Even more drinkable French, Italian, Spanish and Argentine wines under $ 15, with even more enjoyable examples available for when you want to spend more.
–New staff nearly as knowledgeable as the veterans.
Like I indicated, this place doesn’t pick up the extra star on price (they’re not overpriced, but they’re not cheap); they pick it up on good selection and staff, both of which are wonderful to have in the neighborhood wine shop.

Having recently moved to the area I wanted to check out a decent wine/​liquor store. The two gentleman working the store were very helpful and friendly. When I asked for recommendations they were helpful in pointing out bottles that weren’t just on the high end but represented the best taste for the money. Decent liquor selection as well and prices were comparable. I believe it was about 26 dollars for a handle of Smirnoff. If you’re looking for beer, you’re best off just going to a bodega. One thing I liked about this place over another I recently visited was you had room to roam around rather then being enclosed in a bullet-​proof glass box.
Only slight downside is they don’t take American Express.
