The salads here are life especially the Italian salad but let them know no extras they always add peppers I don’t mind picking it out because the roasted garlic in the Italian salad is amazing

I ordered breakfast that wasn’t delivered. I called an 1.5 later and they confessed they forgot, refused to refund me because the food will arrive in time for lunch. NEVERAGAIN! NEVEREVERNEVER!!!

Awesome pizza in the heights. Whenever I’m on 181 I eat here. I think the best I’ve had in the city in a long time. I usually get a slice of the Bianca and margherita. The dough is amazing, not bland at all and there’s a perfect ratio of cheese and dough. Just as good are the smoothie and juice options. I love that they don’t use dairy in their smoothies. Finally! They use a Vitamix so you’ll be hooked up. They don’t always have all of the options, but my fave is G — mango, strawberry, raspberry, and apple juice.

The food is fantastic and the service is great. The ambience of the place is very pleasant and welcoming as well. I lived in Washington Heights for a month and was at this place almost everyday: it’s hard to stay away from their food!

The«one star’ update reflects my most recent order. Worst burger I’ve had in ages. Totally dry and overcooked, just awful… and of course, cold upon delivery. I’m giving up on this place as a delivery option.

Decent pizza, can be greasy sometimes though. Wings leave much to be desired. «Garlic bread» are you kidding me? Of the 10 or so spots I’ve tried, this is the best pizza joint in the Heights

I had a toasted bagel with egg-whites and veggies. It wasn’t anything too exciting but I might have just ordered the wrong thing. My friend ordered take-out eggplant parmesan from Scoop a few days back and he ended up having a portion that lasted him 3 days, AND it was delicious so maybe one should stick to the mediterranean specialties at this café.

This review is for their takeout — I ordered a falafel platter with hummus and baba ganoush and a chicken shwarma wrap. Both were really good. Everything was fresh and tasty. I don’t live super nearby the storefront, but now that I’ve tried it I might stop in, especially since it sounds like they have free wi-fi.

Good cheap pizza by the slice. The manager — some big muscly guy — seemed to be having a bad time, though. He didn’t seem to acknowledge me for a few minutes. The rest of the crew was great. I will return. The menu looks awesome.

A great find in Washington Heights! This place differs from most others in that they have free Wifi(most places in this area do not offer Wifi)! This is a fantastic café if you need to have lunch while studying. No need for Starbucks and their cramped sitting areas. Scoop’s panini sandwiches are not only yummy, but only cost around $ 6. The employees are really nice and attentive; they even bring your food to your table. Last time I was there, the cashier gave me a free soda ! Love this place!

Service was slow and the food was not good. All I got was a tuna melt panini and it was cold even tho he allegedly heated it. The tuna melt it’s self was bad. How do you screw up tuna? Also he handled my sandwich with his bare hands and didn’t put on gloves until he saw me looking. Never again! Too many great places in the neighborhood to pay for less than mediocre food.

The food here is SO mediocre which is a shame because there’s so much potential. The staff is generally very slow and has nonsense of urgency when it comes to the customer.

I want to give these guys more than 3 stars but less than 4. I am all about trying new delis/restaurants in the neighborhood. When I found Scoop Café on Grubhub, I jumped on that band wagon fast! Their menu is kind of like a deli/diner taken up a notch. Quality is very good, they go the extra mile seasoning their food. I really like that about this place. But, to keep cheap deli prices? And, a bigger variety?! I like that. Okay, down to the food itself. The Chicken Kebab Platter was very good. They provided a nice portion of chicken that was well seasoned and not over-charred. The pita bread could have been slightly imitation-fresher. It doesn’t need to be fresh… but it would be nice if it wasn’t a chip… otherwise, I thought it was pretty good. The Deluxe Bacon Cheese Burger was great on flavor but a little dry. The fries were good on flavor as well, hot and crispy. Which is difficult to achieve when sitting in take out containers! I feel like there is great potential here and really it’s just a matter of maintaining the good and slowly making small corrections(which really are small!). But, you know what? I’m intrigued. I’m coming back. I gotta try everything on the menu before really making a thorough opinion. And, shoot, I like to eat!!!

I walk by this café often and since I was hungry, this time I had to go in to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of options that the menu had. For a café, I was expecting a couple of pastries and sandwiches. It has a lot more than that. The staff was very friendly and asked me right away if I wanted something when they saw me looking at the menu. I asked about the falafel item on the menu and they told me it came in the option of a platter, so I went with that. Very helpful, since I may have missed it but didn’t see the platter option listed. The atmosphere of this café is small but inviting. There are a couple small tables and then a bar-like seating area with high top stools. I wouldn’t come here for an intimate chat or to read a book, but to grab a bite to eat it was great. And, my meal was delicious! For under $ 10, I got so much food. I was taking a gamble by ordering falafels from a café, but I was not disappointed. My only complaint is that they do not have soy milk here. I would have given the café 5 stars otherwise but if I had wanted a cappuccino, I wouldn’t have been able to get it with soy and would have just gone up the street to Starbucks instead.

Great prices and simple food. But this place is insane. The clientele is so bizarre. The staff is nice but often clueless. The door doesn’t close all the way so there is a constant draft whipping in on cold days. No bathrooms here either. About five tables, and the space is clean. Comparable options in this area include 2 diners and a Starbucks, so not much. I will continue coming here for $ 1 Lipton tea when I need to kill time, but not because I particularly want to.

This place just opened in my neighborhood, so of course I had to check it out! Their menu items range from breakfast foods(bagels, eggs, omelettes) to brick-oven pizza, to sandwiches/wraps & salads. Prices are reasonable, and the white pizza I had was delicious! Friendly staff, too. One star off because I was hoping they had ice cream(i mean, they’re called SCOOP café), but they don’t. & because there are A LOT of typos on their takeout menu.
