Another one of those New York pizza staples — come by if you want a cheap pizza that just is mediocre at best. Giving it one star would be a bit too much though — it’s one dollar. What are people expecting? Pizza I had was slightly undercooked — would have like it to have a bit more of a crunch on the bottom. Like the other New York«staple» eats, you didn’t come here to eat some amazing dish — you came here because it was convenient.

Definitely some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had, and they apparently raised their prices to $ 1.50. It’s clearly going to pay the rent for that prime real estate and not into the ingredients. The sauce is overpoweringly sweet, the crust is soft and fluffy and undercooked, and the cheese completely comes apart from it when you fold it. They also don’t care enough to warm the slices thoroughly. No napkins, and the seasoning containers are all missing their tops so it’s impossible to pour a reasonable amount of anything onto your slice. There are better, and actual, dollar slices in the city.

Just ate here and I find some of the reviews on here to be crazy dramatic. Yes, it is more than a dollar a slice $ 1.09. Ever heard of tax? The staff here was friendly and quick. My plain slice was okay, nothing to rave about but I’ve had worse more expensive. For dollar slice it’s pretty good. Seating here is limited, maybe 5 stools. No television or anything. It really is a get in get out place. If you don’t have money to spend come here for a quick slice.

First off, slice costs more than the advertised dollar. Considering this is probably the worst and cheapest NY pizza I have ever had, that’s just criminal. Weeks later, I still shudder at how badly-made the crust was, to the point that it actually brought me physical pain to consume it. Your first impression as you bite it is sharpness; the crust fragments like a shard of glass and scratches up your mouth. Following this your crust will turn into a thick chewy white-bread-flavored paste that requires the full effort of all your jaw muscles to break it down into nourishment. This is only mildly complemented by the thin spread of ragu-tasting tomato sauce and such a weak helping of processed cheese that you won’t even notice that it’s there. As you fight your way through the slice you may notice the extremely unclean man pressing out the dough with no gloves, hat or hairnet, no proper place to store finished dough, or anything else that involves health standards. Awful pizza, slow and awful service, not even worth the dollar and change. I’d sooner eat a gas station slice than try this again.

Oh my goodness — this was possibly the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever had. No joke. I know a lot of people stand by $ 1 pizza and say how good it is — but not this place. The pizza reminded me of someone who just dumped cheese & sauce on white bread. I’d rather eat Kosher pizza before torturing myself with this sh*t again.

Greasy, salty, sweet. The guy at the counter was rude. Another employee was mopping around my feet as I was trying to eat. But hey! It’s 99 cents!

Love Roll n’ Go, but recently they changed their prices due to taxes so now pizza is no longer a clean buck. Still a delicious slice on the cheap though.

You get what you pay for, pizza is cheap and some people like it, but not me. This place left an aftertaste of straight up onions. I will never get pizza from here ever again.

This establishment was 4 blocks away from where I was staying and I found it the eve before my flight home. Plain pizzas are $ 1. One topping pizzas are $ 1.50. Can you go wrong?! As I walked in on my way home getting off the train, I was surprised to see a pizza for $ 1. It’s like I was supposed to be here. The train took too long; or I lost my patience, and I decided to walk to my rental. My eye caught a glimpse of a sign that read«$ 1 pizza.» Wasn’t planning on grabbing a nite to eat because I had some leftover chicken and fries in the fridge waiting for me. But I did it. Got my go-to pizza, pepperoni, and enjoyed my slice walking home. Sweet way to end my last night in the big apple! :)

Cheap and decent. Nothing special. As I was unfamiliar with the area, it was a convenient choice. Their cheese slice was a $ 1. If you want toppings, it will cost more.

Not as good as «2 Bros» pizza which is the comparable $ 1 Slice. But still, it’s hard to beat a dollar slice if you’re in the area.

I was here around 5:30PM yesterday on the way home after helping out a friend. I wanted to get something to eat but nothing too heavy so I stopped in here when I happened upon it. For $ 1 you get a no frills cheese slice. It’s not that big and the crust could be crispier but for $ 1 it’s pretty good. The usual spices are there to add if you wish– salt, oregano, red pepper flakes, black pepper.

Pizza was satisfying. I enjoyed it I was a little confused as to why the charged me $ 1 extra for mushroom topping when he rang me up but still $ 2 for a pretty well made pizza in the city is still unbeatable. Can’t wait for passover to be over so I can go back and have another slice!

Worst pizzeria to go to. Came in waited on line for 5mins asked for my slice to be heated up the guy said no skipped me and continued to serve the next person on line. How hard is it to heat up a dam slice. I even touched the slice to see if it was hot and it wasn’t and he sold that slice to someone else. Very unsanitary.

I totally agree. Beggars can’t be choosers. For a dollar, this is a steal.

In the hunt of $ 1 pizzas I could have possibly found a real gem. The first time I came here was after a fashion party at Soho Grand Hotel. It not only did the trick but the guy handling the cash/making my pizza was very friendly. Good people to talk with actually even at the wee hours of 1am-2am. I had just beaten the crowd that will no doubt come in hordes from Canal Room for cheap slices. The second time I came was during lunch for the Tribeca Film Festival. The guys in the daytime not as friendly and the bottom of my pizzas came out burnt. But after some scraping and patting down it was Okay. Come here at night for slices. After splurging on drinks all night, your wallet will thank you. Your stomach will too.

I’ve eaten here two times, and the pizza is great! Both times were around 10pm, so the service has been great since there were only a few people in the place. Not sure if pizza gets any better than this for a buck! Tip: if it’s a pizza fresh out of the oven, give the cheese a little time to set. If it’s a warmed up slice, you’re good to go!

Decent for dollar pizza. Beggars can’t be choosers. Although I’ve had better I’ve also had worse. Definitely hits the spot when you’re in a pinch monetarily-wise lol

It’s one of those places that you go to just for a quick snack or something. Should I comment on service? You’re basically being ignored for a few minutes while they talk with friends or do diddlyshit behind the counter. They can afford to though because it’s $ 1 for cheese slices and people will wait. Anyways, the pizza is decent and I did notice that the dough was thicker than normal pizza. Fine with me.

I disagree with the previous reviewer Joshua M. The dollar slices are not really good… by a long shot. But they’re decent, cheap, and filling. What more can you ask for? They also have topping slices for not much more — $ 1.50 — $ 2 I believe… I also appreciated that they have a whole lotta other cheap food options including a $ 2.99 falafel sandwich deal that I’d like to try at one point.
