I would honestly join this pizza in holy matrimony, move to Portland, Maine, and start a B&B named«The Gilded Pie». Hit this shit up and give Tony a big ol’ high five.

Gross pizza! Crust was burnt, pizza was floppy and didn’t hold up the toppings. Never again.

PIZZAWASREALLYGOOD. SERVICEWASGOODASWELL. But… I am concerned about cleanness. We seated back where tables are placed, they have tv. While we were eating our delicious pizza, we saw a small cockroach taking a walk … No more comments.

Wow… Great ambiance and service. The group on staff yesterday were seriously on point in terms of their service and humor. Trendy music was playing — but not so loud that we couldn’t chat amongst ourselves. A nice place for friends, family, kids, adults, etc. Very rustic décor.

I used to love ordering from Rocky’s but as of late, I felt the quality has declined a bit and the prices have gone up. Either that or they charged me incorrectly for the penne a la vodka. There wasn’t much vodka sauce and on top of that it wasn’t a well made sauce. After our last experience, we decided we most likely wouldn’t order from here again. Luckily, our replacement spot is a few doors down, called Garlic.

The food is OK, it’s the chicken and broccoli slice that keeps me coming back. I only come here at 3am after a long night, why else would anyone have pizza. Overall the vibe is young and fun. It’s the only pizza place I’ve seen that plays club music at 3am lol. Give this place a shot.

My first time here and the choices of pizza toppings are awesome! I ended up with choosing the chicken marsala slice and it had such great flavor. What’s great about it is the crust is thin so you’re not eating just bread. They are not cheap with the toppings!

Stumbled across this place randomly with a group and we were exploring quick lunch options in this area. Judging from everything they had on the counter as we walked in, this place serves up a good variety of specialty slices. Overheard a decent amount of people ordering the Caesar slice so it seem there’s something special about that. Couldn’t afford to be adventurous at that specific time/day for the sake of my stomach, so I settled for the simple pepperoni and sausage slice which didn’t disappoint. This joint is definitely superior to your 99 cent pizza shops and quick eats café.

Always go for the vodka slice! The best one you will ever have! The pesto one was also good but too oily. The artichoke one is also a great pick! Must have if your padding by the bars around the area or even watching a movie across the street

Its a mixed bag. Everything about this pizza was good except the crust. Thats the problem. The crust is critical but it was soggy. I wish it was good, cuz they are so close to me.

Can’t beat Rocky’s pizza! It is like Lombardi’s /Patsy’s Pizzeria but without the wait. Actually think it is better than Patsy’s to tell you da truth. You just don’t have the fancy restaurant feel. There are tables in back and they sell beer so that is a plus. But love this joint.

I only been here twice, but so far the pizzas are very good. It’s great there is a wide selections of pizza and the restaurant is nice, but the beverages is a little expensive.

Pizza sauce is sweet and very good. There selection of pizza’s is outstanding, had the eggplant parm pizza and it was very good. Perfect for a slice late at night! Service was ok, we were only people in store and he was kinda rushing us for a too go order.

Ordered from this place and they charged me and didn’t deliver. We called multiple times and they hung up on us. Took 2 hours to get our food. They were very rude and told us we should have«confirmed» our order.

All three times that I called(first to place the order and the other two to check upon the status of my order) they were very rude on the phone. They took more than 1:20 to deliver and the order arrived wrongly, the pizza was warm and the box was smashed. In addition to all that the tomato sauce that they use for their pizzas tasted extremely sweet. One thing for sure, they shouldn’t offer late night deliveries if they can’t handle it. Definitely my last order placed with them.

I give Rocky’s 4 stars because they deliver us wine after hours. Any time I’ve been in a pickle(aka didn’t get home from work until 11pm and all the liquor stores are closed, like what happened last night) Rocky’s never lets me down! After calling 5 other restaurants, Rocky’s was, as always, the only one that pulled through for us. So instead of spending a lame Friday night in, my boyfriend and I got to enjoy a nice bottle of wine, pizza, and a movie! Oh and the delivery was on point too. They came from Murray Hill to Alphabet City and I swear they were at the door 5 minutes after I hung up the phone.

I hate giving yet another place a five star review, but the chicken caesar salad pizza deserves nothing less.

Gloria first introduced me to Rocky’s Pizza on 33rd Street and 2nd Avenue, right in between our apartments. On the outset, this place looks just like another pizza deli — you know the thousands across Manhattan that display pre-made pies and reheat slices upon order in some brick-lined conventional oven behind the counter. And while Rocky’s might take a similar approach, it’s end product is not only fresher, but really tasty as well. You’ll find some pretty unique toppings, like heaps of romaine lettuce and one of their best, penne a la vodka. Of course the traditional route is great as well — most notably spicy sausage and roasted peppers. So as you walk in(and leave any preconceived notions at the door), look past the pizza and you’ll see the a quaint den-like seating area in the back. The space, lined in exposed-brick, is lit by cute little chandelier-like overhanging lights. And for further reassurance, you can watch the pizzas being made fresh on a small counter behind the register. The dough is tossed here, without any fanfare, as each time I visited, these guys were busy fulfilling orders. You might be thinking it’s hard to find truly bad-tasting pizza — after all it’s usually our go-to drunk food and inevitably always tastes delicious. But if your adventures ever bring you to the East Side at the end of the night, give this a shot and you’ll be craving this even when you’re sober like I have been these past couple of weeks(ahhhh!).
