Rainbow

This is a newly-​opened location. Great variety and very good prices. Staff is not unfriendly, they are knowledgeable and helpful. The one drawback is having to purchase the items without a chance to try them on (they don’t provide a fitting room, and only one crappy, not large enough mirror is to be found in the entire store…), and that could be a drag, but since I don’t live too far from this location, I can actually afford to come back and return items if they didn’t fit (which I would be only able to ascertain when I go home with the purchases…). Pity the tourists who are only in New York for a day or two — they would be the ones taken advantage of (because of the no-​fitting-​room policy…). Overall, it’s a good deal, though

Decided to stop by here since it was close to our hotel and we needed something to wear for our impromptu extra day in the city. Very jam packed small store but you may be able to find what you need. When we were ready to check out we went up to the register where the woman did not even greet us even after we said hello. She just stayed on her phone before taking our items to check us out. So rude.

I am a fan of Rainbow stores. I found this store while getting dropped off for an über bear the port authority. I went in to see the new store and the staff was very friendly. I also love that they carry shoes large enough for me; women’s 9.5. A couple of the staff asked to help and if I was ok but B at the register kept my attention and made my shopping trip a pleasure. I didn’t give the store a 5 star rating because the racks are VERY close together and finding a mirror involves one of the friendly staff letter my me know where it was.
I didn’t have much time to shop tonight as I was in a hurry but I did get a good feeling in the store. The staff was busy fixing the store at the end of their day but the store looked in fine condition. I hope they keep the store nice.
The store has great styles of shoes, women’s clothing, and accessories. And yes hey do carry XL! Prices are great for the quality of the clothing. I recommend at least stopping in and looking around. We need more inexpensive trendy stores like this with good staff so at least give them a chance.
I found a pair of booties and boots tonight. The boots are lined and maroon. The booties were semi standard bald booties with zippers on both sides of the bootie.
