I am surprised there aren’t more reviews! In my mind they are famous. Questroyal is my favorite gallery to visit. The team is as at least as knowledgeable and passionate about American Art as I think I am, having grown up with artist parents, surrounded by museums, and having been an Art major for two years. I have managed to buy two paintings from the gallery and they would be among the last things I would let go of. Their inventory is broad, and the quality is high to very high, and I would buy from them again and recommend them to anyone with an interest in Art appreciation, or in investing in American Art. I feel their main theme is the Hudson River School, even though have lately diversified into 20th Century American Art. A good work of Art can appreciate financially while you can always value/appreciate it personally whether or not that is how you look at it. I look forward to future visits and have brought friends with me on a few occasions and they always had a wonderful time as I do. All the artwork is well vetted, the prices are very fair and more reasonable than most other galleries I have visited. They are very transparent about pricing and I have learned a great deal from them every time I visit. I have several catalogues of theirs for reference. At least check their website! It alone is a valuable reference.

I might be a little biased in this review since it is a family run operation of my boyfriend’s but if you are looking for 19th and early 20th century American paintings this is your place! They have quite the collection to choose from and an extremely knowledgeable staff that will assist you with all your needs. Their gallery is a beautiful space located steps away from Central Park and the MET! Open 6 days a week Monday-Friday(10 – 6) and Saturday(10 – 5) for walk-ins and appointments do not feel shy about visiting they show love for everyone! Visit their website: P.S — I do not get commission for this endorsement!
