Wow! Amazing salad! I got the Shrimp and portobello mushroom with suggested Low fat Tex Mex dressing. I devoured it. Great value at 8.99 and filling and delicious. Dressing was great as was the flavor of the shrimp. Will order again!

Good selection of salads and soups. Decent place in a location where most cafes are shabby and touristy. It’s not the best food by any means but it’s good enough for a lunch break. Better to take away.

Conveniently located next door to our hotel, we made several visits to this cute shop. The muffins are exceptional. Moist and full of flavor. Today I tried create your own salad. You pick the lettuce type and topping, they chop them up and mix it all together for you with your favorite dressing. Delicious!!!

ughhh I know Manhattan is expensive but $ 9.68 for ½ an egg salad sandwich and a small soup?! And it was bad. Sandwich too salty, cream of broccoli soup was a yucky consistency — was not creamy or white in color so I couldn’t tell that it was cream of broccoli. Still not sure how to describe it. All I know is that I will not be going back.

We ordered burgers for lunch. The burgers were good(I was definitely hungry) but the fries were very greasy. They were fresh but the oil used for frying must have been heavy. It was a solid burger but next time I might try their salad.

I went here today to to get a rice bowl. They lure you in with a sign that says $ 6.99 in the front for the bowl. But this is without meat(just a grain and veggies). Really, you end up paying $ 10 or more when you add meat. But that isn’t why I am giving this 2 stars… My bowl was the SALTIEST meal that I have had in recent memory. I mean, salty to the point that I felt as though I had a blood pressure spike! Maybe the chef added salt and his hand slipped but I would hope if that was the case that he would remake it. I’m kind of sad because I got breakfast from here once and it was decent.

I have ordered form this place for the past month religiously. Today, I decided to try the salad bar which I have never tried before. After ordering on seamless I was so excited to dive into my salad. Besides the point it was DRENCHED in dressing upon my first bite I pulled a BLACKHAIR out of my mouth. IF that wasn’t enough there was another one I found floating on top. So, I called the restaurant and told the manager(the lady answering the phone) what had happened and she said okay we will resend it and then hung up on me. I them called seamless and told them about what happened and how unapologetic the lady was too me and more so, that I didn’t plan on eating a salad from a place that I just found a black hair in my food so why should I pay for it? He was nice and then told me to hold and called the restaurant. Five minutes later he gets back on the phone and tells me the manager REFUSESTOREFUNDME8 $ FOR A SALADBECAUSENOTHINGWASDONEWRONGONTHEREPARTANDANOTHERSALADWASONTHEWAY. TERRIBLE customer service and such a nasty lady. Hate to tell her that not only did she just lose my business but the other 12 people in this office that order there as well.

I go here every morning for coffee. The girl knows me by now and makes my coffee the way I like it. I occasionally buy lunch here. So far I have tried the following: Quinoa Bowl: Very good, gobbled it up in no time. The Portobello Sandwich: It was excellent with one exception: it was supposed to come on a jalapeño roll, instead it was on an olive roll. It was still good. The salads: Very good and fresh with decent prices. A large selection of greens.

They have the best salads in all of NYC!!! I have searched far and wide for delicious salads to grab at lunch and these guys have beat out all of their competitors! I just wish they had more locations!!! Can you guys please open up a spot on 28th and Madison??! The veggies/ingredients are always fresh and tasty! They have a ton of dressing options and they are all so good! I also tried their quinoa bar and its just as delicious! They also have great muffins! This place is the overall best lunch place!

This is my go-to salad spot. They have many toppings and don’t limit you to an extent most other places do. They can mix your leaves(ex: kale & spinach) which I personally prefer to do. All ingredients are always fresh and the service is super fast.

Stopped in for breakfast one Tues morning. Everything is made fresh to order FAST! Pretty good for a little café. My two egg plate was well cooked and super yummy home fries. My mother’s omelet(which you get to customize) was good as well. Great place to stop into if your staying at one of the 3 nearby hotels.

I ordered a Falafel salad and a Falafel Supreme Panini and was very disappointed. My falafel salad did not contain any falafel and my panini did not contain any humus or cheese(despite the description including these items). I called Pure and Fresh and they came right back with the correct order but were a little miffed because they explained that despite the name and description; those items cost more.

If you’ve never been to an NYC salad place, this won’t impress you. But here, you can get a salad with a boatload of toppings(I go vegan, so grilled tofu, avocado… the primo stuff), and I never feel rushed to decide. Sorry to the people behind me! For the same price elsewhere, you’d just be eating a salad with corn and cherry tomatoes. They actually listen to what you order and I don’t find stray chunks of egg like at those places that use a chopping machine rather than hand chopping. If I lived somewhere more civilized, this wouldn’t impress me. But it does.

I have been going here pretty regularly for a bit, I’ve accepted it’s a little over priced, and that any of the carts sitting on a corner brew a better coffee, but sometimes you just want a hot breakfast sandwich and a place to sit. A the thing that knocks this place down is the radio. The choice in music makes it impossible to enjoy anything, unless… your life peaked in 2001 and you want to relive the pop music of that era. The food inconsistent, the ordering process feels rushed and hectic(welcome to nyc) there is little to really set this place out as a. «Oh hey let’s go here» still a better option than mc Donalds

Fresh create your own pasta. Get it delivered every day to work. Always hot and always fresh, free delivery and always quick. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a subway style pasta bar that’s healthy. Pastas will cost you around 6 – 10 $ depending on how many toppings you have.

I’ve never been so happy with delivery in my 23 short years of life. I was in Manhattan for job interviews, staying in Herald Square. I’d just gotten back after three interviews in one day, trucking around Manhattan in 15 degree weather, and I was starving. I found this place on Unilocal and ordered the mushroom panini, potato salad, and Oreo bar online. I got into bed and opened Netflix to wait — and no sooner had I opened my laptop than my phone rang. The delivery guy brought my meal to my room and when I opened the door he handed me a full meal for less than $ 20. The Oreo bar was great, and the(warm!) mushroom panini was on this amazing olive-studded bread. I give four stars because the potato salad was super dry.

This place is so great! I absolutely hate going through Unilocal and seeing the 1 and 2, even 3 star reviews for a place like this. Clearly these people are little bitter customers that can’t be pleased — no matter what! First of all, the selection is amazing. And fresh! We first had lunch there — a turkey jalapeño panini and a turkey BLT — both so tasty! And the breakfast is also so delish… We were so sick of eating the free hotel buffet next door. I highly recommend this place for a quick smoothie, bite to eat or any of their other healthy choices. I’ll be returning!

For such a small place they have a huge variety. Custom salads, delicious wraps and sandwiches, sweet deserts, and juicy burgers. That’s just scratching the surface, the food is great and people are friendly and its all decently priced. I deffinitly plan on returning during my next visit to NYC.

(2Chainz voice) «When I die, bury me inside of Pure and Fresssshhhh» !! …only if I die in Midtown, though. During lunch time. Honestly, this is one of my favorite places to eat between the times of 11am and 3pm if I’m at work and didn’t bring food or if I’m in the area. I don’t know why they don’t have more stars, but they should. If you have a complaint and you’re vocal about it, they’re more than accommodating. The owner is hard-working and will listen to your feedback. They may have made changes since previous reviews, because I have been here way more times than I should have lol… Last year I was probably going at least once a week between March and November. Please give them a chance. Their Mango Madness and Very Berry Smoothies(with optional add-on protein) are to die for. I also really really enjoy their Chicken Fajita Panini. Not sure if they still have it, but the Black Bean«Soup» satisfied the pleasure spot as well.
