History

Established in 2015.

The very first McGettigan’s Irish Pub was opened in Dublin in 1964 by Donegal man Jim McGettigan. In 2010, McGettigan’s started its journey around the world. After opening pubs in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Limerick, Letterkenny, Galway, and Singapore, McGettigan’s arrived in New York in 2015. McGettigan’s NYC is located on 70 W 36th Street, right between 5th and 6th Avenue. McGettigan’s proudly wears the tagline «The Modern Irish Experience», as it reflects modern Irish food, culture, sports and music. The brand is steeped in Irish family history and is using this history and experience to bring a real flavour of Ireland to a global market.
