Dr Pico is awesome! I had never been to a chiropractor before– when my back went out I was in pain and didn’t know where to turn. my friend recommended Dr Pico– he is honest and knowledgeable and loves what he does– which is a great feeling knowing you are under the care of a professional who cares. His office staff is friendly and he is very flexible with his hours and I can absolutely recommend him without hesitation. I am feeling so much better already with just a few adjustments!

Services wise this office was great. However, a few months ago, they billed my health insurance erroneously and emptied out my HSA, deducting $ 650 for two visits. This has never happened before in the year and a half I’ve been going there! Insurance is already stressful and confusing as it is. I was really disappointed when the office refused to fix the billing and to reimburse my account. If services weren’t great, then they would be getting a one-​star. As a result, I refuse to return as a client. I certainly lost my trust in this office as a medical provider.

Dr. Pico is one of a kind. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable and takes a genuine interest to get to know his patients. He is extremely thorough in his examination before he treats you, and his expectations for my recovery were clear and accurate. I went to him at a time when I could barely move my head and was in extreme pain. I felt an improvement after the first visit, and continued to feel better after every adjustment. I will be forever grateful to him for offering a sliding scale to me once he found out I was experiencing financial hardship. The man has a heart of gold!
Lastly, I was extremely impressed with his entire office staff– hands down, the warmest friendliest I have ever met. I highly recommend Dr. Pico’s chiropractic care to anyone who is in pain.

Called to check availability 15 minutes later I was adjusted. Dr. Pico was a gentleman and I am 6’5″ 270 so in dealing with a gorilla it did not phase him and he did this all in one attempt.

I went to see Dr. Pico in 2011 and recently started seeing him regularly again for the past few weeks. His office is very welcoming, and he works with your schedule with very accommodating hours. I would recommend Dr. Pico’s chiropractic services wholeheartedly, and I am glad I came back under his care! He is a very kind and friendly person who makes you feel very comfortable. He really knows his stuff, and I have always left his office feeling much better and less tense when I came in. Thank you!

My husband and I have been going to see Dr Pico for almost 3 years. He is the best! As well as being a great practitioner — professional, gentle and approachable — he works with complete integrity. And he’s affordable and would never rip you off. What’s not to like?

I went to Dr. Pico after my only chiropractor passed away. I’m so glad my friend recommended him — he’s a life saver. I never thought I’d trust another chiropractor, but Dr. Pico is professional, kind, effective, and not at all pushy. He doesn’t try to rope you into unnecessary visits and meets you right where you are. He has helped me after a bad fall on my back, training for a marathon, and everywhere in between. I’m so glad to have found him.

Dr. Pico runs a family practice, and I am proud to say my whole family has benefitted from Dr. Pico’s care. Living in NYC, and being a very active family, we are susceptible to the minor (and major) aches and pains of daily life. Dr. Pico is always very careful to address and adjust all of our chiropractic needs.

In addition to being a terrific chiropractor, Dr Pico is as nice a person as you could want to meet. He always has a smile and a friendly way about him. And you ALWAYS feel better when you leave his office. I’ve been to a lot of chiros, and he is really special.

Run (carefully) don’t walk, to Dr. Pico — you won’t be sorry! I have been seeing Dr. Pico for over 9 years, and he is the BEST! Besides being a very caring and personable man, he’s an amazing chiropractor. He always puts the pieces back together. I had a migraine for 3 days… went to him, and the pain was gone in an hour. My hip was recently misaligned, and within a few hours of the adjustment I was without pain. He’s very knowledgeable and gentle… I go to him not only for adjustments when needed, but for my overall wellness too. Seeing him has become a regular part of schedule. My friend and tennis partner tried to encourage me to see a chiropractor for five years before I acquiesced. My back would more than often cause me trouble. I began seeing Dr. Pico two years ago and am convinced that this practice and his expertise is the right thing for me. The concept of having your spine well aligned with all those connecting nerves attached, I find to be both valid and a prescription for a better quality of life.

The first chiropractor to make me have hope! Dr Pico is simply the best. He has been treating my upper back and neck and its the first time I am getting relief in months. He is so good, nice and makes a point to get to know his patients. His staff is amazing too. Not very often that a doctor and the staff are top notch across the board. State of the art equipment too! Highly recommend!

Listen. I’ve tried many chiropractors over years, because of a neck that’s a mess. Problems around C4 in the spine, but Dr. Pico and his crew are simply the best! I have been with Dr. Pico for a year and a half at this point. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He takes his time with you, he will listen and respond to his best abilities and give you a hug after the adjustment if you need it. He is holistic thinking and knows that health is many things. I’ve gone from having severe pain in neck and sometimes I couldn’t bend down to tie my own shoes. Pico has treated me over time and now I see him 2 times a week and have a painless neck.
You can be sure that he will help you — and do it with a sincere smile, while he may be singing along with Gladys Knight. His assistants are also very welcoming; it surely is a family. GO NOW!

If I could give Dr. Pico more than 5 stars I absolutely would. I have only been going to him for a month, but I feel better than I have in a very long time. His adjustments are not just the same routine every time (like other chiropractors I’ve gone to), but they are exactly what I need on that given day. What is most noticeable is that I have not been in pain after an adjustment, they have not been traumatic — each adjustment has been gentle and not more than what my spine/​muscles can handle. I walk out of each and every appointment feeling great, like I am really on the road to good health and a properly aligned spine. I also feel like a truly cared-​for patient, and like the health and well-​being of all the patients are what is most important to Dr. Pico. He answers any questions I have and I never feel rushed out of the office, though it can get very busy, of course, because this is a great chiropractor!
His staff members are wonderful, and I can definitely recommend the massage therapists. It’s a great office overall. His office hours are convenient too; I’ve been able to get early morning appointments before work or evening appointments for after work.
I’m SO grateful that I found Dr. Pico. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr. Pico is fabulous! Earlier this year I was experiencing chronic vertiginous migraines and suffering nearly DAILY from pounding headaches and extreme dizziness. I saw every kind of doctor and specialist imaginable, was put on several different medications and yet my issues persisted. I was specifically told by neurologists that chiropractic work wouldn’t help and could possibly even hurt. How wrong they were! After 3 months of constant pain and dizziness, I finally went to Dr. Pico (who had helped me in the past with back pain). He was the ONLY doctor who thoroughly examined me, talked to me at length about what I was experiencing and walked me through what we could hope to achieve over the next months. Now, 2 months later, I am a new person! Though we’re still working on lingering issues, I am migraine free, my dizziness has been greatly reduced and I feel healthier overall. As an active 30-​something who enjoys running, yoga and other fun things, feeling better was essential! My quality of life has increased dramatically thanks to Dr. Pico. I have tried other chiropractors in the past, but Dr. Pico is by far the most gentle and thoughtful. He’s truly talented and I cannot be more grateful for his healing hands!

One day at work I threw my back out and wasn’t able to stand. My husband told me to go to pico. Aside from me not being a huge fan of chiroptactors I went because I was desperate. I LOVED him! He took his time with me (unlike pretty much every other doctor in ny) and after just one appointment I was feeling better. And over a year later I look forward to my adjustments from the jolly friendly doctor pico! Thank God for doctors like him in New York.

Dr. Pico is amazing, I believe every one should go to a chiropractor at least once a month. I’ve only went to one every 5 years when I had a problem or injury.
When many doctor keep saying that I should have my hip bones shaves and possible a hip replacement in the future, Dr. Pico said to me, «I can fix you». From having a chronic pain on my left hip for over 5 years and getting worst and worst every day, losing hope, being in a bad mood, worry all the time, etc, Dr. Pico after 3 months of treatment got me better 90% and still my hip keeps getting better with his current chiropractor treatment. I feel that this is a miracle, because now I can walk, exercise and dance my Tango with out thinking of my pain.
He’s also noticed that I had problems in my neck and other parts of my skeleton and he’s treating those areas all at the same time with my hip with an amazing success!!!
He’s a very warm and funny/​happy guy, great office stuff and no much waiting to be attended and most of all, they are full of integrity.
His rates are very reasonable, I’ve got a bargain for his treatment and I’m very grateful for that.
I strongly recommend Dr. David Pico to anyone with or with out an skeleton problem, you’ll be surprise of how well you will feel after his Chiropractor’s treatment.

I was just referred to Dr David Pico yesterday and after meeting him today I am so pleased to say I found a new Chiropractor. I have been going to Chiropractors for over 25 years as part of overall health and maintenance. I have seen some doozeys when is comes to some chiropractors, so when I find a good one, I want to hold on to them. Dr David was incredibly personable and professional. His outlook on health and wellness is just that — an outlook on your health and wellness, and not the wellness of his bank account.
Definitely check him out and make him your Dr.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pico. This is an LGBTQ friendly office with a diverse clientele. The staff is always kind and engaged. Dr. Pico himself is warm, attentive, thoughtful and has a great sense of humor. I am part of about a 15-​person friend group who sees him regularly, and we all keep bringing in more of our friends and family.
Personally, I have very severely herniated disks that have limited my health for many years. I also suffer from pretty severe migraines. Dr. Pico has spoken at length with me about not only spinal health, but gym regimens, nutrition, relaxation techniques, and all kinds of self-​care.
The office itself is always clean and comfortable, with plenty of fun artwork (much of it by clients) on the walls to enjoy. There can be a bit of a wait, but I’m not taking off a star for it for two reasons: 1) it is such a lovely, non-​rushed atmosphere, and 2) they are so wonderful about taking walk-​ins and emergency appointments. For example, the other day I was in severe pain and concerned I would not be able to attend a friend’s wedding. Dr. Pico took me on an emergency basis about 10 minutes prior to his office closing. Yes, this kind of generosity may add a few minutes in the waiting room here and there, but who cares? When you need the extra attention, he goes the extra mile. Not only did I attend the wedding, but I was able to dance with my friends and make it to the after-​party. And Dr. Pico actually contacted me on his day off to see how I was doing! Doesn’t get any better than that.
Finally, Dr. Pico is wonderful about payment. When I needed 2 sessions a week and could not afford it, I was put on a monthly plan that made it possible. This is truly a guy who puts the health and well-​being of his patients ahead of anything else. Do not hesitate!
