I get that they serve Morningstar products but come on. There was nothing different about this than me heating up a veggie burger at my apartment and dropping it on a piece of lettuce to make a «burger salad.» I was very disappointed. It didn’t even seem grilled. Just a mushy microwaved patty. They can do better.

My boyfriend and I were quite skeptical about ordering from this «imaginary» spot up the block. No real marketing in the neighborhood, so we were totally taking a chance ordering through grub hub.
He calls and orders a ¼ lb veggie burger with garlic and Parmesan French fries. Lots of other options brought to our attention by calling the order in. The delivery came quick and food was pretty good. My boyfriend said the fries had good flavor, but the consistency was off. I thought otherwise, totally delicious. The burger was large and in charge.
Over all we suggest you try out Phony Burger and decide for yourself. Just try it!

Who knew that a new completely vegetarian burger joint opened up near by… and it’s delivery only, so don’t get up and head over there.
There are a few types of burgers: veggie, vegan, spicy black beans, sloppy joe, BBQ riblet and a ¼ pounder. Some are vegan and some are just vegetarian. There are some combos with a side and a drink (cole slaw, fries etc).
The black bean burger was quite delicious, though a bit small. However, with all of those toppings, it ends up being quite sizable meal. The sweet potato fries are the thinly sliced variety and were pretty good — though NO french fry can be measure by a delivery order, they’ll just never be crispy and fresh. No fault of Phony Burger on this one. The veggie patty (not vegan one) was pretty mediocre. Ill have to try one of the other ones next time.
The prices are pretty decent, though maybe a tad high. Delivery was quite quick. You can order through grubhub or their website.
