Been going here for around 3 years. He has the noveon laser(for those with onychomycosis) and is a great conversationalist. The office staff is great and always courteous. The hours are easy for me and my work schedule, what more can I say? Oh, the doc will do almost anything to make your visit great. He will treat you until you are cured, his promise and he hasn’t failed me yet. You should check him out if your feet are hurting.

Can you say that you had a lot of fun at the Doctor’s office? Because I really did. The receptionist was really friendly, the office clean and nice and Dr. Lazar was great. He was friendly, funny, very intelligent. About 3 minutes in, he was rattling off the issues that I was having, which muscles were the cause and how we can fix it. All in all, a true gem.

I really like Dr. Lazar and highly recommend him. He fixed me right up once when i was misdiagnosed with a torn ligament in my foot, and he has kept my running feet happy. He’s super friendly, and very personable. If looking for a foot doctor on the UES I recommend him.

While Dr Lazar was friendly, he gave a splint for my injury, which can be found online(or at CVS) for $ 30. After being charged $ 300+ to my insurance for the $ 30 item(which is apparently legal per my insurance rep, but was deemed as ‘not a great way of doing business’ by the rep and she confirmed the EXACTSAME item was online for $ 20, even) — I was then charged $ 125 for it!!! No X-Rays were taken — 1 mo later still had pain. Did not return. Save your $$ and find another doc!!! The staff after requesting a more detailed bill and about the overcharge on the $ 30 product was extremely rude. I am very disappointed with this practice. Plenty of other places to go in NYC that will not overcharge for an over-the-counter product.
