In some areas I liked their work, but in other areas I am disappointed. You really do get what you pay for I guess, and when i thought i had a deal on my hands since i was referred by my makeup artist and they are affiliates, i thought i found myself a great florist at a great price. but instead i now realize they make up the difference instead by giving me subpar flowers and smaller arrangements. but i wouldnt know this until the day of. the day i met them for consultation i pointed to their centerpiece they had at the expo that that is the one i want, and so they agreed and we mocked up a price list. i got both high and low arrangements. they only showed me a sample for the tall centerpiece. the sample was horrible. i couldnt sleep, so i emailed them of my dissatisfaction. it was too small and didnt scream centerpiece at all let alone a tall one. they happily made another sample «free of charge». but the second sample that used taller tree branches. were now extra charge. how convenient that i had cut down the number of tables (less centerpieces=less money) it now is supplemented by this new charge for taller branches that i should have had in the first place. it just boggles my mind a professional florist team would be ok with showing me what they showed me. i asked a couple of times, the low centerpiece was going to be big right? they assured me yes. The day of the wedding i saw the low ones, they were so tiny. it was horrible. they also charged me 500 for two ceremony flower stands, it looked beautiful actually. looked like the picture i gave them. and they said everything is for me to keep. so tell me why did the florists come back to the venue the next day to pick them up? i found out when i showed up at my venue to get them… i regret using them. they have some talent but i think more supervision is needed on them and a bride who is extremely vocal about it.

Promises! Promises! Promises!
Occasion9 promised us so much, but delivered nothing. In the end they just wanted to pay for services they did not deliver. I can go into detail but thinking about it makes my blood boil.
I suggest you not use their wedding planning services they promise you that you can save money with them…
I all they cost us more money and time.
Heed my words don’t use occasion9.
They promise you things they can’t deliver on and lie about their cancelation policy; saying their is no risk… Emily and her crew are full of lies.
Weddings can be stressful. Heck! It is stressful! Everyone is out to make a buck off you and they can’t wait to earn your business and overcharge you. Occasion9 is no different… they want to take as much money from you as possible.
I can promise you this… have faith in yourself…
You can do it better yourself and save a whole lot of money and headaches in the process.

Everyone knows that planning a wedding is hard. There are many things to think about and concerns to stress over but regarding flowers, I can easily say I was able to relax and not worry about because of Occasion 9. I reached out to Occasion 9 after seeing a friend’s wedding. As a bridesmaid, I got a close hand look at the bouquet and the centerpieces. The floral arrangements were gorgeous. Not only that, the floral arrangements were classy and exactly what the bride wanted. Working with them for my wedding, I was extremely happy to see how they really wanted to let a bride’s personality and wishes shine in the floral arrangements. From my first meeting with Jasmine, Emily and her team to the day of the wedding, they worked very hard to make sure they understood who I was and what kind of look I was looking to create. Knowing that I am a DIY person who likes all things crafty, they arranged to have me observe them personally design the mock centerpieces in person so that I can see the steps. I enjoyed the experience so much more because of this. Any questions or concerns I had I was free to email them. I never waited more than a day to get a response. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, meeting with Occasion 9 was something I looked forward to and not stress over. They talked over design aspects and helped create and bring my vision to life at a loft venue that had nothing in it. They had a hand creating the ceremony aisle, cocktail tables, altar flowers, centerpieces and even rented out unity candles. They’re also mindful of your budget and can work with you to keep to it. Occasion 9 also provides event planning and while I was already working with someone else, I would not hesitate to recommend them for the service based on my experience with Emily who is prompt, organized and knowledgeable. I only wish I could show the pictures of the floral arrangements so people can see how beautiful their work is but I hope you guys take my word for it!

Jasmine did a stunning job with the floral arrangements for my wedding. My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and my centerpieces were gorgeous and unique. The arrangements coordinated well with the venue and the bridal party dresses/​suits. She really works with your budget to make sure you get the most bang for your buck.
Emily was my day of wedding coordinator and I have no idea how I would’ve survived the day without her. We met a couple weeks before the wedding and she took care of all the details I would never have thought to address. She coordinates with the venue and vendors, she created a master schedule, she took care of little details that I didn’t need to be bothered with. The wedding day ran smoothly and my husband and I were able to relax and really enjoy every minute of the wedding day. I highly recommend her to all my friends and family. She was the best investment everrrrrr!

I am very grateful to have had Jasmine and Emily as florists for my wedding. They were helpful, supportive and professional since the beginning planning stages of my wedding to the day of my wedding.
I do not live in New York, so communication was either done via email or phone. Communicating through email or phone was key, and they were always responsive! They always received questions and suggestions warmly, and genuinely provided feedback regarding price, idea, and wedding preparations. I always knew I was in good hands!
They went above and beyond my expectations. My baker messed up the color scheme on my wedding cake by adding flowers that I did not ask for. I had no idea about this issue nor was it a problem for Jasmine and Emily. However, they willingly brought the problem to my attention and fixed the mistake that they didn’t make. If it wasn’t for their attention to detail, care and help I would have had a cake that probably would have stuck out like a sore thumb. Their thoughtfulness and concern not just for the flowers, but for the bride was evident.
Jasmine and Emily are truly gifted in what they do. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements were fresh, beautiful, and modern. Even though I had no idea about which flowers to use, Jasmine and Emily captured the romantic and vintage vibe that I had in my head with the flowers perfectly just by having a conversation about my wedding! In the end, everyone complimented me on flowers, but all credit is definitely due to Jasmine and Emily.
I am thankful I got to meet and work with such wonderful ladies who were not just florists, but a concerned and caring friend. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Occasion9 is a wedding/​event florist. It is run by a Korean lady and she does an absolutely amazing job. I highly recommend Occasion9 if you’re looking for a wedding or event florist. The prices are also very reasonable.
The only reason why I’m not giving 5 stars is because her English isn’t that great (though you should not have any communication issues), and she doesn’t respond timely. It can take 2 – 3 days for her to respond. I like to plan well in advance so I certainly did not have any issues, but not sure what would’ve happened if I needed to get in contact with her a day before my wedding.
