Sail NY Harbor for 4 hours on a classic sailboat for only $ 135 per person. Charter includes tasty sandwiches, fresh fruit, snacks, ice, water, and sodas. We depart and end at either Pier 25 in lower Manhattan or Jersey City, NJ — whichever is more convenient for you. Bring your own alcohol, plug in your own music to the excellent stereo, and just relax!

History

Established in 2012.

Narwhal Yacht Charters is the manifestation of my passion to share sailing with others.

It all started before I was born. My mom and dad lived on a sailboat for the first 6 years of their marriage and named her the Genesis because it was the beginning of their love for one another, as well as our family together.

I grew up sailing the Genesis with my family until I was 18, which was when we had to sell her due to my father’s passing. When I was 24, I bought my own sailboat, a fun Catalina 25, to get back on the water. I sailed that for 6 seasons and after sailing hundreds of my friends, realized I should be sharing my passion on a permanent basis.

That’s when I decided to start Narwhal Yacht Charters. I now live on one of the most beautiful ocean cruising sailboats ever built, the Tayana 37, and take people sailing for a living. The Tayana 37 a classic beauty, respectful of yesteryear. And she’s aptly named the Genesis to honor my parents, my siblings, and my new beginning.

I am a United States Coast Guard certified Master Captain who takes people sailing for a living and I could not be happier. I left my secure corporate job to pursue my dream of sharing sailing with others and started this company to do just that. I’ve been sailing since in the womb of my mother and will sail for the rest of my life!
