History

Established in 2004.

SailTime New York was one of the original SailTime locations. Started with one boat, the fleet is now 8, including both sail and power vessels.

Harmonic Seas began as Keith Cooper’s sailing crew in New York and sailed on many adventures including Long Island Sound, New York Harbor, the Caribbean, and even racing in China.

In 2011, Harmonic Seas became an LLC and acquired SailTime New York and continues to manage the base in Chelsea Piers, Manhattan.

The instantly recognizable Sea Shell tiki boat serves as the local office.

Sailing and teaching on the Hudson River and NY Harbor in the shadow of Lady Liberty is sublime; I enjoy the serenity of sailing these historic waters and being able to have a sense of peace that’s otherwise difficult to find in bustling Manhattan.
