Naomi Azulay Before the Fall

I had hoped the (literal) pain in my neck would improve on its own, but it was getting worse. By the time I saw Naomi, I was practically afraid to move.
Naomi examined me thoroughly and patiently explained what the problem was, answering all my questions. She’s a calm and intelligent presence, she’s easy to talk to, and she really knows her stuff. She asked a lot of questions and worked out a plan to get me back on track.
The therapies she used (massage, laser, electric stimulation) were comprehensive, but Naomi really shines as a teacher. She created a gentle series of exercises, and she was relentlessly encouraging through my ups and downs. I actually looked forward to going to her warm and serene office every week. Eight weeks later, I feel great. The pain is gone, my neck regained its function and flexibility, and (best of all) I’ve developed better habits so this won’t happen again.
I appreciated how generous Naomi was with her advice, even when my questions had nothing to do with the immediate problem. She was happy to make suggestions about miscellaneous aches and pain. And she was the first health care professional ever to notice that one of my legs was longer than the other – and to suggest a simple treatment for it!
Naomi sees all kinds of patients, but she has carved out a specialty in treating balance problems, a business called «Before the Fall.» My mother is part of this program, so although I can’t comment on it personally, I can say that anyone with balance issues (due to illness or age) should give Naomi a call. My mom’s turnaround has been nothing short of miraculous. Not only is she stronger and better able to navigate city life, she is so much more confident.
