I love going here every Christmas season and I always end up finding something I just can’t live without! Try to go early before the crowd arrives because the shop is tiny and packed to the brim with old and new goodies that you might miss once it gets busy. You may at first think it’s a bit overpriced but you have to remember that many of these pieces are one of a kind and not readily available anywhere else. The tiny hand-​painted pewter ornament I purchased was nearly half the price of what a similar piece was selling for on an online store! The staff is lovely, the shop is lovely, and the product is unusual and unique. Bet once you’ve visited this shop you’ll end up being a regular!

My go-​to place for Christmas ornaments and special gifts! One of the last remaining Mom and Pop stores on the UWS. There are always beautiful, unusual gifts abundantly displayed in this whimsical store. The owner, Steve, has wonderful taste and it shows in his offerings. I don’t necessarily agree with some of the other reviews that consider it to be all that overpriced~ If you’re comparison shopping for ornaments, I’d say that the prices here are very competitive (Gracious Home charges just as much and the selection is not even close). There are also plenty of cute, eclectic gifts you can buy for the bargain conscious. (Where else can you get a scotch tape dispenser in the form of a frog for $ 15.50? ;-). This store never disappoints and the owner and the other people who work there are lovely as well. Recommended!

My husband and I stumbled upon this little store during our honeymoon during the holiday’s in 2008. It was such a pleasant, magical experience. The shop was so charmingly decorated and filled with so many amazing little trinkets. My husband and I were charmed, absolutely charmed. The owner and his wife were also extremely nice and added to the cozy ambiance of the store. We snagged a couple of unique ornaments that night for a great price.
We’re returning to the city in a few weeks and this is a must stop for us. It was a shame that the first time we found it, it was our last night in the city. It’s the kind of place that you want to pop into regularly.
More & More is probably the one shop, in my entire life, that has left a lasting impression on me.

My parents bought me the most incredible snow globe from More & More, so I had to check it out myself. The store is incredible, stocked with so many things that I would love to fill my tiny apartment with. It feels so quaint and intimate when you shop here, but other than special occasions, this is definitely not a place I can regularly treat myself to.

The place is full of whimsical, beautifully arranged, eye popping knick knacks during the Christmas holiday. Not exactly an antique shop: they sell a lot of beautiful things made recently in China, such as all the victorian inspired Xmas glass ornaments, and 99% of the Christmas stuff (The day I visited the store was my B’day, so I treated myself and purchased a $ 12 glass ornament shaped like a hen). The cheer amount of sparkly, colorful stuff is mesmerizing and worth a visit. However, do not expect to find a bargain, the store is very, very expensive.

I visited this charming shop for the first time this past weekend, and it’s really delightful. I dare you to emerge from there not in full holiday spirit. The number of Christmas ornaments is astounding – and if you’re looking for unique New York ornaments, this is your place (my favorite was the black-​and-​white cookie ornament).
This little store just feels like the Upper West Side should, ya know? I’ll definitely be returning soon. I bought my dog some lovely Christmas gifts there last weekend. Maybe I should go back to buy the humans in my life something, too …

This is one of my favorites – for unusual and unique small gifts for birthdays, christmas, special occasions and holidays – or for more important gifts, for weddings and the like. The owner and his staff are very knowledgeable, and entertaining. Check out their window displays at holidays-​just beautiful!

I like poking around this place-​this guy stocks truly unique little gift items; soaps, sachets, teacups, stuff that you see everywhere but not quite like this. Nooo bargains, for sure. But it’s eclectic enough to warrant some form of purchasing, even in the form of unique wrapping paper.

The owner has exquisite taste and pushes his prices as high as the market will bear. There are no bargains here.
