Incredibly helpful and nice. I had a ‘dress crisis’ — they steamed it without charging me and were super nice.

This place made my day today! I just picked up a white Burberry jacket from Mme Eleanor’s that another dry cleaner completely jacked up and stained a horrendous shade of yellow. I had already taken my jacket to a few other cleaners who said it would be «impossible to fix» so I was already assuming it was a lost cause (;(). MMe Eleanor’s tried multiple ways of cleaning the jacket in order to get the yellow out and to my surprise (even though they undersold what a good job they did) they were able to get it 95% back to normal. Completely surpassed my expectations since this wasn’t just an ordinary stain (think of when you accidentally bleach your clothing– it was THAT bad).
MMe Eleanor’s= your destination for your favorite pieces of clothing!
A dry cleaners as good as this is only possible if 1) the people running it know what they’re doing 2) they actually care about providing excellent service. I am thoroughly impressed with everything they’ve done!

This family business cleaners is operated by two of the nicest brothers. I moved to midtown east 4 years ago and took 4 cleaners to finally find them.
PROS: they are honest, will let you know what they can and cannot do but most importantly they actually get stains out! They actually clean it there unlike many who ship it out. Once I had a 50 and just did my shirt gratis. Free drop-​off
Con: Cash only and might be more than few other cleaners but worth it considering they do a fantastic job.
Don’t waste your time or money or the moderate cleaners.

We love Madame Eleanor’s! They always do an excellent job and are able to do rush orders that most Manhattan shops can’t do because they do all their work on the premises. They are always very courteous and professional — highly recommend this local, family-​owned business!

They are a wonderful family run place, friendly but let’s get to the point. They clean my clothes and I’ve never been disappointed. I have delivery service and clothes are delivered promptly. Once, (it can happen) they lost a set of draperies. Their check book came immediately out to pay for the drapes, no questions asked. There’s no other place I’d trust with my clothing.

There are not enough words that I can use to describe how fantastic this dry cleaner is. I took them a white (very expensive) designer dress that had been damaged by ANOTHER dry cleaner right down the street on 1^st Ave and 52^nd street. Mme. Eleanor’s salvaged my dress! If you have any items that you want to keep for the longterm, this is the right place to take them. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the workmanship and customer service at Mme’s. Don’t risk taking your nice clothing, which you work hard to purchase, to any corner dry cleaner. As I learned, they will ruin your garments and push you out of the store when you try to deal with the issue. From now on all of my clothing will be taken to Mme. Eleanor’s.

They charged me $ 25 to attach a pair of straps (simple black satin cord I provided myself) to a strapless dress. This must have taken 2 – 5 minutes of labor. They did a fine job but the price was outrageous! Will not go back.

Nice family run place.
A little more expensive than other places, however they do better work than your average dry cleaner in the neighborhood.

I’m not sure exactly what dry cleaning entails, but this family run business is reliable, professional, and reasonably quick. I use them for all my cleaning and tailoring, and I have not had any unresolvable problems.
