AWFUL! It’s been sometime since I’ve been able to get out and ride my bike, so I took it for a spin and found that my chain was rubbing against the dérailleur. I found this place in haste and didn’t check to see any reviews they had (and now that I see that I’m the only one, I can see why they’re shotty). So I figured I’d come here to get my bike tuned up b/​c I found a groupon which was only $ 29 for a $ 75 tune up. I should have figured it would have been a quick and worthless job. I dropped off my bike as it was closing and they said come back tomorrow and pick it up. The following day I picked it up, (actually it was my wife, while I sat in the car, b/​c the bike shop had rushed me to get it due to the fact they stated they had no room to hold it for another day).
So, I wasn’t able to speak to the mechanic myself and test the gears but the mechanic said he tuned the brakes, derailleurs, oil up the chain, checked tire tread and my gears.
Well, today a week after I got it tuned, I was finally able to get out and take it for a spin. Excited, I found my chain still rubs against my dérailleur and my tire is either over inflated or not trued (b/​c it wobbles).
I thought I got a good deal when in fact, all they seemingly did was wash my bike to make it look cleaner than it was when I dropped it off. DON’T GO to these guys. They will rip you off and provide shotty service to you and your bike. Now, I will have to take it to another bike shop to get it tuned up and ready for the Spring season. Waste of my time and money.
My lesson here is: do you due diligence, find out info on the place and read reviews first. Spend the extra $ 30 or so and get it done right. I should have!
