I recently rented an apartment through Michael, and I couldn’t ask for a better experience! From the start, he was very friendly and helpful– called before our first appointment to confirm the details, came prepared with all of the information I would need, and took his time showing me the place and talking it over with me afterward. Unlike many other brokers I’ve met with in the past, he didn’t rush me in and out of the apartment, and he certainly didn’t put any pressure on me to make an immediate or uninformed decision. Rather than push me to take a rental that wasn’t right for me, I felt that he really cared about what I was looking for, no matter how specific it was.
While other brokers tend to call you up constantly and persuade you to go look at all of their listings, Michael narrowed the search down based on what I had asked for, and was happy to work around my schedule. He was also knowledgeable about the area and the general price range of other rentals on the market, which is always helpful when you’re comparing apartments and trying to chose the right one. When I decided to put a deposit down on an apartment he had shown me, I was confident that I was making the right decision.
Michael was also very helpful throughout the rest of the process– he made it clear what would be needed in order to be approved for the apartment and moved everything along as quickly as possible. He put in a good word with the landlord and presented a strong case for me as a potential tenant, which was MUCH appreciated, since waiting for a decision can definitely be nerve-​racking! Once approved, he went over the lease with me and made sure to address all of my specific questions and concerns, even if it meant getting in touch with the landlord to make sure that we were on the same page. It was clear that Michael cared about making my move as easy and stress-​free as possible.
After having some not-​so-​pleasant experiences with brokers in the past, I would definitely recommend working with Michael! Moving can be quite overwhelming, and when you’re looking for a new place to call home, it definitely helps to have someone who listens and is looking out for your best interests.
