History
Established in 1920.
Established in 1920, the building at 589 11th Avenue has been the local pub for New York City’s longshoremen for nearly 100 years. Since 1995, McQuaids has maintained the bar’s legacy as the go-to watering hole for longshoremen, local blue collar workers, residents and visitors to the Hell’s Kitchen area.
