Luis recently helped us in our search for an apartment in Forest Hills. He was responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with. He listened to what we were looking for and showed us only apartments that fit our requirements. He maintained great communication and went out of his way to assist us in our search for a new home. I highly recommend him.

Luis is the best! He is very responsible and RESOURCEFUL. He has a very good relationship with many management companies and supers in buildings. Due to tight timeline, I had been a little aggressive and pushy to Luis, but he had been very patient and responded very efficiently. Luis was also very considerate and really wanted to help. Highly recommended!

I recently used Luis to rent my studio in Forest Hills. As a first-​time renter, I needed someone knowledgable and patient. Luis was both. He answered my (many) questions about the process and made the paperwork a breeze. Perhaps most impressive was the fact that he was available to pick paperwork up from my job (as I could not leave my place of work) not once but TWICE. That dedication made an otherwise possibly stressful situation a breeze.
In addition, I have not seen a listing since with a price as affordable for as beautiful of an apartment since I’ve moved. I’m grateful for the find!
Please note that the broker fee was about 10% which is less than Manhattan but still expensive for Queens. Other than this, I was nothing but thrilled with the service provided. I am surprised by the 1-​star review below considering Luis met my schedule and was willing to be flexible. Don’t let the unusual experience below deter you!

Luis helped my family find a great apartment in Forest Hills and helped get our (rather large) dog approved by the management company. He was super helpful, responsive, and answered all of our questions quickly. We are super happy with our apartment, building, and would definitely use Luis again if we ever decide to move!

Found a posting on Craigslist regarding a 2 BR, 1 BA that was available in Forest Hills by Luis Briones and called a few times with no answer. I kept on leaving voice messages. Eventually I got through in the evening and tried to set up an appointment with him. He said he was showing the apartment to another couple right now and can’t talk but I can come tomorrow morning, but with work I asked if I could swing by right now with my baby to see the apartment. He said okay and I said we will be there in 10 minutes or less. I immediately left my apartment with the baby got in the car got there found parking and called him. No answer. Text him, no answer. Waited outside the building for 10 minutes and called again. Then texted again. Nothing. A nice couple let us inside because my baby was getting fussy. We walked around the lobby and waited some more. Finally I decided to leave because it was over an hour later and he calls back to say he forgot about us. What!!! forgot about us?!! can you believe this guy. How unprofessional. He asked if we still need to see the place and told me about his fees (10% of annual rental cost) which was more than some other local brokers I have been speaking with. No thank you! The place was roach infested and a lot older than the pictures he posted. Photos were most likely 3 or 4 years ago. Don’t waste your time with this guy.
