Came here because I had a coupon($ 25 off $ 35 or more), and I’m glad I had this coupon, otherwise I think it’s overpriced here. They bring out the typical bread and olive oil. They also bring out fried green olives, which were fresh out of the fryer and piping hot. Interesting concept and definitely tasty if you’re an olive lover. Started off with the scallops appetizer, which were good, good sized portion(about 5 – 6 scallops) atop a bed of lentils. I had the bigoli lamb ragu pasta dish. The homemade pasta was a little undercooked, but I suppose it’s better than being over cooked. The lamb ragu itself was quite tasty. Bf had the ribeye, which was huge! He said it wasn’t seasoned enough, but it was cooked medium rare, as requested. All this with a glass of wine and beer would’ve cost us $ 70, but with our certificate it was about $ 45. I probably won’t be coming back here only because I didn’t find anything spectacular about it.

Came to Luca for a pseudo celebratory dinner. The restaurant is tiny and super busy, I would seriously recommend making reservations even for tables of two. The service is great other than the fact that by the luck of the draw our server was a skinnier, balder more mousey version of Quentin Tarantino without the witty dialogue. I had the Pumpkin Ravioli which was a special for the night, but everyone else at the table had regular menu affair and I must say that everything was absolutely delicious. Desserts I tried were the Chocolate Mousse, Tiramisu, and Sponge Cake. All which were great. Chef Luca’s creations are certainly to die for, although the portion to price ratio is just a little questionable.

I took my parents out for a combined birthday dinner to Luca on Sunday night and everything was FANTASTIC. The salads are huge and really well balanced — I had the one with fontina cheese, mushrooms and apples over greens. Unbelievable. Everyone’s main couse was fabulous too. I had granita for dessert which left a bit to be desired, but it took nothing away from the overall experience. The ambiance is cute too — large very ‘festive’(god, I can’t believe I just used that word — ugh) vegetable lamp coverings which were cracking us all up trying to figure out which was which. I’ll definitely be back. And I doubt I’ll wait for another occasion.
