I’ve been getting my brows done at Lilibeth by Mary for years. My skin is super sensitive and can’t handle waxing so I prefer to have my brows shaped by plucking and Mary does a fantastic job every time. I especially like how they take the time to show you how to get the perfect shape so you can maintain your brows better in between appointments. The staff is super welcoming and accommodating and I’ve also become a big fan of the makeup they sell. If you’re looking a new brow expert you can find her at Lilibeth.

so here’s the deal. This place doesn’t look anything like the pictures on here basically its a dump, hole in the wall… looks like a temporary space. Meri was 10 minuets late to my appointment. I usually like to lay down and relax when they do brows, however they have you sit in a chair. No Stencil but she mapped by brows perfectly and kept talking talking talking… I just wanted some quiet. He tweezed only small amount then used this shaving instrument. At first I though it was great but after a few days it was growing back, if she would have tweezed everything this wouldn’t have happened. also they really really push their products and force you to make another appointment. the best was when I checked out they didn’t take CC and the cash draw wouldn’t open and the 3 girls couldn’t figure out how to give me change. All in all idk if I will go back its nothing special that’s for sure and for $ 29 I think I could have a nicer experience at another place.

best eyebrows place i found so far in the city! and considering how risky it can be to experiment with your eyebrows! One time i went to a celebrity eyebrow specialist at $ 80 price! and guess what? she destroyed my eyebrows, took me a year to recover!
long story short, I found this place and i love it, cause they preserve your eyebrows! :) price? well, it’s a pricey:(it’s not super expensive, but pricey… plus the location? well a little far from everything! (unless you live or work near columbus circle). I wish they had another location someplace either central midtown or east side…

Violeta did an amazing job on my eyebrows. I never have my brows touched by a professional but with my wedding coming up, I thought it might be time to get some help. I wanted to have my natural shape assessed and VIoleta did just that. Sure she used makeup but it was actually really educational for me to watch her process and to see what shape she is working toward. No, you would not have to put the makeup on every day, but its a way to show you what you should be growing in and what you should be tweezing. I left with free tools and a guide to maintain my shape… she not only made my brows look absolutely perfect but I left feeling like I could do this on myself in the future! Still, I’ll be back. it was great!

Absolutely love this place and all the ladies that work there! I am meticulous about my eyebrows and Mary made them even better than they already were! They’re so fun and welcoming and do an amazing job. They also show you how to color in your eyebrows if you choose and give you the tools to do it your self. Love Love Love Lillibeth!

Finally! I love love love Senada! She does an amazing job. My eyebrows are a little weird in the sense that they don’t grow in some areas that I hate to do so much waxing, so when I went in she made me feel so comfortable telling me she will make me love my eyebrows.
There is no waxing only shaping and tweezing. I cannot speak enough about her process. She shows you step by step how to get the perfect eyebrow, and at the end will show you all the products she used for you to purchase. There is NO PRESSURE at all from Senada, however at the end of the day you need these products to achieve the brow anyway.
I can now say that aside from my mascara that these are my favorite makeup products that I use almost every day. I have received SOOO many compliments on my eyebrows (that I can now achieve myself) since going to Senada that I go to see her every month or so for her to clean them up (she still does them better than me lol).
I really do swear by Lilibeth Brows and Senada that I tell everyone about her when they ask me what I’m doing different. Thanks Senada!!!

Saida IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! not only is her work amazing but her worth ethic and professionalize is amazing. I can’t talk enough about her. She gave me the eyebrows of my dreams. I’ve been everywhere — threading, waxing and even paid up to $ 100 to get the perfect brow and no one was able to accomplish this and give me eyebrows I’ve only dreamed of.

If you are an eyebrow freak and ocd about your brows (like me) please let them know, if not they will take it upon themselves to give you the shape they think is best. I really wanted to like this place, its set up quite nicely. She did go step by step in saying what she was doing, maybe i should’ve been more specific about what i wanted. I wont be going back.

I will never go back. I went in thinking I had made a waxing appointment, but upon arrival, found out that their licensed aestheticians do not wax. I was convinced to sit down and hear about their tweezing process, and to give it a shot since it was only $ 29. Sure, I needed my eyebrows to be cleaned up, I’ll give it a shot.
Then she started putting makeup on my eyebrows to give herself a guideline for my brow shape. No, I told her, I like my eyebrows, and I don’t want them to be filled in or changed. She applied concealer where she would remove hair. I told her to take off the makeup, as it was a false representation of what it would look like tomorrow, which was much more important to me.
She removed the makeup.
Then she SHAVED the upper portion of my eyebrow without warning. I found this to be a violation of the agreement to try out their «tweezing process» and was very very upset. She told me that since I was so upset, she wouldn’t charge me, but we agreed that she should go ahead and do the other eyebrow.
I like my natural shape and I was very F’ing clear about that, but now my brows are thinner and have a higher arch because that is what she deemed appropriate despite my just wanting to be cleaned up.
On top of it, she didn’t do a very good job of taking out the little tiny hairs that are just visible on the surface. I borrowed her tweezers at the end and took a few out, and then removed a few more after I got home.
I feel violated, upset, and misled. The sales lady was very kind and did the best she could to make me «happy» before I left, but this is NOT the service for me.

I love this place because of plenty of reasons. First I didn’t even realize how much your eyebrows affect your appearance. This is the number one thing I learned during my visit here. I usually get my eyebrows waxed or threaded but because what I learned from here I refuse to go any other route. Mary the owner, taught me how to pluck my eyebrows then how to fill them. She also introduced my some amazing skin care products that works amazing. Here, not only will you get friendly class A service but a great beauty lesson. This place goes above and beyond for their customers. A very relaxing atmosphere. Come in on time because they are packed. They usually take about 30 mins per appointment. At the end of session you always get to keep your razor used on your eyebrows.

Saida was amazing. I made a last minute appointment to come in and she was so informative and thorough with me. My brows were pretty unruly (thank you, bangs for doing a wonderful job of hiding the scruffiness) and she did a step by step explanation of how to properly shape and shade and highlight the brow. She used this razor/​scraper/​tool thing that was fantastic and really finished off the shape that you can’t get by just tweezing and trimming. I had my brows done almost a week ago and she did such a great job shaping them that they look fine without being filled in and highlighted. Totally worth the cost and the trek into the city for me. The receptionist was helpful and sweet too. And I love that each time you have a shaping appointment, you get a new shaping tool.

I had my first professional eyebrow shaping done by Senada today and I was blown away. She was very kind and slow in teaching me her techniques for shaping, grooming and filling my brows. She had me hold a mirror to my face so I could watch what she was doing from any angle and reminded me to use it if I put it down. She introduced me to all of their products and used them on me but never pressured me to buy anything, and I’m a pretty big sucker! I was really pleased with the results. I’ve never had waxing or threading because I can’t see the process and tell the stylist what I like or don’t like along the way. I would keep my brows a little more full on top near my nose, but now that I know her style, I will mention it for next time. She even touched up all of my makeup for me at the end. A great experience, highly recommended.

Excellent work. Sit back and trust not only that your eyebrows won’t be ruined, as they will be at so many other places in this city, but that you just might walk away with the brows of your dreams.
Kudos for the brow shaping lesson, the good conversation, and the transformation of my eyebrows – mauled from a recent threading – into photogenically perfect, symmetrical arches. This is the one place in the city where I would go to not only maintain my brows, but to get brows that bring out my best features. With that in mind, it’s well worth it to put up with them trying to sell you their brow-​shaping kit and (in my case) trying to get me to switch my foundation;) This is worth paying $ 29, any day, over a crappy $ 10 job.

Came in on two BuyWithMe vouchers, one for a brow or lash tint and one for a brow shaping. At that, it was overpriced.
Like other reviewers here, I was pressured to buy products from about 10 minutes into the appointment to the very end. The shaping was a joke — they have one fixed idea about the perfect brow and your brows will be shaved and painted into that shape regardless of whether it actually suits your face, hairstyle and age. If you’ve got good strong features and don’t mind a touch of Joan Crawford /​Brighton Beach, go for it. The rest of us may want more customized attention.
The staff do attempt to educate you while doing your brows: how to measure, how to find the beginning, peak and end points, how to fill in. The brow tint chosen for me worked well even though there again is no customizing — it’s black, brown, auburn or blonde. So, two stars for that. But bottom line, there are YouTube primers on how to make the perfect brow that do just as well, without the sales pitch.

Had an eyelash tint here. Turned out very well. For that I would give 4, even 5 stars.
However, beware (and for this I’d give them 1 star and be done): you’re going to be hit up to try out and buy their products. I felt like I was at a Mary Kay or Avon, or a timeshare meeting. They’ve got their own cosmetics line, and they’re PUSHING it HARD. I could hear it being pressed on the girl next to me, and then it started on me. I was concentrating hard to keep my eyes from fluttering while the color (and my eyeballs) dried, and the talk was making it very hard, which = very painful. Just when I thought it would wind down, she’d find a new product or procedure to push. I finally had to ask her to stop. I go to spas and salons to relax. Not «get pumped» about $ 30 eye shadow.
On the whole, it’s incredibly overpriced, too. They really wanted me to try their $ 39 brow shaping — which, BEWARE, is done largely with a generic-​looking RAZOR… they call it their signature «brow shaping tool» — but I thought the shape of brow that the stylists were sporting was rather hideous. Not natural — very angular, almost an «up» then «down» shape, if you know what I mean. Ok, I guess, if you like that kind of thing.
I’ll have to steer clear from now on. Don’t want to be advertised to throughout a should-​be-​relaxing procedure. Just can’t stand that kind of experience.

I used to really like this place but it became too inconsistent. It’s hard to stick to having one person doing your brows (which should be the case so your brows get used to a style) because everytime I went there was a different staff member there. I don’t know if they have turnover issues or constantly rotate staff between stores.
I had one particular experience with someone that did a horrible job with my brows — not only did she style them poorly, after a few days there was all this growth! I think the problem stemmed from her talking to much about her personal business. I also take issue with the fact that they insist on using the brow shaper. I haven’t been there in six months or so because I was sick of having to spenf $ 4 on brow shapers everytime I went because I forgot to bring mine. Even when I insisted that I don’t care for it because I don’t think it’s particularly usefeul, they said they had to use it — yeah, so that they can charge me for it.

I really love the job they do on my eyebrows. My brows have look spectacular every single time I’ve gone.
However, make sure you’re not in any rush when you come for your brows because since this company is small and fairly new with minimal staff, your eyebrow gal will constantly be interrupted by phone or by walk-​ins with questions about products, prices, etc… so it’s kind of a pain to sit and wait while she explains.
So that’s the only complaint, and I hope with time they’ll remedy this. They do have a bigger second location downtown in the financial district but I’ve not gone there because the one on Broadway is closest to me. Try them.
