I don’t get it, whyyy do I subject myself to Lenny’s at 30 Rockefeller? Oh, I remember now. Being a Midwest girl, a grew up loving Jimmy John’s and I crave a good sandwich. Lenny’s is not that place, but every once in awhile I give Lenny’s another shot and every time I am disappointed yet again. Service: What a clusterf***. Who puts an order line and pay line right at the doorway? Oh I know, a smart marketing plan that says«hey, there are a lot of people here so come in too!» All it does is cause congestion right at the doorway. Then, when people are waiting around, they crowd the chips & drinks & other people. Food: The breaded cutlet sandwiches just don’t do it for me. There is too much bread, and the«hot» sandwiches aren’t actually hot. I would say the middle of the sandwich is good but ends don’t have lettuce, chicken, or buffalo sauce. I can only hope the cold sandwiches are better. Overall: Go to Potbelly’s on the other side of the floor. Still just as busy, but at least it is organized and has hot/toasted sandwiches.

Worst Lenny’s in NYC, hands down. Tiny, crowded, cashiers screaming. Rude employees. And they are always out of all bread except for white bread. Dumb.

Lenny’s is like a used 8 year old Honda Accord of lunchtime options. — It’s pretty dependable. You know what you’re going to get. — it’s not terribly expensive — it won’t wow you The main knock is that this location is pretty hectic given its small size + large amount of workers flocking here at lunch. It moves pretty quickly, but expect a bit of a wait if the weather outside is cold/rainy. 3 stars. Definitely try the meatball sandwich — the basil is a nice touch.

I have been here a bunch of times. Lines tend to move somewhat fast. Food is ok, lunch tends to be better than breakfast. However, a few food fails include– eggshell in my breakfast sandwich and a moldy fruit salad. Each time they refunded my money. THEYRINGYOUUPFOREXTRABUTTERWITHOUTTELLINGYOU! But I don’t think I will go back based on the latest incident. The last few times when I asked for a bagel with butter, It was the thinnest spread of butter– barely visible to the naked eye. When I then asked for a «normal» amount they said I would be charged more for extra butter. I said«no I am not asking for extra butter, just a normal amount». But when I looked at my receipt she had charged me the extra amount anyways. When I asked for the refund, the«Manager» pretended to refund it back to my credit card and when I questioned why the receipt didn’t show a refund, all she handed me was a duplicate copy of my receipt. She said with a smirk that I will definitely see it credited back to my credit card. It NEVER happened. EGGSHELLINBREAKFASTSANDWICH MOLDYFRUITSALAD CASHIERSWHOGIVEWRONGCHANGEORCHARGEYOUFOREXTRABUTTERWITHOUTTELLINGYOU So if you like eggshell in your breakfast sandwich, moldy fruit salads or a buttered bagel with basically no butter, by all means go here. But since there are lots of other options at Rock Center, I think I will choose them instead.

It’s nice to know that there’s a quick and easy place to get a quick eat where the food is fresh and clean & the create your salad just the way you want it. It’s priced well, that is for NYC. It’s a quick walk & it opens early and closes late.

Maybe it’s because I’m from California that I was so impressed with the food and prices here. I enjoyed every bite and the service was quick.

The only one I have been to is this one even though it is a fairly large chain. The layout of the restaurant is very awkward with the ordering in the back and the paying in the front. On busy days, it causes chaos. Also there is no seating inside the restaurant so be prepared to carry it and find a sit elsewhere. The food is pretty good however. The types of bread range in size and thus also in price. This way you don’t have to pay a fortune for a huge sandwich when you only eat half of it. The buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite so far.

This is madness — and this is Lenny’s. Lenny’s is a local sandwich chain with fresh quality ingredients, a huge range of options, and speedy brusque service. This location is pretty small so the process can be nightmarish for those uninitiated to the Midtown Lunch Rush. The ordering counter is in the back center, while you pay in the front left. Then you have this hoarde of waiting caffiene addicts impatiently lurking around the place for their number to be called(assuming you can hear it) before bolting up to the counter as if they were stalking gazelle. Compared to other options in the area, Lenny’s is a good sandwich at an okay price point. The convenience of being the the Rock Center concourse is the biggest selling point, as long as you come early or like body surfing. At least you get big portions?

Lenny’s is a great place to find a variety of sandwiches. The sandwiches are packed with fresh meat, veggies, and you can pick your bread/wrap options. The flavors blended well together. The service was relatively fast being it was at 30 Rock. Great value and a hidden gem in NYC!

H&H Bagels? Great! If they were actually fresh that is… It was stale and cold. I believe it’s what people call a «fib» when it states on the menu that they are delivered fresh every day. I also don’t understand why it costs an extra $ 0.50 to toast the bagel(which is not stated on the menu, but I watched them ring it up on the register). I’ve had their other breakfast sandwiches before and they’re okay, but not great. There are a few workers there that are pretty rude. I asked for ketchup one time and they gave me one packet! Really? Although it’s convenient, I’m not a fan of their food or service.

This place is a nightmare, the music is so loud it’s a miracle they can hear your order. They should turn that down a bit and the line configuration is a mess as well, you never know who is waiting to order and whi just waiting for their food, get some ropes or something to get things organized. I haven’t been in in a while because it’s just such a long wait but this morning I got an egg white sandwich and there were shells in the sandwich, totally gross. I won’t be going again since there are so many other options in the concourse.

Surprise surprise. Walk by here all the time, but under extreme 1300+ review Unilocal pressure, I needed to find something new. Although from the outside you might guess it’s all deli meat type sandwiches, there is *ONE* on the All-Time Favorites list, #11 that is friendly to herbivores. That fine creation is stuffed with avocado, lettuce, carrot, cucumber, sprouts, tomato, cabbage and a bit of honey mustard all sandwiched between a couple slices of 7-grain. A very nice quick snack when you’re in a rush and looking for a little bit of tummy relief.

Lenny’s around the city are always very busy and crowded. Multiply that by 10 considering this one is on the concourse at Rockefeller Plaza. Forget if you arrive there after 12pm. Be prepared to wait. What are you waiting for exactly… Somewhat overpriced sandwiches and slow, incompetent service. The line configuration is even a bit of a mess in here, and there is little to no room to wait. You always feel like you are in someones way. The sandwiches are the same as any other Lenny’s. However they utilize a computerized ordering system that should greatly decrease the amount of mistakes made on orders. Of all the Lenny’s I’ve been to in the city… this crew have gotten my order wrong the most. I like the grilled roast beef sandwiches the most, and they have some decent variations on the classic ‘Italian.‘ There coffee always tastes burnt which is a bummer because their breakfast sandwiches are great. My suggestion… get your coffee at the ABP, Dunkin Donuts, or Starbucks also located on the concourse. Stick to ordering the sandwich here.

Outside of a few classic NY deli places more downtown(i.e. Eisenberg’s), this place has by far the best sandwiches in all of the food desert that is midtown. Their line system is one of the best too, over comparable places in the area… so not sure where other people writing these reviews are going to complain about Lenny’s. However, if pre-made sandwiches are not your style and you’d gladly pay an extra buck of two for quality(where your stomach won’t be growling by 3:30…), Lenny’s is your place.

Really good, fresh sandwiches, but sometimes the wait is a bit lengthy and it is a bit overpriced for lunch. Emma’s Combo is probably my favorite sandwich ever, so sometimes it’s worth the wait and the price.

As usual, this place is packed during lunch hours but they have a fair decent selection of sandwiches from heros to wraps. However, I do have to say the menu is a bit hard to read because there’s so much to choose from. Either way, their sandwiches are better than your average deli or Subway sandwiches. I ordered a chicken salad spinach wrap and they overloaded it with lots of chicken, lettuce and bacon(!!). Nonetheless, it was a bit pricey for a wrap($ 9.00).

Not that the food is bad at all… I mean because if you go to Lenny’s then you are going because of a good sandwhich. Hello, there isn’t any other reason to go to Lenny’s? Its all sandwhiches! I’ve always gone to the one on 48th street and when I heard they were opening one in the concourse level of 30 Rock I thought two things… an incubator for germs and a trap for claustrophobics! Take your pick… I was right on both of them! Now if you’re like me and you like the 48th street Lenny’s the only reason you are going to go to the one in 30 Rock is because: A) You’re lazy B) You’re sick and don’t want to go out in the cold C) Its raining. Outside of these 3… there is no reason to come here. Sandwhiches are the same… but its way too crowded in here. Chances are you wil lget stepped on in here… so don;t come in with those expensive kicks. and definitely don’t come in here if you just got your shoes shined!
