I have no idea why someone uploaded restaurant pictures but rest assured you will not find those items at a Crabtree. My heart hurts for Crabtree and Evelyn…{{sniffle}} :’(I managed a store in Baltimore(Inner Harbor) about 30 years ago and that place was HOPPING… the quality of the products couldn’t be touched by the likes of Bath and Body Works and stores of a similar caliber. The norm for the Baltimore stores where hand blown atomizers, pretty delicate powder compacts, boar’s head brushes, hand polish beef tallow soap, lotions and potions for the discriminating woman. Baskets of all shape and sizes begging to be filled and gifted. A full line of Scarborough products, out of Connecticut, rounded out the otherwise imported products. I see they no longer carry the Scarborough line but much has been absorbed by Crabtree… a sign of the times, companies down sizing. Too bad… What I saw at Rockefeller Center was a mere shadow of what I remember of Crabtree. I have fond memories of my Crabtree days kinda sad to see they will never be more than memories now.

So glad to be the first to review this store, but I’m not surprised in the least. I walked in to this completely empty shop on a busy Saturday with a beautiful perfume, never used, bar code and tag in tact, never opened. I wanted to return this as the scent was not my thing due to well, the actual scent even if it came with a beautiful gift case. There were many bottles of my product on the shelf, and the lone sales girl scanned it, told me how many people wanted this perfume, and that it was worth $ 80. She then told me that although they carried many of the same products in the store, since mine was in a nice gift bag instead of the environmentally unfriendly boxes, she would not return it and couldn’t help me. I explained to her that I couldn’t use the scent but I would like to choose something else. They do have some refreshing and somewhat enjoyable products here, after all. The sales agent responded that she couldn’t help me and that basically it was«too bad for me». I asked her if she could make an exception, especially since no one else had entered this store in an otherwise extremely busy shopping mall and day, but the answer was still no. So I left, vowing never to return. I have never entered a beauty store of any kind that wasn’t willing to at least work with a person on doing an exchange of some sort, even if the products had been tried and tested. Not here. No customer service, no exceptions and when I walked by again, still no customers. Ironically, before I wrote this review I noticed that Crabtree and Evelyn is advertising quite heavily on this site. And no bloody wonder. With all of the competition of nice smelling, modern products on the market, who in their right mind would shop here? Not me, and not ever again.
