Comfortable informality. Paper table cloths with complimentary crayons. Excellent rotisserie chicken sandwiches and freshly made sides. They even have gluten free rolls for the sandwiches. The red cabbage cole slaw is served in a generous portion, crisp and full of flavor. The same can be said for the fries. Sides are big enough to share.

My boyfriend and I came here the day after Snow Storm Jonas since we were craving hot chocolate. Not only were our drinks delicious, but the service was absolutely amazing. Everyone was friendly and courteous, and the server topped off our mugs several times! Plus, the fact that they use real mugs is always a great trait for any café. I’ll definitely come back to have a full-on meal. The menu had a great range — much more than just chicken. Overall, it seems like a lovely place and a welcomed addition to HK.

The first time I placed an order, the delivery was incomplete which resulted in them offering a discount for a following order. Unfortunately, the 2nd order placed a few months later also resulted in a missing item! I couldn’t believe it. Additionally, one of the sauces was not the one ordered, and there was only 1 set of utensils for a dinner for 2. I agree with earlier reviews on mistakes and on their demeanor. Their response when I called this to their attention was to insist that their order was correct. Food-wise, the chicken is juicy but portion size is small. The collard greens are bland. Their potato au gratin are likely their most popular option, for which they will charge $ 1 extra to include as a side. Likely no 3rd chance. There are so many other delicious and more reliable options in Hell’s Kitchen. They will really need better training and attention to detail to do well here.

I love this place. The food is delicious and it’s locally sourced. Highly recommended for a quick bite or take out.

Terrible experience. I ordered the LBC sandwich with special instructions. When I got home to eat it, the restaurant failed to honor my instructions. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the guy who took my order. He did not apologize for the mixup and showed zero remorse. Instead, he was snarky and absolutely rude. I will not be returning to this establishment. What is your brand?

This place is the bomb when you’re craving quality rotisserie chicken. It’s surprisingly empty most of the time, but I would recommend sitting down for the new, it’s fun. They have crayons and let you draw on your table paper(although the drawing stops when the food arrives at the table, obviously). The chicken is super juicy and the meat falls off the bones without even trying! Seasoned so well, and not too fatty. As for the sides, the Mac and cheese is recommended but the butternut squash is a must! Collard greens could’ve been cooked a little more, it was a bit chewy. Anyhow, this place is a great find!

SOGOOD. Chicken is BOMBAF and the sides are delicious. Definitely go if you’re in the mood for a really tasty roasted chicken with the awesome crisp skin. Yummy

I’ll come right out and say that I don’t care for rotisserie chicken in general, but Le Bön Choix still made me a steady customer via the rest of the menu. So, even if you don’t eat rotisserie but all your friends want to come here anyway, your salivary glands will still be taken care of. My favorite is probably the Cote Du Rhone sandwich, which includes rotisserie chicken slathered in their deliciously-finger-licking espresso BBQ sauce, topped with coleslaw(thank you for not making it nauseously creamy) & Gruyère, between perfectly toasted brioche buns. Regardless of the sandwich you get, make sure to get them«bocose style,» in which they will throw a fried egg and crispy chicken skin into the mix. Because let’s be honest, crispy chicken skin and fried egg are just great additions to anything and everything. Otherwise, their salads, soups, and sandwiches(remember — bocose style it!) are also surprisingly good for a place that specializes in rotisserie chicken. When I did try their chicken, I have to say their outstanding sauces are what makes this rotisserie better than others. Seriously, can I get a bottle of that outstanding espresso BBQ sauce or peanut ginger sauce to go? They taste great with everything. But, if you’re not hungry, you can always come here to grab something from their coffee bar and bask in their French-country-inspired décor and ambiance. Maybe doodle something on the butcher paper covering the tables with the provided crayons and get creative. All in all, a great little nook on 10th Ave to visit.

Shocked to see the raves here given that both my Half Rotisserie $ 15.00 and Ginger Carrots were undercooked. Ginger Peanut Sauce almost saved the day, but then they ended with a really weak corn muffin.

Comfortable, relaxed, friendly, French-inspired food, affordably priced. This little restaurant won me over after an off-Broadway show. I ordered grilled beet salad and French onion soup made with vegetable stock. The beets were not grilled, but it was late and everything else was perfect. The soup was un-be-lievably good! I’ll be back if for nothing else than the soup. Our server, Marcus, was extremely attentive and pleasant. I can’t wait to return during the day to try the coffee and pastries, and then come back late for another bowl of soup. Since they don’t have a liquor license, I’m also going to ask if they will allow me to bring my own wine in. If they do, I’ll have a new favorite place to eat in the neighborhood.

New chicken stop in the area, and open for brunch! Was pretty pumped on a Saturday morning, so headed over around opening time to try some of that pulled chicken. Looking at the menu, no rotisserie for brunch, which was fine, so ordered something with pulled chicken and they say it’s not available yet. Disappointing, since you know… it’s a chicken joint. Instead settled on the LBC Croque Madame($ 10) and a latte($ 3.50). Latte came out first, and is nicely balanced — didn’t have to add sugar or anything. The meal portion took much longer, about 25 minutes for the food to come out(they need more than one cook). Portion is pretty good and the ingredients are dense. The meal is served on top of wax paper, which is a bad idea since it rips apart while I’m cutting up the sandwich(fairly certain I ate some of the paper). Otherwise the meal is solid and the potatoes that come with are seasoned very well. A nice and inviting restaurant, though they need to make a few tweaks. Really want to try that chicken.

Yummy yum yum! My husband and I were walking by this newish Parisian styled rotisserie chicken joint and thought oh, French onion soup. As such we decided to check it out. What we later found(as we did get it to go), is while the coleslaw is not creamy as it states it is, it is extremely tasty. Additionally I highly recommend both the blanc and the espresso BbQ sauces; they really add a blast of flavor. When we got home I went right for the au gratin potatoes and the other half for the French onion soup. I have to note, from a culinary perspective the use of star anise being interwoven exquisitely into the effervescent flavors was perfection. For a moment I forgot it was rotisserie chicken we were eating … What a delightful experience and some quite tasty food. It’s reasonable so I am thinking once a week for this family. Maybe post gym. Thanks for reading and enjoy.

Only a few menu items, have had maybe half of them by now. Chicken is on point and«Bocuse Style» anything is good(crispy skin and a fried sunny-side up egg on top of your meal) — My favorite items are the personal pot pie(perhaps it was just a special and not a menu item though) and the Grilled Fromage(with pulled chicken inside) is also spectacular and gluttonous. It’s affordable considering the product and delicious to boot. A+

The food here is NOJOKE. Hands down the best rotisserie chicken in New York City. Not to mention the amazing selection of vegetables and homemade sauces!(The espresso Bbq is my favorite). The restaurant itself is charming and the people working there are fantastic. I love finding places where I can eat heathy and this place ISIT! The cornbread though… So so good. Great place to hang for awhile and enjoy a stellar underrated meal! Highly recommend this place!

Great new little spot in Hell’s Kitchen for an affordable but delicious bite. Came here for dinner and was charmed by the butcher paper and crayons on each table. Even more impressive were the $ 6 French onion soup, which hit all the right notes on a chilly fall evening, and the juicy half rotisserie chicken. The ginger carrots were passable but not particularly gingery; next time I might try the potatoes au gratin or the mac and cheese. One down side were the flies that kept buzzing around throughout the meal. I know we’re going for rustic here, but that might just be going a tad too far.

Looks appealing from the outside with a nice fresh décor. Service was appalling, perhaps it was because the music was so loud and staticky that the waitress could not concentrate. After 10 plus minute wait a «café au lait» arrived, milk spilt on the saucer and the steam from the excessively hot milk coming off the top. The coffee was a big disappointment. While waiting I observed incorrect orders being sent to other tables(complete with burnt toast). After another 10 minutes we cancelled our food(they hadn’t started it yet!) and walked out.

Really enjoying this new rotisserie chicken spot in Hell’s Kitchen. I have had both take out and dined in. I thought the take out was delicious, and packaged nicely so the food stayed hot and crisp. But eating at the restaurant is even better! The chicken is made to order so comes out hot and delicious, served on a cool wooden platter. Great presentation. Fresh, Healthy sides. Love the sauce options too. Friendly service and the right price! They even serve pretty good espresso. A great addition to the neighborhood!

I had the half roast chicken, potato au gratin with the coffee BBQ sauce. $ 15 + $ 1. The potatoes were excellent, I would recommend them if you love creamy cheesy soft potatoes. The chicken was a little disappointing since it was over cooked and dry. I normally don’t add any sauce but in this case it saved the day. The dinner was present on a wooden board with paper. This looked great until my chicken soaked into the paper. As I cut the chicken, my paper was also tearing and mixing with the chicken. I had to move my chicken to the dry side of the plate to continue eating. The table we choose was previously used for dining. There were crayon drawings on the paper tablecloth. When we were seated, the waiter did not replace the paper. Luckily we didn’t mind since the paper was only soiled with crayon markings. I added a sketch so I hope the next diners enjoyed my art work. In all, there were a few downsides to the experience but I did enjoy most of the food, atmosphere and friendly staff. They just need to concentrate on service and presentation and they will be here to stay in HK. They also need to provide a drink list. They just point at the wall that has bottles on shelf. It’s impossible to see. Check them out!

My boyfriend’s roommate had gone to Le Bön Choix the evening before and had raved to us about how good it was, so good he was completely willing to go back the next day. We went as a(tipsy) group of four and when we arrived we were the only ones there. This changed over the course of the meal and a good half dozen people wound up being in the restaurant by the time we left. We were quickly seated and I could barely contain my excitement over the fact that we could color on our tablecloth. Two of the boys got sandwiches, one with mashed potatoes as a side and the other butternut squash. My boyfriend and I decided to get the full rotisserie chicken to share, seemed like the best deal for the both of us as it came with cornbread and a side each. He got the mashed potatoes with chasseur sauce. I got mac n cheese with the blanc bbq sauce. The first 15 minutes of our wait were fun, we were coloring and chatting and enjoying our drunkness, but then the hunger set in. We wound up drooling and staring at our food being made for a solid 40 minutes. I understand it takes some time to cook up entire chickens, but THAT long? By the time we got our food I was so famished that I(nearly) didn’t bother taking the time to take any photos. I immediately noticed that our sides weren’t warm, I guess they’d been plated much earlier than the rest of our dishes. Each side was rather flavorless as well, my own mac n cheese wasn’t very cheesy, basically yellow noodles. The chicken was very moist, incredibly well cooked, but again, lacking flavor. That salt shaker and I were quickly becoming very good friends. I think the best dish I tasted was my friend’s sandwich, it had pulled chicken in it or something? Nice and flavorful, but maybe a bit too pulled? The chicken kept falling out of it. As for the sauces, I liked NONE of them. The only palatable one was my boyfriend’s. One of our friends had gotten the ginger peanut, which was VERY ginger-y. My own blanc bbq sauce kind of taste like coleslaw, but with an absurd amount of vinegar and no veggies. The cornbread was pretty ordinary, but I did wind up finishing mine. I think the fact that we arrived not long before closing may have had something to do with the average-ness of our meals but I can safely say I would recommend Le Bön Choix and I would probably visit again. What I had was definitely filling and totally worth the $ 15+tip, plus the service was just stellar.
