Lash Holic Eyelash Extensions

I’ve been to server different eyelash place and this is by far the worse.
By starting from the receptionist. She had no smile why do ever.
I bought a groupon for the set and a refill. For the new set normally it will take more time. But when I felt that I had been there for too long I asked for the time and I found out I’ve been there for over 90 mins and it’s still not done! And the girl said she need 20 more mins! I don’t have the time and she patched up and let me go which took another 10 mins. I had never done a set for that long! And while she was doing the eye lash the lash kept poking my eyes.
I didn’t want to go back for refill but it will be a waste of I don’t go back. Today is my 3^rd day after the refill and half of the eye lash had already came off! I have picture to proof.
I didn’t ask for the name of the girl because I feel bad that I don’t like the work she had done on me. She was apologetic. I believe she is a new girl. If they know I’m not happy with what she had done on my new set, they should ask another girl to do my refill. But they didn’t. I didn’t say anything because I know I am never coming back.

Horrible place; got eyelashes yesterday; already falling off. For $ 110 you can find a better place; said it’s «mink», certainly does not seem like it; had it done in other places, much better. Also repeatedly asked if I would add tip to charge or cash while both person who did it and person charging my card were staring at me. I walked away and told the owner to give the person a tip.

Overall I think they do a great job. Very efficient service. Friendly workers. I will be back.

Easy to make a last minute appointment. Clean and the tech was very pleasant. The prices were great and my lashes are awesome. I highly recommomend!

I have become a little addicted to eyelash extensions. I purchased a Groupon for a full set and 2 week refill. The initial application took longer than I am used to. about an hour 45 minutes. But my lashes looked great! I did notice I was in need of a refill by the time the 2 weeks were up– I am accustomed to them lasting at least 3 – 4 weeks. The touch up was quick– about 40 minutes, and the lashes looked great. But again, after 2 weeks, definitely was in noticeably in need of another touch up. I don’t personally have the time/​energy to return that often, but for the groupon price it was worth it.

Please do not use this place. They are unprofessional and they keep switching from technician to technician to do your lashes. You feel like an experiment. They have no idea what they are doing!!!

I found this place through a Groupon I purchased. I have been going to them for months now. The staff is friendly and very accommodating with appointments. I have recommended them to all my friends and they love it!

I stopped in here between apartment hunting in NYC because I usually nap during my eyelash extensions. I made a 4pm appointment, but showed up 30 minutes early, and they got started right away.
I have had lashes done twice in IL, one set and one refill, and only today did I realize what real eyelash technicians should do. This place removed the what-​I-​now-​know-​to-​be-​subpar job that I had done before, with no extra charge and very patiently. Lashholic was 10x better, 3x faster, and 3x cheaper. So in essence, 900x better! I got the C-​11s per the recommendation of the lady at the front desk and my technician, and I couldn’t be happier. I think they spent a total of 90 minutes on my lashes even though I only booked a 1 hour session. Oh, and my technicians switched people halfway through and the outcome was beautiful. I also like that they move back and forth between both eyes so its less stressful for my eyes.
When I met my friend a few hours after I had them done, she literally grabbed my arm and asked where I did them. I also don’t experience any itching, which I had at the previous place I used to go, so I am extremely pleased with my lashes and experience at Lashholic! If you’ve never had eyelashes done, I highly recommend this place! They were pretty good about accommodating my fidgeting and any concerns I had while I was getting them done (itching, eyes tearing up) and would adjust things as soon as I mentioned it. The place recently moved to the 4^th floor and the walk up is a little tough but once you get past that, this is such a nice and large space! It’s such a huge upgrade from the space they had before. There is plenty of waiting area space with great seating, magazines, water, and wifi. The technicians are all very sweet and they really take their time to make sure your lashes look perfect. The Unilocal check in discount is such a bargain. I also love that they are open 7 days a week!

Found this place with a Groupon deal and I’d recommend! At first, I’d have to say I wasn’t expecting much because I had a really hard time booking twice and finally got through after they moved location to the 4^th floor. Both times I didn’t receive great customer service and they sounded really mean and rushed on the phone.
However, when I arrived they were sweet and accommodating. This is my second time getting my eyelashes done so I’m still pretty new. However, they did what I asked for and kept asking me if I was okay because my eyes get pretty sensitive and got teary from time to time. When I was done, the results were full and they were nice enough to give me discounted cards to come back again and share with friends, yay!
I don’t really refill my eyelashes once I get them done so I’ve had my lashes stay on for about a month. I’ll continue getting them if I want to spend the money!

I’ve tried several places for lashes, and this was my favorite in terms of results, but least favorite in terms of atmosphere. Lash Holic is up a flight of grimy stairs in the corner of a slightly less-​grimy nail salon on 3^rd avenue. Despite this, I got under the cozy blanket, fell asleep for a little over an hour, and woke up with Kim K lashes that lasted well over a month. So I really can’t complain.

TERRIBLE !!! They dont obey the law ! What they say and what they do is different things. I spoke with a girl on the phone that I will get 120 lashes each eye and in total for 75 $. Then they have sended me a message to bring them CASH TAX 3 $ and plus suggested tip CASH 15−20% !!! I agreed, as I spoke with the rest of my friends that if its a good place we all going to visit exactly this location BUT
I went there and she started my lashes then I asked her that please make it exactly 120 lashes as they said me, she said no she wont do, then I asked why would they then tell me that they will do it. She said ok BUT after 10 minutes that she has started she left me like for 15 minutes approximately and went doing her staff, I was like «hello???» She came and very rudely said me «WAIT 5 minutes «and left again It went out that they spoke in their language with the other technician to do my lashes after that the other women will finish with her customer. Whatever, the other woman came and left again So I had to wait again for a girl that started my lashes She was with black kind of long hair that sits on front desk ! All of a sudden she finished my lashes like in 10 minutes I took the mirror and I see there almost NO LASHES JUST A FEW (I am someone who constantly doing lash extensions) so I asked her why she did put my lashes sooooo less and so unaccurate She said well thats how it it I said I TOLD U WHAT I WANT WHY DID U DO THIS TO ME, she was just doung her business Then I said that I am not going to pY for this lashes 75 $ But 55 $ she said ok but then charged my card 58 $ ! They dont obey the law and I am going to report about them So let the right places to know that they are lying to customers !!! I am someone who knows law ! You cant say to customer one thing and charge different thing and then u cant just say that I will do this but you doing different things Now my lashes are falling down and they look horrible !!! I am very wondering how did they get their license !!!

They just moved to 4^th floor and reopened! Which is bigger and nicer!
I came here for touch up again, and I will definitely tell all my friends about lash Holic now!

I’ve never dealt with such disrespect at a business before. The space, actually dungeon… looked like a butcher’s shop where serial killers go to chop up bodies. Very uncomfortable atmosphere. The beds were too close together. Absolutely no privacy at all. I don’t want to hear my neighbor’s snoring…
When I came in, no one even acknowledged me. I even said hi, and this guy looked up at me and didn’t even do anything and went back to doing nothing. They also didn’t have a business license anywhere visible. How does this place have good reviews? Much less customers? Seems a little suspicious to me.
The owner needs to seriously invest in a paint job for this so-​called business.
Also, seeing a ghetto Microsoft Paint sign saying that they will give you $ 5 off for writing a review as soon as you walk in is extremely unsettling. I really hated the vibe and atmosphere of the place.
Thankfully, there’s a salon downstairs that were able to accommodate me. Do not go here. You guys will thank me later.

So far I’ve found they are the best place to get lashes done in New York. The girl I had takes her time and moves back and forth between each eye to make sure they’re even. My lashes looked great and stayed on for a while. However, two downsides. The beds are set up inside a nail salon so there is no privacy and you hear all the commotion of the nail salon. The other downside is that all the technicians shit talk their customers in Korean.

Ugh. Bring back my original technician! The one I had from my recent visit did not do a good job at all. Lashes started falling out within a week. And they really need to get rid of their tipping demands, unless they’re absolutely sure they can deliver a 5 star service.

Bought a voucher for Lash Holic on Amazon Local. I read the reviews so I knew not to have the highest expectations regarding décor. The establishment is airy and clean and is a good place to visit if you want to have other personal services done such as manis, pedis, waxing, and massage. I arrived early for my appointment and chatted with the other two ladies who were also scheduled for 5:30. There are three beds and three techs, so it works out perfectly. I was assigned to Candy who was warm and friendly and answered all my newbie questions to further put me at ease. I wasn’t sure what I wanted initially so I was shown a card that had the styles they do and the different lash sizes/​curl type. I got a c-​curl #11 in the «sexy» style which is kinda cat-​eye like because it’s shorter toward the front and graduates to slightly longer lashes at the end of your eye.
I have short and very sparse lashes due to one too many bootleg individual lash applications and I told Candy I wanted my lashes to appear fuller. She suggested that I pay $ 20 for the thicker lashes that would help me achieve the look I wanted. After EXACTLY one hour, my lashes were done. I was and am still amazed at how natural they look and feel. I absolutely despise wearing mascara and now I don’t have too! It’s only been a few hours so I can’t vouch for how long they last, but I can attest to the natural looking application.
I recommend Lash Holic if you are looking for quality eyelash extension application and aren’t so concerned with sitting in a super fancy establishment where you will have your eyes closed for an hour anyway.

I originally got a groupon and ever since then I keep coming back for refills! They do an amazing job! I get the sexy C 14 to make my eyes pop. I love coming here!

I bought the groupon for Lash Holic thinking what the heck let me try this place. I tired many other places in Ktown before and they all disappointed me but this place was great!!! It’s located in the back of a nail salon which was fine with me and I don’t care where it is as long as it’s good job.
I got J 13 sexy lashes. They looked great I never thought I can look this great without make up. I just roll out of bed and that’s it. I got Suzie her hands wear so light I barely felt anything.
I got a ton of compliments from my BF who usually tells me to remove my lashes and make up or stop dying my hair because he hates fake things (what can I say I am girl and I bored of my looks, luckily I can change that) but not these lashes, are here to stay! Love this place!!!

As some other reviewers already stated, Lash Holic is actually in the left corner of a second floor nail salon. They have 3 beds available so make an appointment. They show you a board of lashes for you to choose from when you arrive. You can choose a natural or sexy curled style as well as the length of your extensions. I went with C12 which is the curled style with lashes the same length as the falsies I usually wear.
The BAD:
I would have liked my set to be a little fuller. When I got home I noticed I was missing some extensions at the end of my left eye. This is where my extensions should be fullest and longest. This was probably my fault since I was in a hurry to leave the salon and didn’t check my extensions carefully. I also left on vacation the next day so I didn’t get to call or go back for them to fix it.
The GOOD:
Very attentive service. They asked if I need a blanket. They also apply an eye patch during the application which should usually take about an hour. They were so gentle with the application that I fell asleep about 10 minutes in. When I woke up she was already done.
Two weeks later, about 3 quarter of my lashes are still intact. Note that I wear eyeliner and eyeshadow probably every other day.
The pricing here is typical city price ($ 110 for a full set) which is more expensive than some cheaper places I’ve been to in Flushing. However, the quality of the lashes is much better and lasts much longer than the cheaper places of course. Hey, you get what you pay for.
