Kushner Richard M DPM

I have been seeing Dr. Kushner for about a year to deal with multiple foot problems. One of the main problems required orthotics. Not only did he modify the diagnosis I was given by other well regarded foot doctors, but he also spent months modifying my orthotics and working with me on them — and didn’t charge me for these particular visits (He did charge for the rest of them, of course).
This is someone who loves what he does and, unlike the other doctors I saw, he is holistic in his work, thinking above the ankle and suggesting non-​traditional but well regarded treatment options and practitioners.
I also like him as a person — smart and open minded.
Is he perfect? Of course not. Late first thing in the morning — it happens. But, compared to the doctors I saw who managed their schedules immpecably but were no where like the quality of doctor he is, I will wait for him, cup of coffee if I want one in hand, contentedly.
And his office staff are lovely.

Smart, professional doctor. Great sense of humor. BUT he is not on Zocdoc, and the following happened: I showed up one day for an appointment and was told the doctor was running 1 hour late, which may be par for the course for a doctor, but I view that as inconsiderate. BTW, my appointment was for 9:30 on a Monday AM, so it wasn’t a case of his schedule being backed up.
