I have been seeing Dr. Kushner for about a year to deal with multiple foot problems. One of the main problems required orthotics. Not only did he modify the diagnosis I was given by other well regarded foot doctors, but he also spent months modifying my orthotics and working with me on them — and didn’t charge me for these particular visits(He did charge for the rest of them, of course). This is someone who loves what he does and, unlike the other doctors I saw, he is holistic in his work, thinking above the ankle and suggesting non-traditional but well regarded treatment options and practitioners. I also like him as a person — smart and open minded. Is he perfect? Of course not. Late first thing in the morning — it happens. But, compared to the doctors I saw who managed their schedules immpecably but were no where like the quality of doctor he is, I will wait for him, cup of coffee if I want one in hand, contentedly. And his office staff are lovely.

Smart, professional doctor. Great sense of humor. BUT he is not on Zocdoc, and the following happened: I showed up one day for an appointment and was told the doctor was running 1 hour late, which may be par for the course for a doctor, but I view that as inconsiderate. BTW, my appointment was for 9:30 on a Monday AM, so it wasn’t a case of his schedule being backed up.
