We are a design, installation and maintenance firm in Manhattan, serving the city’s gardens since 1997. We especially enjoy cultivating personal trusted relationships with our clients and providing beautiful environments in and around your home or business.

History

Established in 1997.

I have been gardening in the city since ’97 and added a design aspect in 2004.

I have studied design at the New York Botanical Garden and have studied and installed Green Roofs.

I have come to specialize in creating economical plans for client’s desired projects and renovations to their garden areas.

Born in NYC and raised in the Hudson Valley, I have combined by appreciation for writing and performance art into my deep appreciation and love of gardening. I have found each month has its own personality and relish the juxtaposition of the vigorous city life along side the tranquility of original outdoor spaces.

We have a small garden between our building and the front building in lower Manhattan, and getting the most out of our space is challenging. We have used Kevin and another gardener over the last several years, and Kevin is the one! He has an idea of what plants will do well in our setting, where ambient light is a challenge.
When we moved in, our garden was beautiful in the summer but a desert in the winter and Kevin helped us to find the right mixture of plants to have beauty 12 months a year.
We recommend him because he has helped us select plants that are beautiful and that flourish in our setting; he tells us in clear terms what we need to do to take care of our garden.
We highly recommend Kevin.

I highly recommend Kevin. He has a flexible style; if you want, he’ll create a beautiful garden you don’t have to think about, or – as in my case — he’ll make ME a better gardener by generously providing advice and answers. He is extremely knowledgeable about plants that will perform well under all sorts of circumstances — I appreciate his consultative style as I have my own criteria (water needs, butterfly-friendliness). He’s chosen beautiful plants and trees for me when he’s done the shopping and he’s also transplanted many of my existing plants. He’s always been timely, communicative, and tidy. He’s surpassed my expectations again and again. He is truly a professional.
