Amber Freda Home & Garden Design offers NYC garden design that includes a complete range of services from inception of the project to installation. We offer detailed garden design plans, including plant and furniture selection, carpentry, decks, pergolas, lighting, irrigation, masonry, turf, patios, roof garden design, terraces, green roofs, flowerbeds, yards, and container gardens.

History

Established in 2004.

We are a small business that got started through word of mouth and client referrals when Amber was teaching classes in urban horticulture at the New York and Brooklyn botanical gardens. She began offering garden design and installation services. Many of our clients were so happy with their way their gardens looked, they wanted us to design their interiors, too, so we started offering interior design services in 2012.

NYC Garden Designer Amber Freda was voted «Best in New York» by Shecky’s Guides to New York, and Amber has been interviewed as a guest expert by the CBS News Morning Show. She has also been featured in New York Magazine, the Associated Press, Daily Candy, New York House, New York Resident, and Design Bureau Magazine. Amber has taught more than a dozen classes in urban design at both the New York and Brooklyn botanical gardens. She started her firm, Amber Freda Home & Garden Design, in 2004.
