This place is the best! The people are so nice! I go there about every weekday before my classes at NYU and they always make the most delicious smoothy/juice/milk tea with boba(bubbles). I’ve gotten to know the people who work there and they are all so friendly. The guy who complained about them laughing in his face is probably just overly sensitive or misunderstood. They probably just thought it was funny and were laughing with him. I know they are the nicest people.

Super rude people, basically laughed in my face when I asked for tapioca before 12pm. Never going back.

After spending a nice afternoon in the park, we want wandering around nearby streets in search of a refreshing beverage and Jupioca hit the spot. They have a great list of tropical smoothies and I was very happy with my mango-pineapple selection. It was just the right consistency and not too icy. They also offered boba/bubble tea but none of us tried any of those but you’re given the option to add them to your drink. TLDR: Smoothies good.

Highly recommend their Rose green tea! Decided to come to this place around last month but I couldn’t find their Unilocal page. The drink wasn’t overpoweringly sweet which was a A plus to me and you could also adjust your ice levels too. They also ask if you want bobas or not but I chose not to. I would come back again to try the other drinks out and service was nice as well. Their store is small and they only have one counter and two seats available.

I think I should give a comprehensive guide of NYCBUBLETEAON UnilocalNOW. I am gonna cut it short. If you prefer firm bubbles, this is not your place to go. If you prefer good quality of tea, this is not your place to visit if you are in a mood of fresh smoothie, maybe you can give it a try.

Bubbles are great and free. Must’ve improved since other reviewers’ experiences since twice I’ve gone and the bubbles are perfectly chewy. I like to make my own smoothie — choose 3 fruits or veggies and they blend it with coconut water or green tea and free bubbles and a small scoop of ice. Ingredients look fresh and clean — will be coming back!

Bubble tea here is just great! There’s a choice of amount of sugar; bubbles are also so good. They also make awesome smoothies, I like they have a choice of base(coconut water/green tea) and free bubbles for any drink. However, sometimes they’re really generous for toppings, and sometimes you feel that there’s not enough of them. Once a cashier was trying to convince me to take large size instead of medium; it wasn’t rude or anything, she was really nice though, but I think that this is not something cashier has to worry about. I still love this place and go here really often.

Tried this place today because I had a smoothie craving. The storefront is small but cute. On display on the wall they have a bunch of containers regarding what they put in their drinks(almond butter, chia seeds, peanut butter). They seem to be very health conscious but I’m not completely sold. I ordered a stress buster which is strawberry & mango. I should have just gone down the street to 7 – 11 because the flavor is identical to a Slushie. The drink is very artificially flavored and unsubstantial. This is not a smoothie but would be better classified as a slushie. You will still totally be hungry after this. The dominant flavor is artificial strawberry and the mango perhaps swam by because it just isn’t there at all. At $ 6 dollars for a large, you’re better off going elsewhere and finding something with a better flavor structure and nutritional value.

I work in the area and had this strong craving for bubble tea.(Which isn’t uncommon… as you can tell with my previous boba reviews) After some quick research, I found out that this place was just a few minutes away! Awesome. Now… if only I could say the same for their bubble tea… The store is pretty tiny, there’s around four chairs for seating. I decided to get a regular, black milk bubble tea with 50% sugar and less ice. The drink was quickly made by the and I decided to just sit down for a few moments and drink as much as humanly possible. Er. Scratch that. I ended up slowly drinking it. The tapioca balls were too mushy for my taste. They didn’t taste fresh and seemed too small for my liking. The milk tea was nothing special either… they seemed to put a bit too much milk and even the milk tea itself didn’t taste completely great either!!! It was just really disappointing. I couldn’t even bring myself to finish it so I threw it out less than halfway finished. Ergh, as much as I hate being wasteful… finishing it up would just end up taking up useful space in my stomach. Welp!

Chia seed pudding with almond milk was pretty delicious and affordable compared to other places-only about $ 5. I really like how accommodating the staff is to use non-dairy milks even in their bubble tea. Their tapioca bubbles could be improved though, too soft and mushy.

If you’re excited that there’s a bubble tea spot in the neighborhood, let me lower your expectations. The smoothies might be the better thing to get here, because the boba is terrible. They felt old — completely mushy and not chewy. The milk tea is heavy on the milk with minimal tea flavor. Sweetness level was fine. Sadness level was high.

Wonderful, conveniently located bubble tea/juice place. Reasonably priced, great options. They have both hot and cold tea drinks as well as smoothies. Also, I think they launched a student discount!

Great fresh juice and can’t beat the price! I ordered the detox juice and it was really good. Also got the vitality green and was surprising good too. I have not try the bubble tea so can’t really rate.

My drink was awful. I ordered a «Lady S»(papaya and banana blend). They assured me they put no sugar in the drink but the drink was very sweet – I suspect some kind of artificial sweetener – even worse! I asked for almond milk and was half-expecting something like a Taiwanese papaya milk, which if you’ve had before, is unbelievably good. Instead I got this awful watery, artificially sweetened mess with bits of chunky papaya floating around and no taste of bananas. It’s about as much like a Taiwanese papaya milk as a box of saltine crackers. While this place markets itself as a «health food» place, putting artificial sweeteners seems anything but healthy. Will never be back!

I’m so happy that a juice place that’s affordable opened in the neighborhood! The fruit/veggie options to make your own smoothies are great. I ordered a blueberry, papaya, and kale smoothie with a coconut water base and it was delicious! I definitely recommend Jupioca and I’ll definitely be coming back

Was excited to see a juice/bubble tea place open up near me. They currently have a buy one get one free grand opening special. I ordered the Amazing Acai smoothie which is a berry blast with banana and berries. I thought it was pretty good, the berries and banana flavor were pretty even throughout. It was ice cold and perfect for a hot summer day. My friend got the island cooler(watermelon and lychee) and hers tasted like an Asian drink you would find at a supermarket. It was really sweet and refreshing. You can also create your own juice or smoothie with up to 3 ingredients and each additional one at $.50. They also have energy shots for $ 1.00(protein, vitamin, ginseng, flax seed, chia seed, wheatgrass, or peanut butter). Acai is $ 2.00. They also have bubble tea, but the juices and smoothies definitely dominated the menu. Would definitely come back to try more flavors.
