I left him approx. A year ago… waiting time is endless, then he answers his calls during my visit, he has constant interruptions by his staff… two of the Snootiest receptionists I have come across… he wanders into his office late… with a full waiting room, has his breakfast and reads his paper… THEÑ he calls in his first patient…, he is horrible !

5 stars for the doctor himself. 1 star off because of the wait time.
The other reviewers are absolutely right. If you are looking for a doctor where your appointment time is actually honored, he isn’t for you. The wait time has been horrendous, but has gotten better since he has moved locations. I think it is absolutely worth it though to see him. I’ve been going to him since I was a kid, and while I no longer live in the vicinity, I still go to him. He takes his time with all his patients, doesn’t speak into a tablet or computer (I’ve tried switching to a closer physician and they all seem to do this now!) and will spend time answering your questions and concerns.
He gets extra love from me because the rates he charges have basically not changed since the 80’s. Most of his clientele are senior citizens with no health coverage and have to pay completely out of pocket. He spends the time to help these folks as well, and only charges $ 35 per visit. What doctor do you know now a days that only charges $ 35 a session?
FYI — his office has moved from the Oliver Street location to Canal Street. It is in a new building and his office is very modern. His assistants told me the only reason he moved and is now paying ridiculous rent fees is because his older patients needed an office which had an elevator. I mean come on… Who does that? Have I mentioned that he owned the building where his last office was housed, meaning it was rent free?
I’ve been holding out on writing a review for ages, because I was afraid positive reviews would increase foot traffic to his office thereby doubling my wait time. But I also wanted to share my positive experiences given the negative reviews I’ve seen here.
The wait times could be better, his assistants could be nicer, but I’ll take it, with the doctor with a heart of gold.

Unless you are an elderly Chinese person this doctor seems to just rush you out his door and not pay much attention to detail. He seems to just prescribe the same thing in most situations as well. The long (hour+) wait for his visit which only lasted 5 minutes was upsetting. The wait times have gotten better since his move and the facility he works out of is much nicer. Admittedly, once i had gone to see the doctor a second time i felt a little more at ease with him so perhaps the firs time around wasnt the best experience…

Definitely one of the wost experiences I’ve ever had at a primary care doctor!
When I got past a lengthy waiting period (almost an hour, there was only one person ahead of me), I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Moy.
My primary care doctor had just left town, so I had outstanding referrals that I needed to renew, including one to a physical therapist for my knee and the knee doctor himself. I also needed to get an updated MRI of my hip. Joint pain is my main issue, clearly.
So, my guess Dr. Moy is conservative or something, because he gave me a big lecture about how his job is to be a gatekeeper for insurance and referrals, and how he doesn’t give them out easily. I believe he was also complaining about overutilization, and mentioned that Oxford’s insurance premiums are going up. He also told me that people aren’t supposed to be pain free.
He then examined me and downplayed my joint pain, basically saying I was complaining over little. Then he refused to give me all but one referral, and wouldn’t renew my physical therapy.
It sounded as though he was blaming me for my pains, and denied me based on some moralistic sense that health care is not supposed to keep you in optimum health, and that you should suck it up. I don’t think he believes in wellness. Needless to say, I don’t share his philosophy or vision. He might as well just go work for the insurance industry, he seems to love and want to protect them so much. No faith in his patients’ judgement.
So I walked out. I wouldn’t go there, unless you like being belittled.

Called to schedule an initial visit and showed up 15 minutes early on the day of the appointment. I was asked for my insurance card and told to just sit in waiting room. They never asked me to fill out any paperwork… I’ve never been to any doctor/​dentist office without filling out something.
I waited over an hour along with 6 other people who were there ahead of me. In that hour, no one got called in to see the doctor. In the meantime, we did have some action we watched a gigantic cockroach walk across
the middle of the waiting area without even batting an eyelash… assuming that cockroaches have eyelashes.
After an hour and a half I told the receptionist I was leaving. All I got was «so sorry, bye» Wow.
Maybe the doctor is good but his office stinks.
