Funny how so many things are expensive in NYC, but others are exactly the same (Starbucks is the other example). This location had a short line even in the 8am rush to work hour, and the $ 7 enormous smoothie was enough for a small family.

prices keep going up at Jamba, but that’s ok. the product is delicious.
we stopped here after my wife and friend ran a half-​marathon through Central Park.

Went in late afternoon and they were fairly quick.

The only time I ever find Jamba Juice worth it is when there’s a buy one get one free coupon or… just a free smoothie/​juice coupon. I took advantage of the free drink coupon last week and came over to this location — much better than the Rockefeller Concourse location and just as close to many Midtown offices.
The line was wrapped around the door, but moved fairly quickly, as the employees had a pretty efficient assembly line thing going on.
I ordered the kale orange power juice and it was actually delicious! Of course, as with all the other Jamba Juice drinks, it’s high in sugar content and it’s very obvious. I found this «juice» far better tasting than any of the smoothies they offer that I’ve tried. The next time a coupon comes around, I’m definitely ordering the kale orange power again.

Scored a Jamba Rewards freebie at this location, which is one of the few in Manhattan still around (contrary to Unilocal listings that they refuse to mark Closed). Nice enough staff kept the line moving efficiently.

It has been years since I have gotten a nice smoothie drink from Jamba Juice and when I came here a few weeks ago, I remembered why… this place is hella expensive!!!
$ 5+ for a SMALL drink… gotdamn! Listen I know I can be frugal with certain purchases at times but when you’re talking damn near $ 6 for a SMALL drink, you can’t really blame me. I mean that is damn near the price for an express bus ride.
Anyway, came here recently because I was in the mood for a smoothie. I usually get the razzmatazz smoothie but decided to try something different and get the Caribbean Passion® Smoothie. Should of stuck with my usual. That Caribbean Passion tasted mostly like frozen vitamin water rather than a smoothie. I don’t know if it’s just the way the girl at the counter made it or just the way it naturally taste but was not feeling it at all. Maybe I will try again at another location but not in a hurry to do so.
Probably will be a long while again before I have Jamba Juice. I can start making my own smoothies that taste way better than that.

I’ve been to this location a handful of times, always in the morning and the wait is always long. This will be my last visit. It’s morning rush hour and the staff (which consists of two people) had no sense of urgency whatsoever. I think the average wait time for your smoothie is 15 – 20 minutes here. This particular morning, five people ordered after me and left before me. The cashier, Chaniece, didn’t seem apologetic at all and simply took the next person’s order. She’s probably upset she’ll be working here the rest of her life. I asked to speak to a manager and the guy making the drinks said he is the manager. Oh, no wonder this place runs the way it does!
Word of advice to upper managerment: me more selective in the hiring process, get more competent staff, or at least people who don’t look like they just woke up and haven’t showered in a few days!

I swear, every time I’m here lately, I wonder if they are understaffed. They are so slow and disorganized! I watched 4 full parties (one of which consisted of 5 people) who ordered after me get their orders before I asked them if mine was coming. They had forgotten about it completely. And I ordered one of the most basic and common smoothies on their menu! So frustrating. I really need to get a working blender in my apartment so I can just do this on my own. Coming to Jamba Juice has just proved to be too annoying. Thank goodness my smoothie was good, otherwise they would be getting one star.

This is one of those «I would have sworn that I reviewed this place already» reviews. I used to go to this Jamba Juice quite a bit about five years ago. I was in the area regularly and would always head in for a tasty treat. I recall the service being pleasant and efficient and the drinks delicious.
I honestly think this was an «off day» for this branch. I walked in and was surprised to see little changed from my previous visit years ago. The signage was different since the menu has been revised and they now carry new products like Blueberry crisps. However, for the most part the cashier stations were in the same place and the area for picking up your drinks is still in the back.
The staff seemed a bit disorganized when I got there (around 2ish in the afternoon). The young lady at the registers didn’t know which register she was supposed to use. Then another young lady came over to take over, but seemed rather grumpy the whole time. When I asked a question about a boost, she seemed annoyed that I had any questions at all. The young man in the back making the drinks had some good energy going however, but he too seemed like he wanted to be anywhere but there at that moment.
My drink was made fast however, so I can’t complain about the efficiency. I had one of the new (er) drinks (at least it’s new to me) known as the «Berry Upbeet» (
) and well… I mean, I’m sure someone likes it — but that someone isn’t me. It had a really funky flavor to it. The fruit and vegetable flavors didn’t really mix, they just seemed to duke it out for control of my taste buds and I couldn’t even finish it. Again, I’m sure this is a perfectly good drink for what it is, it just didn’t agree with my tastes.
Overall, not the most pleasant experience, but some of that is due to my personal preference in smoothies.

Slow service, are they hiring? Cause it took me 20 minutes to get my drink, only one person was there yesterday. Sunday at noon time, he was running the register and the juice bar. It could also be because he’s busy trying to get things going that made my drink very bland, not enough fruits and too much ice, I don’t blame him though.

Due to a whole new staff line-​up the customer service at this location has VASTLY improved, and consistently done so for some time now.
On a very wah wah side, I have yet to go in when they have kale. They have a whole new menu with a whole slew of options for drinks with kale… yet EVERY time (read: this has happened multiple times, y’all) I’ve gone in (usually between the hours of 2pm & 3pm) they are already out of kale. This is nowhere near their closing time, and the new menu is meant to bring folks in.
Very frustrating, especially when prices keep going up, but availability of products keeps decreasing. Might have to start trying to Jamba on Broadway again…

I love Jamba Juice! I’ve never had a bad one. The Aloha Pineapple is awesome. Very clean inside!

Stopped by to pick up a couple smoothies to get us through the long wait time in the line for MoMA’s rain room. All Jamba smoothies taste the same to me, and probably deserve 3 stars. However, the staff here was just SO cheery and nice that I think this location deserves a 4^th star.

Small location with a small staff but they work relatively quickly even when there’s a crowd. The light smoothies are the way to go if you don’t want to feel too guilty about all the calories your guzzling down.

I like this location. small but not as crowded as the Union Sq one and the staff was great.

They are pretty quick at this location in the morning, as long as there isnt a huge line. I don’t get the jamba juice obession, they are tasty, but the smoothie consistency isn’t thick enough for me. However, I do want to go back to try one of their energy smoothies.

Of course, only the Jamba-​obsessed would get a JJ in the winter… which would be me!
The shop was very empty yesterday afternoon, but the girl working there was pleasant and made my smoothie quickly.
There’s just something about walking in a JJ and getting that instant burst of citrus scent!!!
