History

Established in 2000.

Began shooting sports and surf photography on the west coast, Hawaii, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico. Went to grad school at SVA in NYC in 2010 (MPS Masters in Digital Photography) and moved to New York City in 2010.

Meet the Business Owner

Julie L.

Business Owner

Julie has a Master’s in Digital Photography (MPS) from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and she was mentored by Jay Colton, (Time Magazine) from May 2010 until his sudden passing in September. She also graduated cum Laude from SUNY Geneseo with a concentration Photography and Digital Media. Julie has a high end studio with a Mac lab, Pro-​Foto light system and she shoots using a medium format Hassleblad H4D. Julie is an artist and spares no expenses when it comes to the quality of her work. She has done photo workshops with renowned artists; Calvin Hollywood in London, Greg Gorman in Hollywood, and surf photographer Art Brewer in Puerto Rico. She has also assisted Heinze Klutemeir, photographer from Sports Illustrated. Julie was a Recipient of the EAW (Eddie Adams Workshop) and she won first place Magno Intensity Award, Julie has also been published in multiple magazines, PDN NYC Photobook, and Adobe Photoshop CS 6 retouching book.
