Live like a local in Manhattan. Our Bed and Breakfast has been open 17 years and is in a quaint, convenient part on Manhattan. We provide upscale private apartments for visitors to New York who are looking for a unique experience. Our guests feel like they live in the city. We are not a hotel, we do not overbook. Breakfast is included, and so is free-​local calls and wi-​fi. We are happy to help with restaurant suggestions, birthday surprises, and many inside tips to this great city.

History

Established in 1998.

Ivy Terrace is a very small business, we are personal, and care very much about our guests. We actually have 10 FIVE star yelp reviews if you look for them (Yelp hid them)

We survived ⁹⁄₁₁ and the huge hit to tourism in New York, but we came out stronger.

Jeff, my innkeeper, and myself run Ivy Terrace B&B

Now we have 6 rooms, 2 with terraces, and we host approximately 2000 guests to New York City per year!

Hello yelpers:

I have lived her in New York City for 32 years, and am so in LOVE with New York that sharing the great aspects of this city with others is my passion.

I grew up in the arts, my father was a successful musician, and my mum a dancer. I am a professional actress, and studied many places including garnering my BFA from N.Y.U. I have worked in New York and regional theater for 20 years. I love to travel and have been to 4 continents.

I also enjoy eating, everything from fine dining to street food! Having a small business in this huge city is a challenge, but well worth it.

We have met the kindest people owning this B&B, and get to share with them special birthdays, anniversaries, proposals and the like.
