Owner made me move in the middle of my meal to accommodate another party. Won’t go back. He said he didn’t care as he has thousands of customers! Times are too tough in NY to have that attitude!

The food is overpriced and very regular. Ordered 2 very basic breakfast meals and the omelette and home fries ended up getting thrown out, the meal was inedible! Huge waste of money, would not suggest this to anyone!

If you like really mediocre food, this is your spot. I never write reviews — and I’ve given this place a lot of chances(with feedback) but they really know how to ruin your morning. How do you mess up bacon and eggs? Serve the eggs raw and bacon burnt to a crisp. Never again.

My dad and I made a quick stop here for brunch after our original choice was too noisy/crowded for pops. I got an omelette with ham, onion, tomatoes and avocado and it was cooked just like I like it(soft – hate overcooked eggs!). My dad got French Toast, which was mediocre. Our waitress was a hoot. Super reasonable prices

There was a piece of plastic in my food. I do not appreciate the dishonesty nor do I like how they think that they can treat me like a fool by telling me that a piece of plastic was peanut. Please… when I bit into that material it was definitely too hard to be a peanut. Don’t treat me like a fool. Definitely never coming here again. The food was only average at best.

Came here on a lunch break to stop and grab a quick bite to eat. Ordered the seafood omelette and was amazed by how light and fluffy the eggs were. It satisfied my normal craving for pancakes. Everyone here is super friendly as well. Will be back here for sure!

One of the best if not the best diner’s in NYC. They have a very extensive menu and is hands down my go-to place for omlettes and Arby’s-style curly fries. The omlettes were not buttery in the least.

just an okay little diner with no frills or bells and whistles. the toast was a little stale(in that crumbly toast way when you spread the butter on it, it started to break apart) but the omelet was great and so were the hash browns which are made with onions and peppers(a fav of mine). the waffle came out in 3 minutes and was fine. overall it got the job done. two cups of coffee, two omelet dishes and a side of waffles cost $ 40 with tip.

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been! Me and my friend were there last week for lunch. After we seated, waited more than 5 minutes to have a waiter to come and serve us.(There were two waiters simply just standing there, as their mind wandered to somewhere else, and we were just sitting in front of them!) When I ask the waiter about some dishes on the menu and for recommendation, he simply just told me what are already written on the menu(as the way he answered, it seems that he didn’t care about us as customers at all), completely unhelpful!!! We had Chicken Florentine and Salmon Pasta, both with side salad. Our comments on these two«specials» and salad are: WATERY, TASTELESS, and OVERCOOKED. The waiter never came to us and ask us about how is the food, except added some water in our glass only once. I wish I could give them zero star. :(

My summer to go place for brunch… Always enjoyed their pancakes… quite expensive but you’re in the city what do you expect? LOL

The portions here are typical diner portions(meaning large), and larger than the diner on 6th Ave nearby(Waverly). I always get breakfast food at diners no matter the time of day. My go to is banana/chocolate chip pancakes and milkshakes. The location is quite and perfect for a lazy Sunday. Friendly staff.

The Quick: Really mediocre diner food, and I was pretty drunk the last time I was here(which is when diner food is usually at its best). The Details: My friend ordered the curly fries which were delicious as to be expected. I ordered the chicken gyro — a diner classic– and was horribly disappointed. The pita bared relation to cardboard while the Greek yogurt sauce was clearly just mayonnaise. The staff was very nice and attentive, but the food was very mediocre. Moral of the Story: In a city full of late night options, I will not be returning.

I’ve only eaten here a few times, but each time the service has been excellent, the food has been great, and the prices can’t be beat. With the nearby Manatus closed, I feel that the West Village really needs the Hudson Diner more than ever — it’s unpretentious and feels like home.

It’s a no-frills NYC diner. The food is good, the menu is expansive, prices are reasonable and it comes quick. Nothing super fancy but it serves it’s purpose — and well.

Had breakfast there. Great service, v. good coffee. fresh juice with your meal. The omelette I had was a bit off tasting. Just cheese, ham and onions. Maybe it was the cheese. I let them know. Would go back and try again. Very friendly. 468 Hudson St New York, NY10014 212−627−9191

Quiet little diner with nice outside seating. I had the California omlette and it was just what I needed. The service is fast and the waitress is quite a character. The coffee could be better.

This is good diner food. Nothing pretentious here, just a crazy extensive diner menu that is sure to please anyone. You won’t find fancy pretentious fare here — just old school classics prepared in a no frills way. You will also find very honest, hard working, friendly employees, who are making sure you get what you came for. I had an omelette which was cooked very well, with a side of everyday kind of hash browns. My date had poached eggs and he quite enjoyed them. Their juice was good(the plastic cups made me feel like a little kid, in a good way) and they coffee was tasty too. Refills came easily which is more than I can say for some other places we had breakfast at on our vacation. The server made sure we were getting the best price on our breakfasts too as there was two different ways she could have charged us. The only complaint I had was that the restrooms smelled a little funky. Old funky. Oh well.

Well stopped by with a friend this past weekend. We dined el-fresco outside they have tables set up. I really was not sure what to order so stuck with the burger deluxe. My friend was having coffee and couldn’t decide, so she got the same thing I ordered. I ordered medium but the burger came out well done. Guess you only get it one way at this place. It was nice sitting and chatting but the food was really just passable. The french fries were good but dam there were so little of them, really gives me no real reason to return here. Service was fast and friendly! And the fork and knife were dirty. Does anybody look at the utensils before they place them on the table. Lazy!

Came here on early Sunday morning. Most NY’ers were sleep. Seating available, place was nice and clean. Server greeted me with a smile. Ordered a small glass of OJ(which is really like a micro OJ)…get the large. Also ordered Cinnamon Toast and Hash Browns. Both were spectacular! Love my Hashbrowns nice and crispy. The cinnamon toast was a nice change from my usual wheat toast. Will definitely be coming back! Neighborhood places are the best !
