Howard Kronenberg, DDS

I’ve been going to Dr. Kronenberg since 2002 when he was part of a former practice gone crazy. Thank God he did all the work there and then went off on his own — otherwise I may have not met him. His office staff remains the same years later — says a lot about him as a good manager of people and his practice. He’s an amazingly talented dentist and all around great guy. Very hardworking and dedicated to his patients and achieving perfection. I wish all of my doctors were like him. Great staff, immaculate office. I look forward to going there. I really do!

THE MCDREAMY DENTIST.
I have been going to Dr. Kronenberg for about 4 years now, and I will never switch to another dentist again. I am relocating in June, and am determined to book my appointments with him whenever I am back in town.
He is so friendly and attentive, and his overall demeanor just makes you feel like you are in good hands. He has tv’s in every room which is great when you are sitting there waiting for your local anesthesia to kick in.
I had a bad accident in 2012 and he had to put in porcelain crowns on my front teeth. They are so gorgeous that I get compliments all the time, and many of my colleagues now go to him because of my referral.
The one minor setback is some of the dental hygienists in his office do not share his bedside manner qualities. I have had pretty painful cleanings done by one of the hygienists, even when I let her know that my gums are really sensitive and for her to not go too hard on me. She also asked me if I use my night guard (which I proudly told her I do) and she pretty much called me a liar and said I chipped my crown because I don’t wear it.
My final recommendation: If you are looking for a dentist in the NYC area, go make an appt with Dr. Kronenberg! He’s located right off the 76^th street 6 train and so easy to get to.

Funny guy, easy going and friendly staff. Easy to get through to them over the phone unlike many other doctors’ offices. Our family has been a patient for 5+ years.

solid 4 stars. i mean, it’s the dentist, so hard to feel especially effusive. that said, i went for a first-​time cleaning (not in life, just here) and had a good experience overall. everyone was nice and the cleaning was thorough. and who doesn’t love a free toothbrush?! wouldn’t it be funny (slash great) if doctors gave out freebies too? i always wondered how the free toothbrush tradition came to be, but i love it’s universality.
