I hate this place. I don’t even like walking by it any more. The owner is rude, dismissive, and not knowledgeable about her products or choices. She was on the phone the two times I went there, kept talking while I asked some questions, shrugged to my wonderment about high prices, and had no response when asked about choices between some simple product lines. I keep hoping to see this store closed. Very unpleasant experiences, twice. It certainly isn’t clean nor inviting to go in there or stay very long.

Fantastically convenient store — which has been there FOREVER. Owners are very nice and incredibly helpful/​knowledgable. My ENTIRE immediate family has been going there for many many years and store is often open after 9pm — VERY helpful for those with later work hours. Highly recommended!

Love this little place. The owner has given me some great advice in helping me with a really annoying health problem that I’m treating naturally.
Don’t let this store’s appearance turn you off. There is a bit of everything you need to be healthy here, and much more convenient than pushing through the crowds at whole foods!

Uberhelpful, knowledgeable storekeep who gave me more information than I asked for and went on to explain quite a few interesting remedies, recommending products and how to use them. Great that this mom and pop remains open over the years despite the corporate takeover consuming the city.

Nothing to write home about.
I felt the selection looked dated and sadly the prices could be beat at the chain stores.
Whole Deal: small selection, expensive, mediocre customer service… won’t return.

This small health food grocery store has organic, vegetarian, sugar-​free (!) and fat free food, as well as some ready to eat salads and sandwiches in the fridge. They’re open late and there’s never a line. The service is very cordial, almost a family vibe, and the prices are reasonable.

for years this was one of the only places in chelsea to get health food, supplements, and remedies. roy has done a good job keeping the place honest and providing reliable products. especially has a good tea section. good variety of frozen organic foods. lots of dry and canned goods. unfortunately he doesn’t have the space for fresh produce. open late very convenient.
