Hands down, the best short iced latte I have ever had in my life– and trust me, I’ve had many. They use counter culture, their espresso, Big Trouble. It’s pretty good. I wish they had more seating, but the space is used very well. Because the place is so small, it could easily be missed, but they normally have a sign out so, keep your eyes peeled!

Another copy-and-paste hipster occupation. The same old tired IKEA type furniture, the overpriced burnt coffee with hot asphalt-like scent and of course the same people I see every passing by with their laptops probably typing away on their macbook air the sins of capitalism and the noble pursuits of the proletariat while drinking a brand name coffee, doing nothing for hours on end. Coffee shops like this and the people who frequent them inch their way into ethnic neighborhoods displacing it’s natives. Much like the Jesuit priests that religiously slaughtered natives who have been there for generations. I and many others that are left weep for this neighborhood.

Great spot for a quick high quality espresso pull using«Counter Culture» beans. Had an Americano and it was as smooth and tasty as it should be! Not much seating, but for a quick grab and go it’ll do.

Go to Happy Bones for some quality coffee. Simple and small menu. The service is acceptable. During the most recent visit, the line was almost at the door. Although I do love having my coffee to stay and sit down to warm up from the cold NYC weather, the seats at Happy Bones are almost always occupied. Three tables only, and sometimes people are sitting with laptops, you better prepare to take your cup to go. This is always my place to go for a cup of coffee while I’m in Soho.

Minimalist place. Everything is industrial white and über hipster looking. It doesn’t have too long of a line for such a small spot near the high-traffic Soho/Little Italy area. But the coffee was just OK. Very friendly barista though. He took time to answer my questions about the neighborhood and their different coffee options(mostly Counter culture). I ordered the cappuccino. It was too much milk and cream for such a tiny cup — like drinking warm milk! Eee, no thank you! Needed more balance in flavor. Unfortunately more style than substance.

Refreshingly friendly hipster coffee bar. Solid coffee, phenomenal donuts from Dough. Had some good banter from the barista. Only three small tables filled by people on their MacBooks. Best to take the coffee to go.

I ordered a chai latte but didn’t want it overly sweet as most concentrates come. The burrista offered to brew a chai tea mix rather than making the chai from the concentrate. She allowed it to seep a while to create a rich and spicy concentrate before pouring it into the steamed almond milk. No additional sweetener was needed. Best chai latte. It went perfectly with a pistachio cardamom cake that she suggested. Until next time, I will be craving the chai latte.

Counter culture. Very well crafted. I will miss SOHO. This was only 5 minutes from my old office. Those five minutes would go faster with a cup from here. Yay for caffeine. You can get Counter culture roasts all over the city. The difference comes with the craftsmanship. And the craftsmanship here was amazing.

Hipster little hole in the wall kinda place. A few seats outside and a few seats inside. However all were taken when we went so we grabbed 2 small flat whites… and they were pretty good too. The guy that served us was Australian so I’m sure he knows good coffee. They have doughnuts there too which I was nearly tempted by as they looks pretty good. I just don’t get the $ 4 price tag for a coffee it just seems too expensive but it’s not just here it’s everywhere in NY/USA.

Came here for coffee today with a friend looking for a place to kill time. It’s very small, only about 3 tables, so might not be good for a big group. They also have a very short menu, which keeps thing simple when trying to order. I got their iced latte and it was strong, but not bitter. All in all, it is everything you would expect from a decent, hipsterish coffee shop. Near soho and Chinatown/little Italy so great place to stop by and rest after a day of shopping.

As many others say, I would like to give Happy Bones 3.5 stars but it’s not incredibly spectacular that it deserves 4⁄5 stars. Perhaps it is because I’ve seen and heard of Happy Bones many times whether it be on Instagram or a NY city guide. I came on a Thursday afternoon around 2 pm and got an iced coffee for $ 4. I usually like to drink iced coffee black, but it was very strong. Granted I am not a usual coffee drinker, I went back and asked for milk which they were polite about giving me. I had to wait a bit for one of the three tables to free up as well. There’s nothing bad I have to say about Happy Bones but it’s not a place I would rave about!

This place is a great quick coffee stop in Little Italy. There’s not a ton of space so I wouldn’t make this your work location for the day but if you need a delicious Americano or iced coffee on your way some where, this is the place to stop! And the service is always expectational. everyone that works here is super friendly.(And they have a punch card for frequent visitors!)

Coffee STRONG just the way I like it. Busy café with minimal seating. Baristas not the most welcoming. A smile would do. Non dairy options available. Liquid sugar a nice touch for those ordering an iced beverage. Ultimate people watching spot. All in all would return for the coffee.

Happy Bones is pretty much the epitome of hipster. Love the space, amazing coffee, and delicious sweets. It is a great place to escape to when you need to recharge and take a break from the craziness of Chinatown/Nolita. Did I mention the strong coffee? :) The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s hard to find a spot because it’s so small. There are only 3 tables, so be prepared to wait or get your coffee to go. It’s also probably not the best place to go if you’re with a big group.

This is such a cute little coffee shop. Menu options are pretty simple. We were pretty much in and out but from what I experienced, which was quick and efficient service and tasty coffee, I wouldn’t have a problem returning. I also like places that have liquid sugar syrup. I ordered a latte with regular milk, my cousin ordered a latte with soy, and my friend ordered an iced coffee. We were all happy with what we ordered.

Came here for a post wax treat and so happy I did. This place is tiny but love the white brick and just overall chill almost beachy vibe to the space. I also give this place major props because the vegan chocolate chip cookie I had was devoured in 5 seconds because it tasted like the real thing. As someone who has recently disappointed with many a vegan version in other shops I was happy this was not the case here. And most importantly, they make a deliciously strong iced americano. As someone who has had a ton I can confidently say it was on the top of my list.

My go to coffee establishment whenever I’m in Soho, Noho, LES, Chinatown, anywhere within the vicinity pretty much. It’s a cute shop with great lighting, limited seating, and all around best coffee with awesome baristas.

I stopped by today because every café in SoHo was crowded and 0 tables were available. The photos on Unilocal for Happy Bones are awesome so I over-hyped it. The interior is beautiful but there’s nothing that stands out to me. There are a few small tables for chatting and reading, but there’s no WiFi. I got an iced coffee with almond milk and it was great!

Nice coffee shop that has this chill, hipster vibe. Small place but is very light and airy inside. Good place to work. Their coffee is very good — had the iced black coffee and was impressed by the richness and full flavor, even with it being iced. And wow — their peanut butter cookies are divine. I could eat like ten of them in one sitting. Must try.

Awesome … Awesome place! Reallly good cappuccino! The only downside: there is no bathroom so if you decide to hang out here and in need to go to the bathroom, you’re screwed! Lol It’s simple décor, straight to the point no fluff and let the coffee speaks for itself.
