Located in the bustle of New York’s East Village, Flux is a recording studio with a vintage heart a modern head and vibe. Being one of the very few studios in NYC with beautiful bay windows and an enormous rooftop lounge, we offer many services to suit your needs.

Dangerous Room– The 55-​series Neve Console overlooks the live room, whose acoustically treated walls allow your sound to be captured at a quality standard.

Fabulous Room– Another acoustically treated, analog-​ready room to track vocals, mix your record, master, or even hold a listening session.

Revolution Room– Our newest addition, this room is also ready to mix your next record or track vocals in the newly built vocal booth. This room has outboard gear both new and vintage, ready for the sound you’re searching for.

We’ve also rented our studio & rooftop space for events such as album release parties, listening parties and charity events.

History

Established in 2009.

Flux Studios has become the best kept secret of the East Village. Sitting on the original blueprints of the former Dangerous Studios, Flux gives off a warm vibe that gets the creativity flowing. Whether it be the unmatchable sound you get from the 55 series Neve Console, or the history in the keys of the century-​old Steinway, you’ll immediately understand that quality trumps everything at Flux Studios.
