I had a mixed experience with printing an A4 colour folio, for an architecture job interview I had the next day. Rather stupidly fedex only does printing via an online file submission, so there is no way to talk to a person doing your prints beforehand. Via the online submission I had a special instruction to print my A4 folio as a book with the spiral bind on the short edge — no one called me to clarify these instruction, instead it was just printed wrong.
When I went to collect it from Adam the next day he was very helpful and printed it again for me on the spot (I had the interview in a few hrs). If it wasn’t for that then I would have been in real trouble about going to my interview. He also fixed the print setting as some of the linework had printed out as raster not vector. Overrall the image quality for a graphic folio is what you would expect from a high volume printer.
All in all, I would get my folio printed again here, I would just call beforehand to clarify the special instructions.

Easy to use if you know what you are doing…
You can pop your credit cards in one of the copy machines in the back and print b/​w or color. b/​w is .14 cents a page. Great hours, small staff.

Staff is rude and condescending and zero service. Adam is rude and attempts to route any possible question to the national customer care number. This is the typical minimum wage, minimum skill establishment. Employees come off as bitter, disgruntled, and apathetic. FedEx should be embarrassed that the people that represent the FedEx name are completely disinterested in doing their job. I avoid FedEx because of this and am not sure how long they can rely on their corporate clients to carry their profits as eventually everyone will sour to their lack of commitment to the customer experience. The manager of this particular store hides in the back and is the only staff member.

This store probably has the slowest service I’ve ever gotten from anywhere. The simplest task takes about 20 mins and that’s if you’re the only customer in the store. Been here a couple of times and I’m not giving 1 star because at least they get the job done, but with much inefficiency.

The staff was friendly and ready to help. They were the only print shop that I could find in the city that would bind my report the day that I brought it to them. They were cheap; the only problem was that they waited 3 hours to do a 10 minute job.

Horrible service and if you bring something to print in a drive that is only formatted for mac (as in file system) you won’t be able to do anything. They have all these dinosaur computers. All WINDOWS based slow and useless.

I want to add my review to the bunch — I note that not that many reviewers seem to have been using computer/​internet/​scanning, as I was earlier this week. First I want to say that basically, when you go into a place like this, you just know it will not exactly be super-​speedy. I was not expecting excellent service! I’ve used this place about 3 times in the last few months and in truth, customers like me will keep going because it’s simply closest to my home. They do seem to have a service problem, however. There have normally been at least 3 – 4 staff in there, yet it takes quite a while to get helped (no line).
My most recent experience was that I used a computer to scan a document that I then needed to email, via gmail. Using Firefox, the attachment function of gmail simply hung, indefinitely. I went over to get help. It took a couple moments to get someone’s attention. A young woman then helped me, but she instructed me that I was composing my «reply-​all» message incorrectly, and I needed to open a new window by clicking compose, which loses all the addresses! Obviously, she did not know gmail. (She was also mixed up about my attaching a scanned doc). This is not her fault — and she was never rude with me — but she did insist a few times on completely incorrect instructions. In the end, it was MY suggestion to open Explorer that got things working.
(a) I would say if you have clients using computers, the least your staff who’s helping them needs to know about, then, is something like Gmail attachments. (One person on staff at all times to know about this stuff). (b) Also, clearly, Firefox simply doesn’t work on the terminals (it happened previously once as well). This needs to be fixed/​posted © Finally, the clerk wanted to still charge me for about 10 minutes of usage time out of the 12 – 13 I ended up racking up; that is, she offered a 25% or so reduction. I said no way. We had lost the majority of time in my waiting for her to attend me, walking to the computer, my showing her the problem and then having to explain to her how Gmail works! I persisted, and got more of a refund. But clearly this is much more of a headache than customers should have to endure to complete a 3-​minute scan-​and-​send procedure… and that is precisely why I was prompted to write this review.

I’ve been to this place twice and at first it was to send packages. It’s system itself os descent but people that work there are what makes it different.
First time visiting, sending packages was good.
But hopefully the black girl was more helping us taping the box. But no personal attitude. No line but took us to wait 5−7mins. Thats ok. Therefore, 4stars.
Second visit, my boyfriend has to go because my package name was written by my boyfriend’s name. However, i called this place to ask some question and couldnt here him very well. I asked him to repeat and he was rude. Gosh. He was. I dont want to use fedex anymore. Reqlly dont want to. Therefore, star 2.

I wish you could give zero stars. Not only is FedEx a complete rip off as is, these people at this location need a wake up call. I asked to scan multiple pages and they told me I had to use the computer desktop scanner and scan one by one — for .45 $ plus tax per minute. After 3 minutes of their computer being frozen and eating my money the same girl told be I could scan multiple pages at the counter. Now it’s been 25 minutes waiting for their slow ass staff to pick up their eyelids from the floor and do a hamsters job. They don’t even help the people at the counter waiting to be checked out — you have to ask them to ring you through. And shame on Adam, the manager, for avoiding all contact with the customers and instead is busy sticking stickers on machines in the back room. I’d rather go 40 blocks out of my way then go back to this location. Slow as sin.

Absolutely horrible FedEx store. Staff are rude and inattentive and even the most simple task, such as dropping off a package to ship, takes a rediculous amount of time. Be prepared to leave angry if you come to this store!

Oh how I wish I read the reviews before I went to this Fedex. Last week I visited 4 Fedex locations to print something important and this location was by far the WORST! It felt like the longest, most frustrating 2hours of my life! I walked in with a lot of patience but left with anger and disappointment! The staff were not helpful at all. And would make the most rude remarks just to rub it in more! Fedex, I used to be a loyal customer. Before I went to this location. Never again!

TL;DR FedEx done need to hire more than one person to man this store.
I don’t know if it’s the customers who don’t know what they’re doing or the employees fault, but I just waited 15 minutes to drop off a prepaid package and that’s after I skipped 3 people. Actually I would say it’s FedEx the company’s fault for understaffing. That one employee there was completely professional and courteous. Actually now that I think of it, he was way too professional for that line, which means he’s experienced this before.
They have all this space and only 1 person manning the store. Jeez at least hire 1 more person incase some crazy person comes in and starts some sh! t. Someone just got shot down the road yesterday! It’s not like this guy has bullet proof casing protecting him.
FedEx please hire more staff for this location for better service and safety.

Comments: You guys really need to hire more than 1 person for the New York City, 250 E Houston St. location. I was there today to just drop off a prepaid package and there was a line of 5 people. It took 15 minutes for me to drop a package off, and that’s after I skipped 3 people. Please hire more people at that branch.

Sadly there isn’t a zero star option for this abysmal place.
I came in to pick up my package at about 5pm the day before thanksgiving having been advised by a Fed Ex customer representative on the phone that morning that it would be at the location after 2pm.
I arrived and there were 3 people in the line in front of me. I quickly realized something was very wrong as both of the women in front of the line looked baffled and frustrated. They both told me they and been standing in the line for an entire hour by the time I arrived. At this point the manager and another staff member were hovering near a computer, studiously ignoring the line and apparently doing absolutely nothing. It was utterly utterly bizarre, almost like they were enjoying just watching the customers suffer. I asked if the manager could help with the line and he replied «just wait in the line». The lady in front of me remarked that by that point it «felt like they were just being spiteful». And she was right. I would describe the attitude by the manager and staff there as abject contempt for the customers. Everyone in the line was so nice, just trying to pick up/​get their packages out as the staff members watched them, refusing to help or assist. It was so strange. And utterly frustrating.
I then waited in the line, with just 3 people in front of me, for an HOUR AND A HALF, as one solitary staff member seemed to struggle with every single tiny basic request from a customer. During this time a litany of increasingly bizarre and awful things happened, including a customer having to repeatedly request for scissors as the tape roll she had been handed didn’t have a dispenser (she then taped her own boxes while the monosyllabic and rude woman «serving» her stood by and watched). People in the line, which had grown to maybe 8 people, were also calling the main Fed Ex switchboard by this point, desperate to see if someone from Head Office could do something. That’s how hopeless the situation felt. Occasionally the manager would waft by, half-​serve someone, then go and half-​serve someone else. Despite the location being not at all busy, the atmosphere was utter chaos.
By the time i reached the front of the line, after being there for an hour and 45 minutes, just to pick up my package, yep, you guessed it. It wasn’t there. I asked where it was according to the tracking number. The answer– «I don’t know». No sorry, no sympathy, no effort to fix the situation. I told the woman that this was unacceptable, at which point she loudly yelled «next customer please». I walked out of the store more upset and furious than I have ever felt during a retail experience in my life. And the cherry on the cake? She didn’t even hand me back my white slip with my tracking number on it. The package, by the way, was my wedding photographs. They lost them.
FedEx does not care about its customers, and this location, staffed by the rudest, least intelligent and clearly miserable people you could possibly find, should be avoided at all cost.

If you hate your job find something else to do. This place is just frustrating. If you can avoid it go somewhere else.

It totally depends to the employee u get! Some of tjem are totally polite and helpful whuile some are imcredibly rude and LAZY! So u meed good luck there to be happy there!

NEGATIVE STARS. Beware! I got a package stolen here. Since I am busy and not home I had my package rerouted to this FedEx facility. I got a text notification at 8:15pm that my package was delivered. Very excited and relieved, I arrived there at 8:40pm only to find that someone else by the name of «Allen Kim» had signed for and taken my package. I was super disappointed and it boggled my mind that FedEx doesn’t have a better system to check that the right package is going home w the right person. I asked a worker named ALIK if it was normal procedure to release packages without a photo ID and he confirmed saying, as long as someone has a tracking number or door tag, we can release the package to them. Umm, what? The whole ordeal ended up causing such a headache and I had to call
, to resend me a shipment even though it was pointless by then. Also, it was an alcohol shipment so they HAVE to check a photo id to check that the recipient is of age.
Conveniently, all three workers knew nothing about who this «Allen Kim» may have looked like even though he had allegedly signed for my package just minutes before I got there and was the last person to pick up a package (Allen also happens to be the name of the street I live on). I’m not one to jump to conclusions but something fishy is definitely going on. You have been warned about potential stolen packages from this Fedex.

I sent things in at 4pm online to get printed, and picked up at 6pm. All I sent there were some simple PDF files that I needed printed in black and white. I got there at 7pm, and they still hadn’t started printing it. And then their machines started having problems. Ended up waiting here forever.

This FedEx location is terrible. The staff were rude and did not care at all. It took me over 15+ minute to pick up a package. There were about 3 people working but they were working soooo slow, that a line started to build. Go somewhere else, the customer service here just sucks.

I just a want to yell out of frustration. I seriously need to just but a fax machine instead of them charging me 2.19 each time and not even guaranteed to work, Half of the time all the equipment isn’t working or I need to wait for them to change the drum. I mean seriously? Time is money people.
On the other hand when I need something shipped out they do it quick and easy.

If your not familiar with the copy center, do not expect the first rep at the entrance to offer assistance. Thank you Roland for your help after struggling on how to use the card/​copy machine for the first time.
