4 foot long authentic Italian pizza Roman style thin and crispy! Only extra virgin olive oil, organic vegetables, fresh imported Italian products.

Grab a slice to go, order for delivery or come party with us in our back room with waiter service! In our menu you’ll find Italian appetizers, salads and a great selection of delicious pizza. Also available Italian wine, beer, prosecco e gelato!

Back room available for parties and business meeting (we have a big screen with AppleTV and an incredible sound system… so bring your Dj or ask for our own one!).

History

Established in 2009.

Our first location was in Tribeca (90 Worth Street, but we relocate uptown after 2 years because of some structural problem of the building were we were.

So we opened at 1132 Lexington Ave (between 79th and 78th st.), even if we still have many customers in Tribeca that call for delivery!

Our new store on Lexington Ave and 61st is very welcoming, and invites everybody to try the «Farinella’s experience» while sitting comfortably in our private cozy back room, and tasting the pizza right off the oven!

What a nice surprise I had in a pizza shop. I was out viewing art and needed a bite to eat. Funds being low at this time I was trying not to spend a lot for lunch. I was enticed by the window sign that tells you all the good things about their food. Like no additives, coloring, artificial ingredients, stuff like that! Then I met Cassie and Dayanna working behind the counter. Not only were they smiling and friendly they went over every detail with me. My allergies limited my choices. We finally came up with a slice that met my dietary restrictions and wallet restrictions! I had plain mozzarella. It was delicious. $ 5.15 for a big slice. She even cut it in four pieces for me! I left full and was thoroughly satisfied with the experience!
Today I arrived just in time. While I was there the line started forming. It’s a great location for everyone living and working in the neighborhood to grab a slice for lunch. I sat at a table in the front and relaxed to eat. When I was done someone was very happy to take my seat.
I’m sure when I’m in the mood for a slice I’ll return. They fix it any way your little heart desires. The more you want on your slice and the different type ingredients/​toppings changes the cost. If you’re on a budget (or short on funds) check the menu prices first! You might end up with a $ 10.00 slice. :-)

Yes you’re organic or whatever you want to call your ingredient but when you priced your slice of meatball pizza for $ 10, who cares? What a RIP-​OFF place! I still can’t get over how I felt and shocked that I had to pay $ 10 for a slice of pizza on top of that your meatball is soggy and I had to spit it out because it’s that bad! I’d go to Per Se but $ 10 pizza with soggy meatball, no excuse! Yeah I’d say it again and again and tell the whole world to know you guys are a rip-​off!

This place has grown on me. I don’t like the service. They’re very pushy, the older people (not the kids) about buying wine or ridiculously-​priced soda.
But if you’re going to do pizza, this is a pretty healthy way to do it. Very very thin crust. Not a ton of cheese.
I have tried half-​dozen.
Felice is arugula and a few cheeses (8 bucks for two smallish squares).
Arrabbiata is *super* spicy and I love it but if you can’t stomach spice, pass on this.
I’ve tried the eggplant and it’s pretty good if you put a little chili flake on it or ask for oil.
And if you don’t eat the crust crust (edge), it’s really not a bad way to enjoy a more gourmet, and by definition healthier, pizza when you’re busy or just trying to save money.
I never eat there. I live a block away and usually stop by after subway. Not open terribly late but you can get something at 10.
I just appreciate any meal under 10 within a few blocks of apartment and this is under 10, considerably, if you get the 6 buck options.

Funghi slice was okay. Lacking salt and flavor; but lighter then your usual pizzaria slice. When it’s Healthy vs. Greasy. I pick Healthy. Just need to add some garlic, red pep to spice ot up.
Warning about the garlic powder they got here. Its very fine so if ot doesn’t get absorbed a little, you might take a breath of garlic by accident.
I love the rectangle slices and all the varieties. Can go wrong. Just find a seat.

Let me just say this, this is not $ 6 a slice pizza. There is a place on 53rd I think called My Pies that is brick oven and that tastes like light fluffy pizza. A whole 4 footer which they claim would feed 6 people is $ 78, when was the last time you paid $ 78 for a pizza pie. Either way, not so great of pizza, I have had better even on East 94th and 3rd.

I crave this pizza every time I am in NYC. I have had about 6 different toppings. So pick your favorite. You will love it. Mine is the quattro formaggi. I love heating up a piece (in the oven) the next morning, with an egg, for breakfast. It taste just as good. The mozzarella salads are fabulous. The Ama beer pairs wonderful with the pizza. And save room for the tiramisu! It’s the best.

Specialty pizza is what this is. Don’t come here if you need to get 5 pies for 20 people, or you’ll be pretty angry when the cashier tells you how much you owe.
A slice here can run you $ 5 – 9 bucks. That’s right, a slice! I won’t lie, it’s definitely worth it every now and then, and from someone who doesn’t eat pizza all that often, I truly enjoy coming here occasionally.
The pizza is cooked perfectly, it’s crispy, flavorful and thin crust. The square style makes it all the more fun. You really can’t go wrong with any topping, but I love the classic DOC and the prosciutto!
I probably would give 5 stars, but the price definitely knocks it down a star. Can’t afford this type of pizza on the regular!

Pizza is delicious but I really don’t like the snooty vibe from the girl on the phone. Also, ½ Parma Capricciosa is $ 49 plus a tip for delivery… its a pizza guys??? Won’t be eating it too often, for sure!

I stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to have a quick bite. While checking out the pizzas one off the employees told us that we can have a seat in the back and the waiter will take our order. I didn’t even realize that they have more tables in the back!
This is not your regular pizza joint. Absolutely love their menu, a lot of great choices. I opted for Quattro formaggio pizza (4 cheese pizza). Loved the combination of the cheeses, great flavor and crust.
One slice will cost you between around $ 4 — $ 6.50. It’s bigger then your average slice and definitely makes you full.
Some reviewers are saying that it’s too expensive, but I definitely disagree. They use good quality ingredients, can’t compare to the $ 1-​$ 3 slice.
The only bad thing is that I wish I found this place sooner!

The flatbread pizza here is a little bit on the dry side. I enjoyed the flavor combinations especially the tartufata (mushroom and truffle) but I didn’t see a lot of truffle flavor in the slice. The bosciaola which is a sausage mushroom slice was a good flavor combination but made me want for more sausage pieces.
The goat cheese beet salad aka cleope was good but very small for the price they’re charging. I could get a much more satisfying salad for the same price at many many other places.
It’s like a good idea but only taken halfway. Maybe people like the extra crisp of the pizza but I found it particularly dry. Like eating a cracker covered in things.
I wouldn’t care as much if it didn’t cost me so much. Damn you upper east side!

Eh I was expecting a bit more. Especially for the price point. The ingredients used here are definitely fresh and quality. However just because you use great ingredients doesn’t mean its always going to taste good. The pizza here was a bit lacking in flavor, kind of bland. Wont recommend, service was fast and friendly, place is small.

With thousands of pizza places available in the city, this place deserves a special mention. Their service was so good and the energy is awesome when you step inside.
They have such a wonderful selection of flavors. I had a Siciliana. I loved the crust and the cheese and how the elements blended well together. It’s a little bit pricey though and that’s why I’m giving it a 4.

This is my first 1 Star Review.
I’ve never been so disrespected by a restaurant manager before. There were limited seats in a cramp space and so I went to the back to save a seat for my mother and sister while they ordered pizza. There was a whole room full of empty chairs and tables and just one family sitting there. The manager sees me set my stuff down through the kitchen window and says to me «Hey! What are you doing??» I assumed that meant he didn’t want me sitting there, so I grabbed all my stuff and walked back towards the front. He stops me in my path and says «What are you doing? You’re not supposed to be here! Look around! Does this look like somewhere you can just sit? Even YOU can tell this is somewhere you shouldn’t be sitting. Jesus»
Are you kidding. That’s how you talk to your customer? Trust me, I am the easiest going guy, but I almost lost it.
The pizza was good. Overpriced. But I must say I had a horrible taste in my mouth.

Yes the slice of pizza is $ 7 or so which is more than a typical slice would be however this really isn’t your $ 4 slice of pepperoni or what have you.
I have only had the burrata and arugula I want to say the «Felicia» twice now because both times I’ve been, this slice looked too good to pass over. I have no reason to add any toppings to this because it is delicious on its own.
I will continue to go back as often as possible to try more slices and gladly walk the 7 blocks on my lunch break everyday to do so!

To start off the pizza here is phenomenal !!! This isn’t your ordinary neighborhood pizza where you can tell the slices been sitting there for a while. I’ve been here numerous times and pizza is always fresh and looking great!
It might be a bit pricey but like they say, you get what you paid for ! If you don’t see a slice you like they’re more than happy to make a fresh one for you and the wait isn’t very long either. I definitely recommend this spot! Go and try it for yourself !

the pizza smelled soooo good it was like i went into a momentary trance and suddenly needed pizza and walked into the store and found myself ordering. such an intoxicating smell, rarely do i respond so strongly to pizza.
it is perfect: fresh tastes, high quality ingredients, a perfectly crispy light brown thin crusty crunch.
the staff was attentive, knowledgable, considerate, and spunky! i am so glad i don’t live near here… otherwise my pants would stop fitting!

Organic (and potentially gluten-​free), unique, and fresh.
Farinella is not exactly what you’d imagine when you think on New York pizza but it’s a refreshing deviation from the norm. I enjoyed their patate, which is similar to a white pie with mozzarella, potato, onion, and black pepper. In addition, their branding is adorable which gives the storefront a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
While not what I’d typically recommend, I’d certain encourage stopping by. I look forward to someday ordering one of their enormous rectangularly-​rounded pizza’s for an event!

This is definitely more of a grab-​and-​go type of spot. There are a few (tiny) tables you can sit at, but not comfortably so.
I grabbed a casual lunch here with a friend, and she ordered a slice of pepperoni and I ordered a slice of sausage, and we shared a can of the San Pellegrino blood orange soda (yum!). The pizza was surprisingly tasty but minus one star for the tiny portions/​high prices. For a little thin rectangle of pizza mine was $ 6.70! It’s a little bit nuts.
Service is friendly though and not a bad option if you have a pizza craving and you’re in the area!
