David Frazer has dedicated his career to advocating the rights of tenants, while expanding his practice to include commercial litigation and real estate transactions. He defends tenants in every type of eviction proceeding and has developed a particular expertise representing loft tenants.
History
Established in 1997.
David has represented hundreds of clients in Housing Court, Supreme Court, Federal Court and all appellate courts. He has taken cases all the way to the Court of Appeals, the highest court in the state. David also practices before administrative agencies where he represents tenants in all manner of cases, including Loft Law coverage, demolition, rent overcharge and certificates of eviction [“Mitchell-Lama”].
David also represents parties to a wide variety of commercial contract disputes, contractor litigation and general real estate matters, including the negotiation of commercial leases and the purchase and sale of apartments, houses and commercial properties.
In addition to his solo practice, David is of counsel to the tenant firm, Himmelstein McConnell Gribben Donoghue & Joseph.
