I had been meaning to get my feet summer-​ready so when I passed by this cute store front, I popped in to ask what the wait time was like. Initially they said 20 minutes, but someone took me right away!
I was escorted back to the pedicure area and the woman Sunny got to work on me right away. She gave me the pedicure menu and I chose the cheapest one, a $ 30 pedicure. I’m not sure if she was annoyed I was on a budget, but I barely had time to sit down and enjoy it. (And it wasn’t even busy when I went in.) I literally checked my text messages to see what time I came in and what time the pedicure stopped: 10 minutes! In some instances speed impresses me. This is not one of those instances.
The polish looked nice but part of the pleasure of a pedi is getting to relax and clean up cuticles of tired tootsies.
While my toes were drying, a woman came over and started massaging my shoulders! Hell. Yes! But this was simply a tease to get me to agree to a 10-​min $ 15 massage. Ugh.
I guess if you’re in the market for an express $ 30 pedicure, this is the spot. I just felt like it was insanely rushed and overpriced.
To add insult to injury, just a block away is a place that will do a mani pedi for $ 28. Womp womp.

Decent pedicure for a decent price. I don’t mind paying a little more for cleanliness and they use new tools on every customer. One star off for lack of massage.

Headed here for a quick pedi while hubby got his golf on at the piers… Set up and design is very pleasing to the eye. Staff is incredibly friendly, which should be the norm for all nail places. Lucy did a great job on my feet, gave an awesome leg massage. Lucy was accommodating and very attentive.
While I dried my toes, another employee suggested a 10 min massage for $ 15, and I thought «Sure! Why the hell not?» Omaigaa she was great, you don’t know how much you need a massage until after you have one. I wish I had taken down her name.
I always get anxiety when it comes to putting sneakers on after having my toes done lol, so I was dreading having to leave. Lucy came right away and helped me with the saran wrap deal and putting socks and shoes on.
Pedi came out to about $ 30, which is more than I usually pay, but it was totally worth it.

I went to visit my bestie in Brooklyn and I requested that we get mani/​pedis. The girl did us right and steered us here. I adored the hot pink/​gold/​white ambiance and the attentive staff.
I really liked that they use orange or lavender essence when they soak your hands or feet, and when they being you over to dry your nails — surprise! A short little neck massage (which is fantastic) all for $ 38, which seems really reasonable to me.

I had to kill time until my lunch arrangements and thought I’d run in for a quick pedicure. I called to make an appointment and the woman who picked up told me it wasn’t busy and that I can walk in. I was there within 10 minutes. When I got there it was busy and there wasn’t anyone to do my nails. The manager said it wasn’t a long wait and to choose my color. She ended up doing my nails, even after one nail technician became available shortly after she began. Instead she was instructed to help one of the two girls who came in after me. The manager did such a mediocre job, not surprisingly since she is the manager and not a nail technician. I instructed her on which areas to work on (which was only to cut the corner of a slightly ingrown nail) which she fought me on. I gave up and decided she wasn’t going to be tipped and I’ll never return here again. She walked me over to where I’ll be drying my nails and didn’t even turn on my machine, I had to figure it out myself (not that it was rocket science but still).

Not a bad place at all, but if you want my Unilocal Stars then I expect more in Manhattan.
Don’t make faces and complain if I come in to get a gel manicure touched up. You broadcast that I can do it. I’ll still tip you. Unless you wine and moan. If you don’t like your gig, find a new one.

If you want a perfect mani and pedi. This is the place. You pay for what you get… Yes you pay a little extra but you get amazing service and walk out extremely pleased and happy !

It was a nice and clean salon. Everyone is very professional and the manicurists wear the same outfits. Their licenses are also posted which you rarely see. I just felt it was a little expensive for what they offered. $ 30 for a basic pedicure. You sit on a large wrap around padded bench. It’s still comfortable, but not what I expected. My manicurist did a very nice job and gave me a 10 minute foot rub with my pedicure. I also got a 20 minute back massage which was great. They have separately trained masseuses for back massages which is nice. Everything is charged separately. Total came to $ 95. I would go back, but I think you can definitely get the same manicure and pedicure service for less than $ 60 in the city.

I’m a regular and I love Ewa. She’s great, through and friendly. The place is always clean and has a nice quiet atmosphere. If you’re emotionally sensitive to xmas songs don’t go here during the holiday season :)

Only go as a last resort, the nail tech are extremely rude talk crap about you, they are also very overpriced for mediocre service, there is nothing diva about this salon. You would think they are the best but the Nail polish chips after a day… Any salon could a better job, don’t waste your time or money

Great service but very overpriced! I paid $ 45(plus tax) for literally a change of color. Nothing special. It is a nice spa and my lady was wonderful But I’m used to $ 25 – 30 for both and they do a great job. I would return only if prices were cheaper/​I need one urgently for travel as I did today.

I came here because it was close to where I was in the city and have had a super positive experience at other Dashing Diva locations.
Unfortunately, I was not impressed by this location. First off, the pedicure is a solid $ 10 more than in the Brooklyn location I frequent. The nail technician rushed both my service and my friend’s. She barely applied 2coats on my toes and it was so light, you could barely tell I had polish on. She also did not scrub my feet thoroughly but just ‘went through the motions.’ On top of that, since my male friend does not get polish, he finished earlier. He asked if he could stay and sit next to me until I finished my pedicure and she said NO! We come to get our nails done to hang out and catch up and she didn’t let us do that. Like girl. Killin’ my vibe.
Lastly, one of my favorite things about dashing diva is the massage at the end. No massage here. Womp womp. Ladies and gents, you know if you’re gonna drop $ 50+ on them nails, you want a quality service! I will never return here.

I frequent the Chelsea location and usually get a pedi and a chair massage. My pedis always last extra long (3 weeks).
The salon is very clean and the workers are all vey polite and friendly.
For massages, be sure to ask for Cathy, she’s the best!
The prices are moderate and they have a great color selection.

On my previous Review I focused on the facility and gave it 3 stars.
The aesthetician was rated highly.
This review is less based on that, as it is based more so on the service of eyelash extensions.
When I first heard of them my dreams of «Beauty-​without-​hassel because I want to look nice but also do it in the most convenient and practical way possible» appeared to Come True! I was hesitant but after some research on the matter (like the good nerdy self I am) I jumped at the chance of waking up ready to go with beautiful lashes that rose to the skies!
I loved the initial first look. The second time around, not so much. Went in for a touch-​up, which is really just doing the process again. It costs just as much too, 50 dollars less, is not much when the initial service is pricy to begin with. Also, for some odd reason, while I was able to relax and find some comfort the second go-​round the process itself was not so smooth. The first time I couldn’t find comfort in the hard-​massage-​bed but I waited miserable but patiently and did not really feel a thing when the eyelashes were being tended to. This time, I found it easier to relax but I definitely felt the application. No pain necessarily but I did feel the lash-​extension poking into my skin, also it appears that something went a bit wrong because there was a lot of cleaning up glue and separating lashes. Afterwards it made me realize just how crazy I am for entrusting my eyes, so carelessly. Think about it these are your precious windows to the world, knock on wood but should something go wrong, eek!
Lesson learned. Loved the look but will not be continuing this service. I know this update is a little off just rating the location alone but I had to get the word out to anyone considering eyelash extensions…

Did not have time to have a man/​pedi in Los Angeles before my trip to NYC. Stopped here and got a great gel manicure and pedicure that still look fantastic a week later!

Great service! The people were lovely & they did a great pedicure! Celebrating our mom’s birthday & she had a nice time & was satisfied!

This place is JUST ok. Did an okay job on gel mani & regular pedicure. Ended up having to pay for a «spa pedicure» because I guess they just decide for you even when you ask for a regular. That’s a big downfall– I had to pay $ 80 for a spa pedi and it was NOT worth that.

Gel nail art. I brought in a picture and without hesitation the entire staff was able to accommodate me. The store is extremely clean and service is great! Overall, it was a very pleasant and great experience! Thank youuu

Love this place!
I get regular manicures here and am always beyond satisfied. The space is bright and clean, the staff is extraordinarily friendly and the finish is always amazing! It’s not uncommon for me to go almost a full week with no chips to my standard (non-​gel) manicure with no touch ups. Everyone is super friendly and equally great manicurists. I’d highly recommend the keratin treatment add-​on, which is highly moisturizing and perfect for addressing problem cuticles.
The only feedback I’d give to improve this location is to add more colors to their polish selection– it’s not as sizable as some other salons. That said, this location is my go-​to spot to get my nails done flawlessly, every time. Highly recommended!

I went in for a manicure yesterday. The cost is $ 15. The atmosphere is posh and clean. It has the feeling of a contemporary designed spa but with reasonable prices. Grace was my manicurist and it was a lovely experience. She really took her time with my nails. It was nice not to feel rushed. One of my favorite things they did is I did not have to get up to wash my hands between the hand massage & polishing my nails. Instead, she sprayed my nails clean & then rubbed them with polish remover to ensure there was no residual oils.
I also was offered a neck massage during my manicure. It was nice but was $ 15 for 10 minutes, which I think is overpriced.

I paid 50 $ for a «spoiled diva pedicure» but didn’t get any special microderm, foot wrap, or 10-​minute massage. I didn’t realise until I reread the menu later or I would have said something at the time. Also, I did not like that I left with oil on my legs still. I did enjoy the service and I thought the facility looked very clean.

I absolutely loved everything about this place! Took my fiancé for his first pedi here and they really set the bar high!
I had David and he had Liz they were both really nice and gave great massages! Lots of different options to chose from and the products they use are nicer than most places. The salon was very clean and had cute décor!
Wish this place was in Vegas, haven’t found anywhere there that I like this much.

When you looking for good nail salon in chealsea, just try this place
simply they have great nail technician and massage therapist, also the other service is good either

Atmosphere is really nice, pedi stations in the back are great for a group of friends.
The color selection was adequate but smaller than I’ve seen at other salons.
The «final product» — meaning the consistency of the polish on the nails, not missing spots, no spill over on my toes, etc. was very good.
However, the experience itself was lacking. Zero, and I do mean zero, foot or calf massage. not even a weak one. Also, virtually no scrub on the heels. I don’t have much in terms of callouses, but it is pretty typical that I’ll get some sort of pumice or abrasive work to soften them up just a bit. My tech (I think Steven, but I could be remembering wrong) put some gel on a paddle and gave about two swipes back and forth with zero pressure and that was it.
As I have probably mentioned before on other salon reviews, my pedi experience is as much (if not more) about the foot/​calf treatment as it is about the polish. For that reason, this is a 3 star establishment, perhaps even a 3-​minus considering that they are priced on the high side for being just a nail salon.
